If you want to close your Plenty of Fish account and get a refund for the portion of the subscription you did not use then you may be out of luck. In many places, Plenty of Fish purchases are nonrefundable in all circumstances. However, this is not true everywhere. If you live in one of the locations eligible for refunds, the process is fairly simple, though different depending on whether or not you made the purchase through Apple.

If you live in the EEA, EU, UK, or Switzerland then you are entitled to a full refund if you request it within the first fourteen days after purchase.If you live in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Rhode Island, Wisconsin, or Israel then you have the right to cancel your account and get a refund at any point before midnight of the third business day after you purchased the subscription. If you become disabled before the end of your subscription then you are eligible for a refund for the remainder of the subscription period. If you die before the end of your subscription then your estate is eligible for a refund of the remaining portion of your subscription.Only subscriptions are ever qualified for refunds. Purchases of virtual items never qualify for refunds.

Before requesting the refund, you should cancel your account.

Click on the Sign In button at the top of the screen to sign in to your account.

Select the Manage Account option.

Click on Account Type in the Membership section.

Click on the Cancel Membership option in the My Membership section.

If you purchased your subscription through the Apple App Store then you must call an Apple customer service representative to request a refund.
