Our insurance policy with Progressive was unexpectedly canceled without prior notice. We had paid with a bank money order, which was not received at the Jacksonville, Illinois office. After contacting the representative, Seth, and supplying a picture of the money order receipt as per their request, we were assured the policy was active. Despite speaking to Seth multiple times, we were later informed by Angela that the policy had been canceled on the 9th. Angela mentioned that Seth had not checked our account before reassuring us, leading to confusion. We do not wish for Progressive to cash the money order if it arrives as we no longer want to be insured by them due to these poor business practices. The bank advised us to inform Progressive that we are no longer clients and that they should not honor the money order. Despite providing proof of payment, our policy was still canceled without our knowledge, causing further frustration.

I would like to report an issue with how my claim has been handled. I submitted the claim on Dec. 23, and still have not received any updates on my car that is in the repair shop. The repair representative I dealt with was confrontational and unhelpful, so I sought assistance elsewhere. Connecting with the main office has been frustrating as I was either met with silence or directed back to the same uncooperative representative, Andrew Booth. I have been left waiting for over two weeks now without any clarity on the status of my vehicle, while my rental car coverage is expiring soon. Despite being a loyal Progressive customer for a decade, I have never experienced such poor treatment. I recently received a notice from the tax commissioner claiming that my car was not insured when I registered it, but this is incorrect. To dispute this, I require my insurance provider, Progressive, to send proof of coverage for the complete year of [redacted] to the Berrien County Tax Commissioner located at [redacted] N Davis St RM [redacted], Nashville, GA 31[redacted].

Regarding a Liability Claim

I need to schedule a tow with Progressive Roadside Assistance for July 13, [redacted], at 8 am. My Honda CR-V is currently not starting and needs to be towed from my Lynnwood address to Dino's Auto Care in Kenmore. Despite attempting to contact Progressive's assistance line, I encountered issues with the automated system failing to confirm a later date for the tow and not connecting me to a customer service agent as requested. This experience has left me frustrated, and the negative feedback on Yelp about Progressive's roadside assistance adds to my concerns. I hope the situation improves, or I may have to reconsider my choice of insurance provider in the future.

Good afternoon, on April 29, [redacted], I was in a car accident involving a claimant with Progressive Insurance. When I took my car for repairs, I was promised a rental which was not provided. On July 12, [redacted], I was asked to drop off my vehicle for repairs, but parts weren't available until July 18th or 19th. I dropped off my car on July 20th, but no rental was available. Waiting for repairs is understandable, but not delivering on the agreed-upon rental is disappointing. Is this your standard business practice?

Hello, I am inquiring if it is still possible to submit a claim for the hail storm damage that occurred in April. The convertible top on my vehicle sustained two rips in the center due to the storm. Initially, we planned to purchase a replacement top from eBay and have it installed, estimating it to be slightly higher than the deductible. However, we encountered difficulty as no repair shops allow us to bring our own top, with the cost now estimated at $[redacted]. Water leaks into the car when it rains, necessitating that I store it in the garage or cover the top when parked outside. Is it still feasible to file a claim after several months have passed since the incident?

I haven't heard from a claims adjuster about my claim 23-[redacted] filed on 8/31/23. I can't reach a live person, being placed on hold for over an hour with no response. I paid $1,[redacted].00 for my homeowners insurance with my credit card. Additionally, the payment was made by my mortgage company, Rocket Mortgage, for the same amount. Despite multiple conversations with Progressive agents to facilitate a refund to Rocket Mortgage, we have yet to receive it. While we were informed that a refund was processed, it has now been over a month and we have not seen the refund come through.

Our car was hit in a grocery store parking lot on September 29, [redacted], at the Food Lion shopping center in Bayboro, NC. Despite the driver initially trying to leave, a witness stayed and helped identify the culprit, who provided their insurance information. Although the driver alerted local police, they did not file a report since the incident's jurisdiction falls under the Highway Patrol. When contacted, the Highway Patrol cited issues with the moved vehicle and the timing of the situation. They suggested that the local police should have involved them or provided us with written documentation for our records. The location of the collision was at the intersection of highways 55 and [redacted].

I recently received a card in the mail informing me that I am now a Diamond loyalty customer. The back of the card mentions exclusive perks, including a Continuous Insurance Discount. However, I have noticed my insurance premium and monthly payments increasing and would like clarification on the discounts I am supposed to be receiving.
