If you believe you have been scammed, we encourage you to report the issue to Xoom Customer Service immediately. Cancel the transaction as soon as possible, if it hasn't been completed yet. Unfortunately, if the money has already been picked up or deposited, it might not be possible to retrieve it. You'll want to also report the fraud to your local law enforcement and the FTC in the US. Please remember to always protect your Xoom account and personal information to avoid scams. Stay vigilant and don't share your password or personal details with anyone you don't trust.
