I am having an issue with verifying my phone number. I find it frustrating that the account is linked to a different phone number when I only have one. I need to reset the number so I can access my earnings through PayPal. In the future, it would be beneficial if the verification process is done correctly. Also, the customer service response time of a week is unacceptable. When a company is expanding, improvements should be made to address frequent customer dissatisfaction.

This is my third email to address this issue. While using Ibotta and shopping on Walmart.com, I purchased a mattress advertised for a 5% cash back which influenced my decision. However, Ibotta is claiming it is not eligible. I am contacting you to understand why my cash back is being denied. I request the cash back I earned through YOUR APP. My current email is [redacted], having changed it from [redacted] due to a hacking incident. Despite updating my email on Ibotta, I encounter a frozen screen in the "help" section with a message saying the previous email is taken. Please address this technical glitch and reimburse me accordingly.

I apologize for the frustration I've experienced with this issue. This is the third or fourth time I'm addressing it without any response. I purchased a $50 Bloomin Brands gift card on June 4, [redacted], at 9:44 pm and have not received it despite numerous requests for re-sending. My current email is [redacted], and I've not been getting any communication from the app regarding this matter or my changed account email due to a previous hacking incident. I am disappointed in the lack of assistance I've received and the inability to reach someone directly for support. I have been trying to resolve this for almost two months now. I have $35.50 in my Ibotta account. I attempted to transfer the money to my PayPal account, but my Ibotta account got locked up. I am unable to transfer the funds to either PayPal or Venmo. I believe I have followed all the rules. I even tried to transfer the money to my husband's PayPal account, but it still did not work. I am in need of assistance with this issue. I was excited to use Ibotta with a referral code promising $10, but the credit did not appear in my account. After purchasing items at Ralph’s and Vons, my receipt uploads didn't reflect all the deals completed. The app indicated my account was linked through my rewards card, promising rewards within 48 hours. At Vons, a specific item for an offer was missing, forcing me to manually add items for redemption. This defeats the purpose, as users could falsely claim rewards. The Mr. Praeger’s offer didn't work at checkout despite the barcode being valid. Ibotta seemed straightforward, but the manual process and technical issues are frustrating.

I have been using the app for almost 2 months now and I am loving it. I initially created an account in [redacted] but stopped using it as I didn't really get it. Recently, with 5 kids, I regret not using it sooner. Everything has been going great, and it gives me something enjoyable to do (shopping, of course!). However, today when trying to withdraw to my PayPal, I encountered an issue as my account is locked, even though I've already redeemed 42 rebates just since the 1st! I am over halfway to the big bonus and this is discouraging. I have noticed this happening to others for no reason, and it's frustrating. I would like to redeem my rebates hassle-free. I find it quite unreasonable that such a large company has no option for customers to call and speak to a representative, especially in such situations.

I have been using Ibotta for 2 years. Last summer, my email service provider discontinued my email service, so I had to change email addresses. Since then, I have had trouble with Ibotta. When I recently tried to redeem my current cash back amount of $55.00, the app informed me that the phone number linked to my account does not match any of my possible phone numbers. I've encountered an issue with a specific retailer, Food Lion, while using Ibotta since [redacted]. I've noticed a lack of credit for purchases made starting from June. Food Lion's loyalty card system should automatically link to Ibotta for credit, unlike other stores where you scan receipts. I've tried to resolve this with no clear response on why the credits ceased. Now, they state only the card is needed for credit, but Ibotta is on my phone, and my husband does the shopping. We spend over $[redacted] weekly at Food Lion and need clarification on the process. Since Food Lion went paperless, my earnings are not showing up, causing frustration. Ibotta does not have a phone line for assistance, making it difficult to resolve. Your help is appreciated.

Ibotta declined to approve a valid receipt on the final day of a $10 bonus that we were eligible for due to our purchases. The receipt included two items bought specifically to qualify for the reward. When Ibotta informed me of the rejection and I no longer had the receipt, they had a legible copy of the photo I had sent. However, they still chose not to accept it. Their responses take a lengthy three to four days, and are often unhelpful, asking obvious questions. This has been the most terrible customer service experience I've encountered. I am hesitant to link my credit card to Ibotta since there is no way to contact them if issues arise. Ibotta needs to provide a phone number for customer support. While the app is good, it's unfair that they can evade accountability with generic emails.

Hello, I recently tried to set up an Ibotta account on my Android app. After what I believe was the final step, a message appeared saying my account was created successfully but was blocked due to "suspicious activity." My new phone number, [redacted], was not associated with any prior account. My previous number, [redacted], was only used for less than 24 hours before I got this new phone. I'm attempting to withdraw my earnings and close my account to avoid monthly service charges as I no longer use it. My total earnings are $57.80. While trying to close the account, I was prompted for a password that I did not have. After trying to change my password on a computer, it seems a new account was created. Unfortunately, I can't access my old account now, and the new one doesn't show my balance of $57.80. I just want to retrieve my earnings and deactivate my account.

A few days ago, I contacted support about my Ibotta account problem. I signed up for Ibotta a few years back, but I never really used it. The email I used to register is no longer active; it got hacked, and I can't access it anymore. I need to update my email to my current one to access my available funds for withdrawal. I'm experiencing an issue with Ibotta stating that the cell phone number I provided is not linked to my account. This could be due to a mistype during registration or possibly a security breach. No funds have been taken, so it seems more likely to be a typo. Nonetheless, I'm concerned it could be a scam. I previously redeemed $50 without issue, and I now have $57 in my account waiting to be cashed out. Since my phone number and recent switch from Android to iPhone may be causing the problem, I am unable to access my earnings. I attempted to use Ibotta Pay for the first time in August at Walmart. I entered the amount of $47.95, which generated a code on my phone. Despite multiple attempts by the cashier and manager to process the transaction, it was unsuccessful. Eventually, I paid with a different card. However, I later discovered a charge for Walmart on my credit card statement from Ibotta Pay, resulting in double payment. When checking the Ibotta app, I found the $47.95 marked as unspent. I am unsure how to proceed to get the charge refunded to my credit card.

Five years ago when I signed up, I unintentionally used a phone number I no longer have access to. I am trying to update my account with my current phone number, but I mistakenly provided the wrong previous number. Despite contacting support via email with what I believed to be the correct old email and my new phone number, the issue persists. Last week, I attempted to redeem a Walmart receipt from 8-23-19 for Angel Soft Bathroom Tissue 12 Roll, costing $6.12 labeled as AS 12 JR on the receipt.
