Vanguard has some popular investment tools that many people use to make money. If you're one of those people, you need to learn how to transfer your earnings from your Vanguard account to your bank account. Reading this article will show you several different ways of doing that.

Linking Your Vanguard and Bank Accounts

An electronic bank transfer is the easiest way of withdrawing money from your Vanguard account and into your bank account. To do this, you must first link your Vanguard account and your bank account together following these steps:

1. Go to the Vanguard web page.
2. Sign in.
3. Expand the My Account menu at the top of the page.
4. Select Profile and Account Settings.
5. Click on Banking and Money Movement.
6. Click on Bank Information.
7. Click on Add a New Bank Account.
8. Enter your first and last names.
9. Enter the account and routing numbers for your bank.
10. Click Review.
11. Review the information on the review page.
12. Click on Continue to E-Sign.
13. Answer a security question.
14. Click on Sign & Submit.

Withdrawing Money with an Electronic Bank Transfer

To withdraw money with an Electronic Bank Transfer, follow these steps:

1. Sign into your account.
2. Navigate to the Sell Funds page.
3. Select your bank account from the "Where is your money going?" menu.
4. Select Electronic Bank Transfer.
5. Enter the amount you want to transfer.

Withdrawing Money with a Wire Transfer

Under some circumstances, Vanguard will work with you to help you get your money into an account that hasn't been authenticated during the linking process. This sometimes comes up, for example, during the seven to10 day period after a client has linked a bank account but before it has been authenticated. To make a transfer in these circumstances, call Vanguard customer service between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time Mondays through Fridays and explain your situation.
