Recovering Your User ID

If you forgot your TransUnion user ID, you may need to fill out a form and submit it to TransUnion. You will be required to enter your first and last name and your email address. After filling in the form, click 'Submit.'

If the information you have provided matches what is in your User Profile, TransUnion will mail you your user ID

Recovering Your TransUnion Password

If you forgot your TransUnion password, it can be sent to you via email. You may need to complete a form with your challenge question and user ID. If you recover your TransUnion password, it will be sent to the email address associated with your user ID.

If you have logged in to your account two or more times before, you may use the password reset function. Click on the link 'Forgot Password' or 'Login is locked.'

During your initial login, you chose a challenge question and a response. You will be required to enter your challenge response and user ID during the password reset process. When entering your challenge response, ensure that it is exactly as listed in your profile. If you don't remember it, click on the link 'Forgot your challenge question.' You need to enter your email address and user ID to access your challenge question.

If your login privileges have been locked, you can recover access to your account. If you remove the lock, you will receive a temporary password through email. You will be required to fill out a form with your user ID and challenge response. Click 'Submit' and your password will be sent to you.
