1. Create an Account

You need to create an account on the Vanguard website. You'll get a welcome email with instructions on how to set up your account.

2. Choose Your Account Type

The next step is to determine the best Vanguard broker for your needs. There are three main types of accounts.

  • Individual
  • Joint

You'll need to decide if you want a Traditional IRA or Roth IRA.

3. Add Funds

  • Once you select your options, click on Add Funds.

On the next screen, you'll have to enter your information.

  • Enter your name, address, phone number, email address and password. Click continue.

4. Sell Particular Stock

To sell particular stocks, you can:

  • Click on the name of the stock you want to sell.
  • Select how many shares you want to sell and when.

5. Enter the Number of Shares

Once you enter the number of shares you want to sell.

  • Select the Sell button.

7. Review Your Selections

After you review your choices, click Next and then Continue. You can now review your fund's performance history. Make any necessary changes until you're satisfied with the outcome.

8. Enter PIN To Confirm the Order
