On jan*,**** i booked a flight from victoria(ac****)to mexicocity from vancouver (ac***)departure was from victoria at **.** from vancouver at *.**pm on Jan **rd. When i received email confirmation for this return flight which was s scheduled to return on feb**th at *.** am from mexico city . I noticed i was charged double the advertised amount of *** dollars return flight by a third party called Avion travel .I was surprised ,because it looked like i was on an official air canada website . I called my credi card company(mastercard )and asked what charges had gone through my account . There were two debits ***.** and ***.**from air canada .i was also told there was a credit posted by air canada for ***.** .I phoned air Canada at this time and asked what the credit was for and why was i charged double the advertised price by this third party booking g agent called travel avion ,which operates out of las vegas, usa . The air canada agent i spoke to at this time acknowledged i had been cheated by travel avion and the credit of ***.** was a correction of this mistake .by travel avion of overcharging .i departed on that flight on Jan ** from vancouver to mexico city flight number ac*** . Email confirmation number was ***,**********.this email came from travel avion . While in mexico i was in a car accident and rescheduled a new flight with air canada to return to vancouver from mexico city on feb. **nd . Today i phoned aircanada to claim a credit for the unused part of my original flight returning to vancouver feb** from mexico city(ac***)the agent i spoke to said he could not help me because the entire ticket had been voided .i said how can that be ,when i departed from vancouver to mexico city on jan ** using one part of that paid for return flight . I just got my statement from Mastercard and all the previous three entries i just mentjoned in this email were there as i have just stated plus an additional debit by air canada of ***.** so now i am back to where i have paid double to air canada for this original ticket plus i cannot get a credit for the unused return flight because air canada has voided the entire ticket .now i want a credit for the return flignt i will not be using and i want the charges to my credit card reversed to reflect that i have paid the aircanada advertised amount of *** dolars return flight from victoria to mexico city on Jan **rd . Please give me an accurate explanation of what is going on with this overcharge and then voiding of my original ticket which i booked from an air canada website , while my Mastercard statement still states that i have paid double for the original ticket to air canada on four separate entries .Is this a police matter ,which concerns a scam by travel avion to cheat customers it represents t on behalf of air canada. Waiting for an urge t reply and settlement .thank you
