Why Can't I Withdraw Samsung Pay Money?

Withdrawing money from Samsung Pay is easy and convenient for you. It gives you the freedom to access your money and sort your financial needs. However, you may encounter a problem in withdrawal through Samsung pay because of several reasons.

Insufficient Money in Your Account

Lacking enough money in your account is a guarantee that you won't withdraw money from your Samsung Pay. Therefore, you can draw a lower amount that falls within the amount available in your account. Alternatively, you can add funds to your card through the app or initiate a transfer from your bank account:

  1. Open Samsung Pay on your device.
  2. Identify the pay tab on the lower part of your display screen and click on it.
  3. Click the left side and select the add money option.
  4. Choose the add money platform you will use as your bank account.
  5. Select the bank transfer tab at the top part of your screen.
  6. Click next after indicating the amount and your details to facilitate the top-up.

The Input of the Wrong Pin

When setting up your Samsung Pay account, you need a pin for security purposes. The pin protects you from the breach with unwanted parties. Should you input the wrong pin, you will not have a successful Samsung Pay withdrawal transaction. Nevertheless, always register your Samsung Pay account with a pin that you can easily remember, while still offering you optimum security. Plus, never disclose your pin to third parties.

Using an Expired Card

There are several banking facilities that you can use to access Samsung Pay. The MasterCard or debit card should be valid at the time of withdrawal. If your card has attained the expiry date, you will have issues making withdrawal transaction from Samsung Pay. Additionally, you can replace your expired card and fail to revalidate the details on your account. Failure to revalidate will inhibit you from making a successful withdrawal.

The Type of Terminal

There are two distinct terminals in a withdrawal transaction from Samsung Pay. These include the Magnetic Secure Transmission (MST) and the Near Field Communication (NFT). Thus, the withdrawal terminal can use either. If the terminal accepts the MST option over the NFT option, the reverse would also hold. Additionally, you should activate the withdrawal feature on your device before making the transaction:

  1. Open your Samsung Pay on your device.
  2. Swipe from the top part of the screen towards the bottom.
  3. Click the quick settings panel bar.
  4. Select the NFC icon and turn it on.

Switching on the feature allows your mobile phone to communicate with the terminal. Consequently, you could be using a terminal that is not supporting a contactless withdrawal option. The card reader should support either the NFC or MST option.

Exceeding Your Amounts Limit

Two account classification falls under the account, namely the lite account and full account. With a full account, you have a higher limit to make your withdrawal compared to the lite account classification.

Lack of Proper Verification

Your fingerprint is a unique security feature that isn't similar to anyone else's. Therefore, you can use your fingerprint as you withdraw your Samsung Pay money. However, if your device fails to recognize your fingerprint, the withdrawal is unsuccessful. To rectify the situation, you can restart your phone to boost the memory device for better functionality.

Network Issues

When running the transaction, you can receive a no network connection notification that signals you your internet connection is absent. Additionally, you may also see a network problem notification that hinders you from making a successful Samsung ay withdrawal. After confirming your network connection settings and still no change, you can restart your phone and try the transaction again.
