No, iBotta cannot be used for online purchases. Currently, iBotta only supports in-store purchases. To earn cash back, you need to shop at physical retail locations and submit your receipts through the app. However, iBotta does offer online shopping options through its mobile app, where you can earn cash back from select online retailers by starting your shopping session from within the app. This way, you can still save money while shopping online, but you need to launch the retailer's website or app through iBotta to be eligible for cash back. Keep in mind that each retailer may have specific terms and conditions for online purchases, such as minimum spend requirements or restricted product categories.
