How Do I Cancel My Better World Books Order?
If you purchased the wrong books from Better World Books, the cancellation process is rather easy, involving a single online form. Better World Books' Cancellation Policy
Better World Books will try to cancel your order once you submit a cancellation request. However, the process of fulfilling and shipping orders is mostly automated, so most of the time the company will be unable to cancel your order. The earlier you submit the request, the better your odds of getting a cancelation.
Submitting a Cancellation Request
To submit your cancellation request, follow these steps:
- Go to Better World Books' home page.
- Click on the Sign In button in the upper right corner.
- Sign in to your account.
- Click on the Submit a Request link at the top of the page.
- Enter your email address in the text field under the Your Email Address header.
- Enter "Cancel My Order" in the text field under the Super-Short Summary header.
- Enter a description of why you need your order canceled in the text field under the Please Tell Us More header.
- Enter your order number in the text field under the Order Number header.
- Click on the Submit button.
Better World Books' Return and Refund Policy
If you are unable to get your order canceled, you may still be able to return it for a refund as long as you make the return within 60 days of purchase. All returned items must be in their original condition, including having any SKU stickers in place. You will be refunded the purchase price plus taxes. Shipping costs, however, are not refundable. Once your return is received, it will be processed within five business days. The refund will be made to your original payment method.
