You can also speak to a manager or email the Marriott directly about your complaint.

Marriott Hotels operate multiple properties in several countries; you possibly stayed in one of its hotels and hopefully received excellent service. However, you can voice your concerns using one of the methods outlined below.

Speak With Someone

Whether restaurants or luxury hotels, the hospitality industry holds guest service to high standards. If, by coincidence, you found something unacceptable with a guest room upon arrival, reach out to a guest services associate to give them a chance to resolve it in a timely manner. Please call Marriott customer service here in case you need additional help.

Speak to a Manager

Your next course of action, if the previous one failed, is to escalate the issue to a supervisor. Entry-level guest associates know how to resolve the issue, but they require supervisors to initiate and approve the solution. Ask the manager for confirmation in writing if needed.

Complaints Made Effective

Complaining is made easier when you voice your concerns respectfully. Approaching the situation with your emotions high doesn't always resolve the problem, but remaining calm, polite and objective are important tools that make it easier for everyone. Pair it with one of the following strategies to get better results from your concerns.

  1. State your feelings about the situation, ensuring the listener develops empathy for you.
  2. Embellish your frustrations with a few positives to show the employee that you notice the upsides of your experience.

Email the Hotel

If you'd rather submit your concern in writing, you can do so by using the Contact Us form on the website. This approach is made easier if you sign into your account to pre-populate some information. You can, instead, send the message as a guest, but please note that you should receive a response within five calendar days.

First, navigate to the hotel website and click on the Help link. Next, type in Complaint in the search field and click on the help article How do I send a compliment or a concern through the website. Then, click on the Contact Us link in step one and follow the prompts. Select if your message is a concern or compliment for the Question/Issue topic's drop-down menu. Complete the hotel name with the dates of your stay. Fill out the remaining fields and submit the form.
