Progressive has flexibility when it comes to its cancellation options. However, it's your state's laws that determine what is available, so the fastest way to check is either by logging into your account or by phone. If you don't see a way to cancel online, then your state only allows for requests in writing. For the fastest refund, give them a call. If you'd rather mail in your cancellation, you can expect your refund to arrive within three to four weeks but call them if it's been longer than that. Your state may also require fees that are about 10% of your premium if you cancel early, so this could reduce your refund.

You can pay your Progressive insurance through various methods, including online payment via the Progressive website, the Progressive mobile app, automatic bank deductions, mailing a check, or through phone payments. Each option provides flexibility to ensure you can choose the payment method that best suits your needs.

However, you can request new cards to be sent to your address by logging into your Progressive account online. Once you're logged in, you can access your ID cards and request a mail delivery. Please remember that in some states digital insurance cards are accepted, so you can print it out or save it electronically for future use. It usually takes 7-10 business days to receive the request via mail.

To check if your policy is active, you'll need to log in to your Progressive account online. There you should be able to find the status of your policy in your account overview. To add a driver to your insurance policy, you also need to log in to your account. Then, look for the option to update or manage your policy. Here you should be able to add a new driver. You'll need to provide the driver's full name, date of birth, and driver's license number. Once you've added the new driver, your premium may change depending on the driver's experience and history.
