Hello,
I am Aila R. Cruvinel, an Eharmony subscriber from Alfenas - MG. I am encountering an issue as I cannot recall the email address linked to my account. I have my password but not the associated email address. Recently, I created a Yandex email specifically for the dating site, but I lost access to it after backing up my cell phone. Unfortunately, I am unable to retrieve the necessary information to log in. My primary email is [redacted], and I am willing to provide my ID for verification purposes. I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Thank you,
Aila R. Cruvinel

Last weekend, I created a factory backup on my cell phone, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of all my data, including emails. When I initially signed up for Eharmony, I used a separate email to keep my dating activities separate. Due to the backup, I couldn't recall the email associated with my Eharmony account and couldn't access it. I reached out to Eharmony's administrator via my main email and received a response after two days, resolving the issue. I want to commend Eharmony for being the top dating site globally, showcasing reliability and efficiency. A big thank you to the Eharmony administrator and their impeccable customer service. A.C.

I've noticed many blog posts where people mention feeling overwhelmed by messages. It's been a month since I paid a significant amount for eharmony, but only two people have viewed my profile. I've reached out to almost all my matches with no responses. It's frustrating that I have to pay to see if my messages have been read. I'm unsure if there's a glitch with my subscription as it seems like my messages aren't being received or my profile isn't visible.
Either way, it's disheartening. I hope I can get the most out of my subscription. I understand that results aren't guaranteed, but I expected at least one response out of the 40+ messages I've sent to people who seemed interesting to me.

I recently fell victim to a scam involving a man named James Latif Dickerson on eHarmony. He claimed to be based in Montreal, Quebec, but his actual work was in Orange, California at JLDdental.com. He provided me with his driver's license and passport, but they were not valid in California. Concerned he may be using someone else's identity, I contacted the Anaheim police with no success. James asked me to help him with taxes in Dubai to transfer money back to California but has not refunded me, citing various excuses. I suspect illegal activities, especially as his LinkedIn profile seems legitimate. His daughter, Janet Dickerson, also spoke to me by phone from California. I worry they may be working together. He claimed to have deleted his eHarmony account but asked for my password to help me delete mine. I'm unable to verify if he is still active on the platform. I want to report his daughter in Montreal but lack her postal code. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

As a new premium member for less than 3 weeks, I have encountered the disappointing termination of 11 of my matches already. This represents a significant portion of all my matches. I want to report two specific matches that have shown red flags during my interactions with them. Both individuals have used a Nigerian phrase in our conversations, saying “I am glad to read from you.” Moreover, when I spoke with the first match over the phone, they seemed to be disguising their African accent despite claiming to be white. These matches, Alex, 68 from Baltimore, MD, and Philip, 62 from Columbus, OH, have misrepresented themselves with pictures of white men. As the self-proclaimed #1 Trusted Site, I urge you to verify your matches to prevent other women from being disappointed and possibly exploited. I had hoped to meet educated and genuine men on your platform, but my experience so far has been disheartening, especially considering the premium membership cost. Sincerely, Linda Langley

This website's services have deeply disappointed me. It seems like a waste of both time and money. I doubt many honest and hardworking individuals benefit from this platform. Partnering with someone who neglects their health and is significantly overweight does not interest me. I feel this site fails to acknowledge the potential dangers of interacting with mentally unstable individuals. It's concerning how this platform preys on unsuspecting users for financial gain, providing false hope in finding a partner. I regret not heeding the warnings about this site's deceptive practices. It's appalling how eHarmony misleads and harms its users. Taking legal action against this company for emotional distress seems necessary. I demand the immediate termination of my association with this damaging site.

Hello,
I recently reactivated my paid subscription after being away from the site for a few years. I uploaded new photos and updated my profile. Last week, I had to retake the profiling questionnaire when updating my email address. Although I didn't mind retaking it, I closed my account with the understanding that if I rejoined, I would retake the test. However, when I logged in last night, my old profile was active instead of asking me to retake the test.
Today, about 8 hours after renewing my subscription, I am not receiving any matches. Despite setting my preferences broadly, I am not getting any matches. I am unsure if my initial questionnaire information is on my account and if so, which one it is - the initial one or the recent one I took.
I am concerned about the lack of matches and would like to know if there is a delay in the matching process. If so, how long should I expect to wait for matches? Lastly, I would like to inquire about the refund options if the matching algorithm is unable to find suitable matches for my profile.
Thank you for addressing my concerns.

Hello, I'm Giuseppina Cali.
Confirmation Number: [redacted]
I purchased the Standard Plan for 6 months with 3 payments of $65.90. I see that the charge of $65.90 was processed on the given day. However, I did not agree to continue the subscription or the additional payments. As a pensioner, I only wanted to try this dating service briefly. I am having trouble logging into my account, and I demand a refund for the unauthorized charge.
Please provide evidence that I agreed to pay $65.90 for 3 months. I have been unable to access my account despite multiple attempts with my email and password. I insist on a refund as soon as possible, as money is tight for me. If this issue is not resolved promptly, I will escalate it to my bank. Thank you.

Hello, I purchased a subscription last year for my son, Ben R. ([redacted]). Initially, I specified to the representative that it was a three-part gift with three payment installments only.
I noticed that I have been charged for two additional installments and contacted an agent who cancelled the account to prevent the third payment. The agent suggested I reach out via email to request a refund for the September and October charges. Although the agent didn't find a request to not auto-renew, during the first purchase, I clearly stated it was a three-month gift. I kindly ask for a refund of these two charges to the credit card used for the initial three-month gift purchase.
Thank you,
Karen R.

I am not upset with eHarmony; I fell victim to a scam by a man I matched with named Floyd. Since then, my life has been incredibly difficult, and I'm entering my third rehab stint. Any evidence of my interaction with him would be greatly appreciated to support my claim for a refund from Capital One. I hope to ensure that he is not defrauding others online. Sharing this information is difficult for me, as I've been trying to move forward from this traumatic experience. Having lost everything last month and even becoming homeless, I am determined to resolve this situation. I kindly ask for assistance in obtaining proof for my dispute. Thank you for your support.

Hello, I wanted to share a touching story with you to pass along to the team at eharmony. My name is George Foundas, and in [redacted], I met my partner on your dating site. Four years later, we are happily living together and recently welcomed our beautiful son, Arhan, in December. During her pregnancy, my partner Toula was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, preventing her from receiving treatment until after the baby was born. Despite a challenging journey that included complications with chemotherapy, our love and resilience have seen us through. Toula and our baby are now back home, ready to face the future together. We anticipate more treatment ahead, but we are grateful that eharmony brought us together, creating a strong bond that has endured even the toughest of times. Thank you for introducing me to such an incredible and kind-hearted partner.

I would like to update my age to 63. When I tried to do it online, I was prompted to call, but the wait times are too long. I'm disappointed with the screening process on eHarmony. Having met my ex-husband on the site when it was more reliable, I now encounter questionable matches. The service is costly, and it's frustrating when matches don't match their profiles. It seems unfair to paying customers. The lack of assistance for clients on the East Coast is inconvenient, and the long wait times for help are unacceptable. eHarmony's quality of service has declined, and I regret committing to a year. As a long-time supporter of eHarmony, I hope they consider improving their vetting process and customer service. Thank you for your attention.

A couple of weeks ago, I visited EH and was prompted to complete additional questions to add more details to my profile. As I proceeded with this, I noticed that the questions seemed to be asking for information similar to what I had provided when I initially signed up over 10 years ago. Now, when I try to access my account, it keeps directing me to continue with the registration questions. Despite being busy, I haven't been able to address this issue or use EH, even though my credit card has been charged. Can you please clarify what has happened to my EH account and help me regain access to my matches? Thank you.

I wanted to share my experience about a man named Richard, 63, from London. He goes by the name Richard Solvaska and claimed to be Anglo Ukrainian working in Cape Town, then later in London. Richard asked me to buy him phone vouchers and later asked for money due to various reasons like an accident at work and issues with the IRS. Unfortunately, I fell victim to his scam and lost £[redacted]. I have reported him to the police, but he has not returned the money as promised. Beware of Richard, as he is a skilled scammer targeting women for their money. I hope my story helps others avoid being deceived by him.

My name is Maria Barreto, and I reside in Massachusetts. I signed up for an eharmony subscription on Saturday, October 10th, expecting to pay $12 monthly. To my surprise, my bank was charged $[redacted] the next day, which I found unacceptable. Due to my long working hours at the hospital from 6:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., it's been challenging to connect with customer service during the different time zone. Please contact me via email at [redacted] or phone at [redacted] to promptly cancel my membership, refund the $[redacted], and rectify this issue with my Visa ending in [redacted]. I have already informed my bank about this discrepancy. Thank you. Maria Barreto.

I received an email regarding being charged for the eHarmony Incognito feature on my account ending in [redacted]. However, I closed this account last year and am confused about why I received this email. After checking with my credit card company, I confirmed that the $24.99 fee was not charged. I also attempted to verify this fee by reopening my account, but did not complete the process as I do not wish to reopen it. Please confirm if this email was an error or provide me with the necessary access to prevent any charges.
Thank you,

Good morning,
I discovered that my 19-year-old son, who has Autism, accidentally opened a new account with your company. Upon checking his emails with him, he was surprised to find that he had unknowingly paid £[redacted].99 for a year's subscription on 11/12 November [redacted], despite having his other account still active. He was confused by an email from e-harmony regarding his renewal on 28th November and did not realize it would renew automatically. Could you please assist in canceling the subscription started on the 11th/12th November and provide a full refund of £[redacted].99? This unexpected charge has significantly impacted his account. My son's name is Jack Talbott, Order ID MNSDYXBBXX...DOC NU [redacted]31.
Kind regards,
Mrs. D Talbott

On the 28th, $29.85 was deducted from my bank account by your administration. I have not been a paying customer for over 2 years. I would like an explanation. I recall briefly visiting the site during a free trial offer that might be the cause. However, this feels like false advertising. In recent months, I experienced the loss of family members, and have been preoccupied, hence not monitoring my bank account. Please refund the unauthorized charge promptly. My previous email address, [redacted], is inactive. I canceled my membership more than 2 years ago. Your swift attention to this issue is appreciated.

My experience with eHarmony has been disappointing. I have encountered numerous scammers on the platform and have become skilled at identifying them. It's disheartening to see this issue persist on eHarmony. Although my membership is valid until September [redacted], I no longer feel motivated to search for a meaningful connection. Each time I engage with a potential match, I end up uncovering their fraudulent intentions, either on my own or through notifications from eHarmony. I have estimated having around 40-50 fraudulent interactions since joining. This has caused me distress, and I am now considering discontinuing my membership and seeking compensation for my experience.

I recently purchased a 3-month premium subscription to view profiles privately. Despite paying for this feature, I am unable to access it.
Following an initial group of unsatisfactory matches, I have not received any further suggestions. The few matches available were significantly older than the age range I specified.
I am currently disappointed with the service and unless immediate improvements are made, I would appreciate a refund. I have come across multiple complaints online and also filed one with the Better Business Bureau.
Although an automated message from GetHuman mentioned a lack of information regarding what actions I want eHarmony to take, this is not the case.
