How to Report an Issue with CVS Delivery?

CVS will let you order online and get that order delivered, even if it's from the pharmacy. If you have experienced an issue with your CVS delivery, turn on Instacart notifications and check your phone for messages. If that doesn't help, you can contact a CVS customer service representative. If you ordered something from the pharmacy, you may have to contact the Post Office, as CVS uses the mail to ship pharmacy orders.

If you like, CVS will do your shopping for you and deliver it to you. That even includes items from the pharmacy. While this service is very convenient, mistakes will sometimes happen. Your delivery could be late, it could be missing something, or it could even come with the wrong items. If you had a problem with your recent CVS delivery, there are a few things you should do.

Check for Notifications

If the issue is a late delivery, the first thing you should do is check for notifications from CVS or the delivery driver. That's because CVS doesn't do deliveries like many other companies do. If you didn't specifically request it, CVS won't leave your delivery unattended. So if you didn't hear the door or were away from home, the delivery driver might simply have come and gone already. You should note that, even if you did request that your order be left at the door, CVS still won't do it if it contains alcohol.

So check your phone for any messages about the delivery driver having missed you or being unable to find your house. Also, if you have the Instacart app, open it and switch on notifications. CVS uses it, so it's a good way to stay informed about the state of your delivery.

Contacting CVS

If the issue is that something is missing from your delivery, or that your delivery contains one or more incorrect items, you will need to contact a CVS customer service representative and ask for help. You will also need to do that if your delivery never arrived and you received no notifications about it. To contact one, use the CVS help forum or the customer service phone line.

Contacting the Post Office

CVS sends out delivery drivers for the great majority of its orders. However, it always uses the postal service for pharmacy items. So if your pharmacy order is late, you'll need to contact the post office to find out why. You can use the help forum, email, or phone.

If the post office can't find any record of your order, or if you received the wrong items, you will need to speak to a CVS representative for help.
