If you cancel the task before a Tasker (as they call the people who sign up for work on the site) has started work, Airtasker will review the cancellation. If it finds nothing inappropriate about it, it will refund your money in the form of account credits minus a cancellation fee that it determines at the time.
If you cancel the task after a Tasker has begun work, then Airtasker will initiate a dispute. It will attempt to mediate between you and the Tasker to determine a fair amount to pay the Tasker for the work that was already done. If you and the Tasker cannot come to an agreement, then Airtasker will decide how much you will be refunded. A cancellation fee will still apply. If you cancel the task because of the Tasker’s actions or a breach of contract, you will not be liable for any payments or cancellation fees.
If you are granted a refund, Airtasker will take from 5 to 7 business days to apply the credits to your account.
To get a refund for your canceled task, all you have to do is cancel the task. Airtasker will automatically start the refund process described above. To cancel a task you have posted, follow this procedure:
You may also be able to get a refund in the form of money instead of account credits. To request a refund in the same form of payment you used to fund the task, you will need to talk to an Airtasker customer service representative. To make the request, you will have to go to the Airtasker help forum. There are no other online contact options and no customer service phone line, either.
GetHuman has been working for over 10 years on sourcing information about big organizations like Comcast in order to help customers resolve customer service issues faster. We started with contact information and fastest ways to reach a human at big companies. Particularly ones with slow or complicated IVR or phone menu systems. Or companies that have self-serve help forums instead of a customer service department. From there, we realized that consumers still needed more detailed help solving the most common problems, so we expanded to this set of guides, which grows every day. And if you spot any issues with our What do I do if my Xfinity TV or internet is out? guide, please let us know by sending us feedback. We want to be as helpful as possible. If you appreciated this guide, please share it with your favorite people. Our free information and tools is powered by you, the customer. The more people that use it, the better it gets.
After helping consumers for 10 years, we realized that you need an impartial, live person you can talk to about comparing the various TV, cable, Internet and phone plans in your area- somebody who can compare the best deals across telecom providers. So we created a free concierge service you can call at the phone number below.
