In late February, I discovered another year's subscription charge on my credit card bill, which surprised me. Although I should have contacted your company immediately, I was dealing with my grandmother's recent passing and funeral arrangements, causing emotional distress. My 12-month $[redacted] Australian eHarmony subscription automatically renewed without any prior notification, invoice, or receipt. The payment was deducted from my account on April 8, [redacted]. I attempted to email them on April 9, but the email bounced back.
My investigation revealed that contacting eHarmony from Australia is challenging. Consequently, I reached out to their Singapore office after unsuccessful attempts with the American email.
I have already canceled my subscription and am now waiting for a refund. Any assistance you can offer would be highly appreciated. Thank you.

I would like to cancel my subscription immediately. I have only been using the service for a few months and have found it to be frustrating and disappointing. I have already paid through January, but I am not receiving any benefit from the service. I am requesting a prorated refund for the remaining 7 months and would like it processed by next week. I noticed that the profiles lack personal descriptions beyond preset questions, which may not be very informative. It would be beneficial to include each person's sun sign to establish potential compatibility based on astrology. This would prevent wasted time messaging incompatible matches. I am curious why this information is omitted. After joining recently, I have not received any messages yet, which is disappointing. Could you elaborate on the criteria used to select matches? Is it solely based on location and some irrelevant questions? I expressed my interest in astrology under "my leisure time" as there was no other appropriate section. It would be reassuring to know if patience is key in this process.

Hello, I am Melinda Meacham. I wanted to clarify that I did not intend for my account to be automatically renewed. Despite trying to cancel it, I believe the renewal went through. I am currently on vacation in Alaska with limited internet access. I kindly request a refund for the renewal fees as I am dissatisfied with the matches I have received. Many of the individuals in the senior male compatibility pool do not respond fully, and some have been removed for security reasons by eharmony. I've been using eharmony for almost a year, but unfortunately, I haven't had any meaningful connections. There haven't been any matches from Denver or even Colorado. Interestingly, now that my subscription has ended, I've been matched with someone from Ohio and someone from TX. However, I can't communicate with them without an active subscription. It's frustrating that potential connections only appear after the subscription ends. It would be helpful if eharmony could extend my subscription for a day or a month so I can see if Carl from TX, who seems like a perfect match, can give me some feedback.

This is my second attempt to interact with others on the site, not seeking marriage but simply to connect. Unfortunately, I have had no success in meeting anyone or receiving responses when I reach out. The frequency of receiving profiles is also lacking, with only 2-3 profiles weekly instead of daily. After reading negative reviews on consumer affairs, I am requesting a refund for the remaining four months of my membership. The service does not match the advertised standards, lacking the necessary active members. It has been frustrating to feel deceived by the company's marketing tactics. I hope for a prompt refund of the unused membership time back to my credit card.

I have expanded my demographics, considered different scenarios, and completed my profile. However, after paying a significant fee, I am disappointed by the lack of available matches on the site. The few matches I received have not engaged with me even after reaching out with friendly messages. I am not expecting perfection, just the chance to connect and make some friends. Compared to other platforms, the quantity and quality of matches here are lacking, making me feel like I have been overcharged for the service. It is frustrating that I do not have the option to browse profiles myself, as the suggested matches are not leading to any meaningful conversations. A trial month option would have been helpful before committing financially to the service.

Hello, I accidentally signed up for eHarmony while intending to join Match.com. After realizing my error, I contacted eHarmony to cancel my subscription, but I was informed to wait until it expires in August. They are charging me $49 per month. In my attempt to seek a refund through a third-party website claiming to handle eHarmony refunds and complaints, I fell victim to a scam. The fraudulent company, CheapCoin or a similar name, started deducting money from my bank account daily. I urgently need eHarmony to investigate this scam site and facilitate the refund process. I have not used the eHarmony site since discovering my mistake four months ago.

I closed my eHarmony account over a month ago, following the proper steps on their site. I haven't used their services since. However, I was still charged on 7/12/18 and likely in June after I closed the account. If I don't receive a full refund by 7/19/18, my card issuer will handle the dispute. I feel frustrated and misled. I tried contacting eHarmony but got nowhere. I'm considering taking further action against them. I believe that online dating services should be free. Love should not have a price tag. Being unable to see pictures or send messages without a paid subscription is unreasonable. Requiring payment just to view potential matches without even seeing their pictures is discouraging for users genuinely looking for connections. I have encountered this issue on your site multiple times. The advertisements promoting success stories do not align with my own experience of not receiving any responses. I would like to cancel the subscription for Agim Hadergjonaj. He has been unable to access his account and has not used the service for several months. He only intended to have a three-month subscription and assumed it expired when he couldn't log in. I allowed him to use my card for the initial three months only.
