GetHuman2616040's complaint issue with AT&T from March 2019
Help with my AT&T issue
Top Tip from another customer
There are many ways to submit a complaint to DirectTV but the best option is to call in. If you call into DirectTV you are more likely to get a strong resolution than using http://www.directv.com/DTVAPP/global/contentPageNR.jsp?assetId=P1700006.
The issue in GetHuman2616040's own words
Hello. I sent the following cover letter along with ** pages of supporting documentation via certified mail to AT&T's Department of the President (Paramus, NJ) as I was instructed to do by an AT&T Customer Service representative. My mail arrived and was signed for on March **, ****. I have not received any response yet and am now being threatened with service interruption. As I state, I would hope to resolve this directly with AT&T before pursuing other courses of action. PLEASE have someone at AT&T with decision-making authority contact me at within the next three (*) days. My contact information is at the bottom of the below cover letter.*Thank you.*Erik Sorensen**March **, ******AT&T*Department of the President*P.O. Box *****Paramus, NJ. *******RE:*Serious Grievance Regarding Recent Experience with AT&T***Dear AT&T Department of the President Personnel,**As I write this to you, I am tired, frustrated and upset…**I did not want to have to send you this as I truly hoped it could be resolved locally. However, unfortunately that has not been the case and I am now forced to escalate this grievance -at the same time that I am trying very hard to believe that this was an unfortunate and isolated incident and “NOT” a fundamental indication of AT&T business practices.**In the attached you will find a textual, detailed description of what transpired at my January **th (****) visit to our local AT&T store -a store that I have visited many times over the years with no such incidents. Additionally, you will find an exchange of emails between me and the store manager, William Rocabado, plus copies of the original (Jan. **) receipt and recent AT&T invoices.**I have arranged the email correspondence in chronological order from earliest to most recent (and certainly Mr. Rocabado has exactly the same emails in his files).**Please review the accompanying information and kindly contact me if anything is not clear or if you require additional details from my part or from my daughter (who is also on this account and was with me on January **th).**My very sincere hope is that AT&T can resolve this here and now.**I do not wish to pursue this any further and I, as mentioned before, wish to believe that this was a very unfortunate and isolated incident -as it is the only one of such distaste that I have encountered with AT&T in over ** years as a customer.**I look forward to your comments forthcoming.**Kind regards,**Erik D.
