In many Bethesda games, your in-game character name is separate from your Bethesda account name. Your account name is what you use to log into Bethesda's platform and it's consistent across all of their games and platforms. Your in-game character's name, however, is specific to each game and can be different in each one. It is also not visible to other players in multiplayer settings, as all other players will see your account name. So, it is completely normal if these two names do not match.
