How Do I Find Out If My Lenovo Warranty Is Active?

Lenovo has been around since 1984 and boasts a wide range of electronic products to suit its consumers' needs. You can find software, computers, and smartphones manufactured by it. Naturally, you want to make sure your new computer is under warranty before sending it off for expensive repairs. This guide will show you how. Read on to find out more.

The Best Solution

In this day, completing tasks online is so common that you can find third-party websites to look up your warranty. You can use third-party websites to confirm that a warranty is active, but many people agree that it's best to use the Lenovo website for the most accurate and up-to-date information. In this case, you can not only find the warranty information but also send a support ticket using the same website.

  1. Go to the Lenovo website and then click on the Services and Solutions tab, then click on Warranty Lookup. You can also hover your cursor over the Services and solutions tab for the menu to pop up.
  2. You will be taken to Lenovo's warranty lookup located at the top of the page. You will need your device's serial number which might be located on the side or the back of your device. Please note that most serial numbers will be designated by the letters S/N.
  3. You will also find the company's warranty policies, make purchase upgrades to your current warranty or register your product on the same page.

If you have already purchased devices from Lenovo and have installed the company's service bridge, you can simply click on the button Detect my Device and it will pull up the necessary information.

If you have any questions or concerns, please reach out to Lenovo's customer service line here. Representatives are available Monday through Friday 9 AM EST until 7 PM EST. You can also visit the support articles and community available.

Why does GetHuman Write How-to Guides for Lenovo Problems?

GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
