My family and I all use Ibotta. I have been a user for the longest, and I convinced my sister to join, followed by my mom who signed up today. We all made purchases at Walmart, and redeemed the receipts without any problems. My mom received the welcome bonus after completing the 10 offers, and my sister also purchased qualifying items from the offer list. However, when my sister tried scanning her receipt, it didn't recognize any offers. Now, all three of our accounts are locked. My mom has $46 that she earned legitimately, and my sister has $26 that she can't withdraw. I currently have $5 with $2 pending. We have all the receipts to prove our purchases. I encountered an issue while attempting to transfer funds to my PayPal account. The app alerted me that my account was locked. Following instructions from one of your articles, I logged out and tried to log back in using Face ID on my iPhone. However, the system rejected my password, even though I knew it was correct. Upon trying to reset my password, I encountered a different error. These problems are causing significant inconvenience. I reached out yesterday without receiving a response. The primary concerns are the inability to access my account or reset the password and the account lock preventing fund transfers. I urgently request resolution by the end of today. Upon checking my account, I noticed that my funds worth $34.85 were released. When I tried to transfer the funds via PayPal linked to the Ibotta app, I encountered an error. Following the suggested steps from an article, I closed the app. However, upon trying to transfer again, it stated that my account was locked. Despite previous requests to resolve this, the issue persists. I followed instructions to log out and attempted to log in, but my saved passwords and face ID were invalid. After trying to reset my password, it gave me an error code preventing me from doing so. This has caused inconvenience as I cannot access my funds, transfer them, or even log into my account. I trust this will be resolved promptly as this is the third time reaching out. Please assist as soon as possible.

I, like others here, experienced a double charge on my bank account for a $[redacted] purchase when using Ibotta pay for the first time. The gift card didn't scan, leading me to use my debit card instead. Upon checking my bank account, both the Ibotta and debit card transactions had processed. I'm puzzled as to how the transaction went through without the gift card scanning. I've reached out to Ibotta for assistance on getting my money back but haven't received a response. Living paycheck to paycheck, I was trying to save money, and now I'm out more than expected. Frustration is an understatement right now.

I attempted to use the Pay with Ibotta feature at Olive Garden, but encountered an error. I ended up paying with my debit card instead. Upon reviewing my bank account, I noticed that I was charged twice - the Ibotta transaction went through despite the error, and then my debit card payment. Neither the bank nor Olive Garden are willing to refund the duplicate charge. I believe I should be refunded as I made multiple attempts and encountered an error each time.

I purchased multiple items at Walmart. While checking out, the cashier attempted to scan my phone for Ibotta, but the transaction didn't register on the cashier's side. Consequently, I had to use my credit card linked to my Ibotta account. However, my checking account was charged twice - once by Ibotta and then again by Walmart. On September 22, [redacted], I visited Walmart to make a purchase. Initially, my total was $3.36, but I couldn't use the Ibotta feature due to a minimum requirement. I ended up buying an extra item priced at $2.67 to meet the $5.00 minimum for Ibotta, making the new total $6.03. However, I encountered difficulties during the transaction, receiving multiple "denied" messages. After contacting Citi Visa and Walmart, with transactions still pending, I faced issues with another $11.67 purchase through Ibotta, leading to confusion with pending charges on my credit card. I made unrelated payments to test my card, but the Ibotta charges remained problematic. I expressed concerns about erroneous transactions appearing on my Ibotta app and sought a solution either from Ibotta or Citi Visa to address the issue promptly before it impacts other customers.

I had an old Ibotta account that I deleted, and my current phone number was associated with it. I was under the impression that I could use the same number for a new account. However, when I tried, it said that the number was linked to another account. I confirmed my old account was deactivated. To resolve this, I got a temporary text number from an app. Unfortunately, it expired, and now I can't use Ibotta Pay or withdraw cash. My phone number has changed since signing up for Ibotta. When I try to cash out, it won't let me verify my device and only asks for phone verification. I have not received any acknowledgment and am frustrated. I plan to contact the Better Business Bureau and share my experience on social media if this is not resolved promptly. I have waited months for customer service to assist me but have been ignored. I used to recommend this app to friends, but not anymore. I would like to be compensated for the inconvenience by the Ibotta team, or receive the $60.00 owed to me via PayPal to [redacted] soon. Otherwise, I will consider taking further action.

To whom it may concern, I have been unable to access my account for two and a half weeks. When I try to log in through the app using my email, I receive an error stating that someone else is already using that email, despite it being mine. I kindly request assistance in either transferring my funds to a new account or unblocking my current one. I believe it is unfair to be denied access to my account when I am not engaged in any wrongdoing. Previously, I requested help and was only provided with a password reset, which did not solve the issue. As a customer, I feel that it is important to not only be listened to but also be assisted. On October 1, [redacted], I tried to make a payment using my Ibotta app at Wal-Mart, located at [redacted] US Highway 82, Tifton, GA [redacted]. The register showed my card as denied. An associate assisted and witnessed the entire transaction. After the denial, I used my actual debit card to complete the purchase. Upon checking, I discovered I had been double-charged by Ibotta and Wal-Mart. This seems to be an Ibotta issue as the register clearly indicated my card was denied. I submitted a request to Ibotta five days ago regarding a double charge issue, once from Ibotta and once from Walmart. I have been dealing with Walmart for the past five days without any response from Ibotta to assist me in resolving the $[redacted]+ overpayment. I am frustrated and disappointed by the lack of communication from your company. I plan to contact my bank to dispute both transactions and leave it to Ibotta and Walmart to resolve. I tried to withdraw $[redacted] from Ibotta to my PayPal account, but when I click on the button, it directs me to contact the support team. I depend on this money for medicine at Walgreens. I hope this issue can be resolved promptly so I can access my funds. Thank you for your assistance. Bobby B.

I have been waiting for almost 48 hours for a response from the Ibotta help desk. I explained in detail that I am trying to redeem my earnings, but I'm unable to do so because the system requires me to verify a phone number. Unfortunately, my new phone number is not working for this purpose. I have provided the help desk with all my old phone numbers and requested that any outdated numbers be removed so I can access my earnings. However, I have not received any response yet. It seems unreasonable that I am unable to verify my email and it appears to be a tactic to prevent users from claiming their rewards.

Hello! I'm having issues with my Ibotta app - I can't withdraw my earnings! This has been going on for two weeks now. I have sent about 12 messages and submitted a request daily. Finally, I received a response from the Ibotta team confirming they had reviewed my account, made adjustments, and I should have full access to my account and money. However, when I try to withdraw, it still doesn't work. I keep getting a message to try again later. I need help, please! Can someone assist me with the steps to unlock my account? How much longer will it be like this? Is there a direct number for Ibotta customer service to call? I have left messages via email, but they never respond! Help! Thank you in advance.

I have been unable to withdraw my money for two weeks now! I have sent numerous messages and requests but I only receive automated responses and no one helps me! I got a message from the Ibotta team saying my issue was resolved and I had full access to my account and earnings, but it's not true! When I try to withdraw, it doesn't work! It just says there is missing information and to try again later (more than two weeks like this!!) What can I do? HELP.

I am still locked out of my Ibotta account. I have been reaching out for help for the past few weeks with no response. I have $[redacted].60 in my account that I would like to withdraw. I have been receiving emails indicating my order has been canceled and money has been deducted from my account at QVC. Despite my requests, I have not received the items reportedly canceled. In response, I have been receiving threatening emails and poor customer support, which is unacceptable. When inquiring about these issues, I continue to receive untrue emails and faced with rudeness. After attempting to address this matter by sending queries, my account was unexpectedly canceled. This action was not authorized by me and has left me unable to access my funds, including the wrongly withdrawn amounts. Despite my repeated attempts to resolve this, no one has reached out to assist with the missing funds. In an unexpected turn, someone by the name of HottenIsiah N. has taken it upon themselves to cancel my account without my authorization. I am requesting immediate resolution to this problem. I expect my account to be reinstated with all funds reimbursed promptly. Please address this matter urgently.

I encountered an issue trying to log into my Ibotta account today — I got logged out, and my password no longer seemed to work. I haven't had to log in or out for a while, but recently started using it again consistently over the past 2 or 3 months. Previously, I saw that the money I had saved there had expired or something, but there wasn't much in there at that time. I've been diligently saving and believe I had around $95-$[redacted]. I frequently shop at Walgreens, Target, Walmart, Schnucks, and Family Dollar using Ibotta. My account may be under my old work email [redacted], but since getting divorced, I switched back to my maiden name Peterson. I thought it was connected to my current email or Facebook, but when I tried, it started a new account with zero dollars. I was shocked to see all my savings gone. I'd appreciate assistance since I can no longer access the email associated with the account. I've moved to Fenton, MO, to be closer to my children post-divorce.
