How do I update my payment information on Airtasker?

We'll go through the steps to update your payment information on Airtasker, on the web and through the iOS or Android app.

Updating Payment Information Through the Web

Are you in your office, and you'd like to use your computer to change your account information? You can update your Airtasker payment information on the web through these steps:

1. Log in to Your Airtasker Account

Log in to your Airtasker account using your credentials to update your payment information online. You must have a stable internet connection and a compatible web browser to complete the process smoothly.

Ensure you use a secure device since logging in on a public computer leaves your account vulnerable to access by others sharing the same machine. Use a private window if you're on a public computer.

2. Click on Your Profile Icon

Once you've logged in, locate and click on your profile icon. It's located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. This opens a drop-down menu with various options. The profile mainly contains your set profile picture, and it's the first thing that clients notice on your profile. 

3. Click Settings

Select the "Settings" option in the menu. This takes you to the settings page, where you can manage your account preferences. 

4. Click on Payment Methods

Locate and click the "Payment Methods" option on the settings page. This allows you to view and manage your payment details.

5. Add Your Credit/Debit Card Details

In the payment methods section, there's a tab labeled "Make Payments." Click on this tab and add your credit or debit card details. Double-check to confirm that you've entered the correct information to avoid payment issues.

iOS or Android App

Airtasker has enabled access to payment information settings via the mobile app. You can do so in these steps:

1. Log in to Your Airtasker App

To update your payment information through the Airtasker app, log in to your account on your iOS or Android device. Make sure you have the latest version of the app installed. If you don't, the app prompts you to update it via the App Store or Play Store.

2. Click Account on the Bottom Menu

Once logged in, navigate to the app's bottom menu and locate the "Account" option. Click it to access the account settings.

3. Click on Payment Options

Within "Settings" look for the "Payment Options" section. Tap on it to proceed to the payment management page.

4. Select Update payment methods

On the payment options page, you'll find the option to "Update Payment Methods." Tap on it to initiate the process of updating your payment information. If you've crammed your card details, fill them in, then compare them to your actual card to ensure you don't make a mistake. 

Enter the necessary information accurately to ensure successful payments. Should you encounter any issues that may prevent you from updating the account information, feel free to contact customer support.
