Before contacting Asurion or visiting a repair center, check your claim status first. Visit Asurion's claims page and select the carrier or retailer associated with your protection plan. For this example, we'll select AT&T. On the next page, you'll find an option to track your existing claim.
To check the status of your claim, click Track Your Claim and follow the on-screen instructions. You may also want to check for any texts or emails from Asurion requesting additional information or documentation regarding your claim. Depending on your issue, Asurion may ask you to provide identification, supporting documents, or proof of purchase.
If your claim is still pending because you haven't uploaded the required documents yet, proceed to the next step.
Asurion may need supporting documentation to review and process your claim and determine the appropriate resolution. If you haven't submitted the requested documents yet, click Upload Documentation and follow the on-screen instructions. You can find this option on Asurion's AT&T claims page.
You may also be asked to fill out an affidavit to help prevent fraud and provide more information about your claim. Some claims may take only a few minutes to submit, while others may take longer because they require additional documentation. If you need a replacement phone, the process may also take longer, as availability may depend on inventory.
If you have a damaged phone, make sure you've already requested a prepaid return label so you can return the device within 10–15 days. Otherwise, additional charges may apply.
Did you submit your claim on time, ship the damaged phone, and upload all the relevant documents, yet Asurion still hasn't resolved it? Reach out to Customer Support to see whether there are any other issues with your claim. You may visit an authorized repair center or contact Asurion directly. Reach out during business hours to increase your chances of speaking with a representative who can assist you.
If Asurion resolved your claim issue and you need help setting up your replacement device, consider visiting a local uBreakiFix by Asurion store for assistance. Proceed to the next step for more information.
To find an Asurion store, enter your city, postal code, or ZIP code, or click Use Current Location. Consider calling the store ahead of time to ask whether you need an appointment or can simply walk in. A representative may be able to help you set up your device.
Did Asurion resolve your claim issue? GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
