Dealing with AT&T was determined that I could not renew my contract with Uverse, on the phone and at the store in Ocean Springs, MS. They said I had to switch to Direct TV. My price would be $** month savings and I would receive a $*** Visa card. They took my $**.** set up an appointment for Saturday October **, between * AM and ** PM. I receive text messages that day from AT&T about being at my house for the technician between *AM and **Pm. No calls*no technician. I finally get a hold of someone after patiently waiting for technician who did not even call. ** minutes into the phone conversation they tell me they were short staffed and no technician was given my address for installation and I would have to reschedule! I asked to speak to a manager as this was an unacceptable way to handle this situation and just let me keep my Uverse under a new contract price. He transferred me to a recording that said it didn’t take calls from my area and then disconnected me. Again I call and after much frustration I reached a man in the customer loyalty department. He said he was going to take care of my issue, renew my Uverse contract at a better price and better package and was going to put it together and call me back. That was about ***:**pm Sat *yesterday Oct **. No phone call. Seriously frustrated. My contract ends Wednesday with Uverse and I do not want to pay higher bill. Why did the loyalty department not bother to call me back? What is the conclusion to my new Uverse package? I work *-* mon-Friday and do not have the option of keeping my phone with me.
