What happens if I am not at home to receive the package?

Asked a year ago
If you are not at home to receive a package delivered by UK Mail, the courier will attempt a few options to ensure successful delivery. Firstly, they might try to leave the package with a neighbor, provided they are willing to accept it on your behalf. Alternatively, they could leave the package in a secure place at your property, like a porch or designated safe spot, as long as it meets their guidelines for safe delivery. If neither of these options is possible, the courier will leave a calling card with instructions on how to rearrange delivery at a more convenient time or to collect the package from a local depot. UK Mail aims to make the delivery process as convenient as possible for recipients, even when they are not available to receive the package in person.
