How Do I Report a Broken Product to Light In The Box?

    In the event that your Light in the Box parcel is damaged during shipping or arrives broken, you may be eligible for a full refund. In order to request a refund, you'll need to provide customer service with clear photographs showing the damage and order number.

    Reporting a Broken Product

    To report a lost or damaged item, you'll need to sign in to your online account and report the broken product.

    1. Go to the Light in the Box website and sign in to your account.
    2. Under the "Personal Orders" tab, click "My Orders."
    3. Find the order with the broken product and click it.
    4. Once your order is open, you'll see a list of items in it. Find the broken product and click the "Missing or Wrong Products" link.
    5. Fill out the form and click "Submit." Once the form has been submitted, customer service will contact you within 24 hours with a resolution.

    When Will My Refund Be Processed?

    Generally, your refund will be processed within two business days of submitting your complaint. However, different payment methods take different times.

    Bank Wire Transfer

    The time it takes to receive a refund via wire transfer depends on your bank. For questions regarding processing time, contact your bank's customer support team.

    Credit/Debit Card

    It takes between 7-45 working days for your credit card company to process the refund and deposit it into your bank account.

    PayPal

    If you have a PayPal account and used PayPal to complete your payment, your refund should show up immediately. If you're an unregistered PayPal user, it will work the same way a normal credit card payment works and will take 7-45 days to process your refund and return the money to your bank account.
