The issue in GetHuman3833489's own words
me and daughter stayed in Bangkok for * months this summer. We bought an AT&T passport plan ($***month*phone) for international calls. The ATT agent said the plan automatically renewed at the end each month but this was false. A week into the second month I got a message from ATT about excessive roaming charges and discovered the passport did not automatically renew. An ATT representative added the passport for the second month to retroactively cover the week of excessive roaming charges and sent a text confirming this. However we never saw any adjustment on subsequent bills. I have spent hours on the phone with offshore ATT agents, mostly unitelligible, who clearly don't understand the rate codes and refer me to other departments with more confused agents, always having to again explain the problem from scratch. Our bill clearly shows a week of calls and data that don't have the passport rate codes. ATT needs to apply the passport rate codes to that week of calls and texts, but they make up some lame excuse like we must have been calling from an airplane during the whole week!
