Booking with Intercontinental Hotels and Resorts (IHG)
There are four primary ways you can book a stay at an IHG location: online, via the app, over the phone or by using a travel agent.
Online Booking
To book your IHG stay on the website, complete the following steps:
- Open Intercontinental Hotels on your computer.
- Log into your account or continue as a guest.
- Enter the name or zip code for your destination.
- Add your travel dates.
- Select the number of rooms and guests (both adult and children).
- Designate the type of rate you want to search such as a special rate for AARP members or Rewards Member rates.
- Click the "Search" button.
- Hit the "Select Hotel" button to view the available rooms at the hotel you want to stay in.
- Choose the room you want by hitting "Select."
- Add your information including name, address, phone number and payment details.
- Click "Book Reservation" to complete the process.
Booking Via App
To book your IHG stay via the mobile app, do the following:
- Open the IHG app on your mobile device.
- Log into your rewards account or continue as a guest.
- Enter the destination you are traveling to.
- Add the dates of travel.
- Set the number of rooms and guests and tap "Search."
- Tap the hotel you wish to stay at.
- Select "View Rooms" to see which rooms and rates are available.
- Pick the room type you want to reserve and tap "View Prices."
