Macy's sells a wide range of popular items. If you want to return something that you bought at Macy's, read on to learn about its return and refund policy, and see if your return qualifies for a refund.
Macy's Return and Refund Policy
You can return most purchases for a refund if you make the return within 90 days of purchase. Apple products and designer merchandise must be returned within 14 days. Backstage merchandise, lighting items, and Destination Maternity merchandise must be returned within 30 days. Jewelry and watches must be returned within 60 days. All returns must be in their original with their original tags. Shipping fees are not refunded.
If you have the receipt, return label, packing slip, or the credit card used to make the purchase, you can get a refund in the original form of payment. If you have a gift receipt or bridal registry number, you will get store credit instead of a refund. If you don't have any proof of purchase, you can get store credit equal to the product's lowest price in the last 180 days.
Your account will be credited in 3 to 5 business days of the return.
You must return items you purchased at a store to a store. Anything purchased online can be returned to a store or by mail.
Making an In-Store Return
To return an item to a Macy's store, take it and proof of purchase to a customer service department representative. If you can't find your receipt, return label, or packing skip, the representative can find proof of purchase with the credit card you used to make the purchase.
Making a Return by Mail

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
