Fixing a Time Warner phone is a relatively simple and straightforward process. That said, there is one very important item to understand before moving forward. Time Warner has undergone a name change and is now called Spectrum. Spectrum offers wireless/cellular services.

When signing up for the wireless plan, customers have the option of enrolling in the Spectrum Mobile Protection Plan. This covers Apple or Android phones in the event the device or battery fails. In addition, it provides coverage in the event of lost, dropped, smashed or stolen phones.

The Spectrum Mobile Protection plan runs through a platform called Assurant. Your disabled Time Warner phone will be fixed or replaced through Assurant. The page for the Spectrum Mobile Protection Plan can be found by clicking on the following link: https://fastclaim.com/spectrummobile.aspx. This page has some useful information including a deductible schedule that outlines what a customer will have to pay out of pocket for different scenarios. The deductible amounts vary not only by the type of claim such as a lost phone versus a cracked screen but also the original MSRP of the device.

It should be noted that if you have an Apple product that is having an issue that requires a repair, Spectrum wants customers to contact Apple first.

To begin the claim process. Use the box in the top right corner of the screen to enter a mobile number or IMEI number. The following page will ask customers to provide information regarding the incident that led to the broken or stolen device. In addition, payment information is required. This payment information will be used toward the deductible. Once the information is gathered, it will be reviewed by the claims department. If the claim is approved, the customer will be shipped a replacement device immediately. It will be shipped with next-day delivery. If that delivery day happens to fall on a weekend, customers will have the option of paying extra for weekend delivery. If a repair is warranted, a shipping label will be provided. Customers must return the broken device.

In addition to the web portal, a claim can be started by contacting Spectrum directly. The phone number can be found through the following link: https://gethuman.com/phone-number/Spectrum.
