On March 18, [redacted], I intended to buy a 1-month subscription at 50% off for around $15, but mistakenly ended up with a 1-year premium subscription with the first month discounted. Upon receiving the confirmation email showing a charge of $[redacted].00, I promptly contacted e-Harmony's customer service to explain the error and request a refund. My request was made immediately after the purchase, and I find it challenging to cover such an unexpected expense for something I didn't plan for. Unfortunately, eHarmony has not been understanding and is unwilling to refund me. Despite my attempts to escalate the issue by requesting a call from a manager or supervisor, I have been unsuccessful. Communication by phone seems unavailable.

Hello,
On April 9, [redacted], I was charged $[redacted] unexpectedly on my account even though I had canceled it. The payment went through PayPal, and I believe there was an error in the process. I have already tried to reverse this charge by sending emails today since it's time-sensitive, with a resolution window of 3 days. Please contact me at [redacted] to urgently address this issue. Can I please get a confirmation number for this matter? Thank you.

I urge all social media platforms to familiarize themselves with the dangers of narcissists, specifically covert narcissists. They are often perceived as the most treacherous individuals, embodying pure evil. Many people underestimate the harm they can cause, particularly the covert type.
Not all narcissists fit the stereotypical attention-seeking mold. It is crucial to raise awareness about the existence of covert narcissists. I implore platforms to include information about them since they can cause devastating physical and emotional harm. I personally encountered one on social media who subjected me to heinous treatment and attempted to harm me without my realization.
It is essential to learn about covert narcissists to protect oneself from their manipulative ways. They operate insidiously, gradually dismantling their victims over time. Once you are informed about them, you can defend against their abuse. Awareness is key in safeguarding against these malevolent individuals.

Incident #[redacted], previously resolved last week, has recurred and requires immediate attention. Yesterday, another unauthorized deduction of $[redacted].00 was taken from my bank ATM/Debit Card. Resolving this issue last week already took three days to return the money to my account. This situation is clearly fraudulent and unacceptable as it leaves me with no funds. The deduction for eharmony, a service I never signed up for, is a mistake. I urgently need the $[redacted].00 refunded back into my account today. Failure to do so will result in reporting the issue to the FTC. The lack of access to a customer service representative by phone is disappointing. Requesting a chat submission for $1 is not a suitable solution. Please refund the money promptly. For inquiries, contact me at [redacted]. - J. O'Hare

I enrolled in a membership on June 15, [redacted], paying $42.60 for the next three months. I am requesting a refund of $42.60 and wish to cancel my membership. My decision to cancel is due to the limited number of "matches" within a 20-mile range of my location. I am disappointed to only see the same six "matches" daily and not receiving responses when reaching out. I expected a wider range of options on this dating platform, not repetitive profiles that do not lead to interactions. Kindly process the $42.60 refund to my account as I am dissatisfied with the service provided by eharmony.

Subject: Subscription Cancellation and Full Refund Request on Eharmony
Recently, I signed up for an Eharmony account and underwent their personality test. I encountered questions where none of the answers seemed to align with my choices, leading to some concerning results. The outcome highlighted a high score in "manipulative childhood influence," which I find inaccurate and unsettling. I believe being labeled as manipulative could misrepresent me to potential matches on the platform.
Therefore, I wish to terminate my subscription and request a full refund. The initial payment made was $85.96, and I am adamant about receiving the entire amount back. It is disheartening to pay for a service that could potentially paint a false image of my character to others seeking a genuine connection. My name is Simon Fields, and my Profile ID is EH62DXG5.

My Yahoo email account, linked to E Harmony, has been compromised. The password was changed, and I can't access it because I didn't have a recovery phone number or email address set up. I forgot my old password. I want to update my email on E Harmony to [redacted] to regain access. I haven't paid my subscription yet and won't until I can use my account. I'm willing to pay once my email address is updated. I've already contacted tech support for my Yahoo account to no avail. I can provide my credit card information if needed.

My account was hacked, and I want it permanently deleted. I canceled the subscription on June 27, [redacted], but it was reinstated without my consent. To avoid future charges, please contact me at [redacted]6 or [redacted] as soon as possible. I would like to confirm if they were required to pay £12.99 for the premium membership to keep using this account. Thank you.

My name is Michael Dupre. I recently noticed that I was charged $[redacted].57 for a full year of E Harmony on 7/29/[redacted], even though I thought I signed up for a $19/month trial. I called to cancel but was informed that no refunds were possible. Shockingly, on 8/30/[redacted], I was charged another $[redacted].56 for an additional year with no option for a refund. E Harmony then sent me an email today, after only one year, prompting me to renew, despite my minimal usage due to being scammed out of $[redacted].03 within the first month. I wish to have my money refunded to my original debit card, as I have meticulously documented all transactions on my Chase account. How many individuals have been similarly exploited by E Harmony?

I have been with eHarmony for almost 2 months now. However, for the past 10 days, I have not received any new profiles, making it seem like my account is inactive. I have already canceled the renewal to avoid being charged unnecessarily. I am disappointed with their service as they kept matching me with younger individuals who live far away, despite my preference for older men within a 60-mile radius. I am no longer interested in their services, so I would like my membership to be canceled without any further charges to my credit card. Thank you. - Debbie H.

I am confused about the monthly charges I am receiving from eharmony. I have never agreed to or filled out a contract with them. The phone number listed on my bank statement isn't working, so I can't reach out to them. I am 79 years old and have been charged monthly for a while now. I distinctly remember canceling payments of over $[redacted], but they have not stopped. I didn't check my statements regularly due to various reasons, but I did not authorize any renewal of payments, especially for a service I haven't used. I kindly request a full refund as I am living on a fixed income and am not interested in eharmony. I suspect this might be a scam.

My son's subscription was puchased by me as a kind gesture since he couldn't afford it. Unfortunately, a year's subscription fee was deducted at once. I have attempted to contact customer service without success. I have stopped future payments, but I am requesting a complete cancellation and a refund since he never wanted the subscription and isn't using it. The payment was made from my card under a different name. I urge you to promptly cancel the subscription, refund the remaining balance, and reconsider your annual payment policy. It's frustrating to face challenges reaching out to your customer support or ending a subscription. His profile ID is EHV566LF, and his name is Stephen Loizou. I, A Loizou, his mother, am seeking your assistance in refunding the outstanding amount. Thank you.

I recently connected with a match on eHarmony named Linda Phalen, and we transitioned from chatting on the site to texting. As our conversations progressed, I started to notice some red flags. It seemed like the responses were too perfect and almost scripted, leading me to suspect there might be someone else involved. After sharing a video of my late wife's funeral, I had a strange feeling and sought verification about Linda's identity. She mentioned her affiliation with the Sonny Bono Memorial Foundation and Theater through her deceased husband's role as a sound manager, but when I asked for her ID, she redirected me to a man who insisted she was genuine. This abrupt change in conversation made me uneasy. I reached out to different agencies for help, but nothing concrete came up. I'm still waiting for Linda to call me back as promised, but I can't shake the feeling that something isn't right. It's a concerning situation, and I'm unsure how to proceed. - R.S., eHarmony user

I would like to address a concern I have. A member from eHarmony has invited me to share her timeshare unit for an out-of-town visit next month during her college break. We live about [redacted] miles apart and plan to meet halfway, but we need to finalize the details. This arrangement came about after a few brief email exchanges, which felt rushed to me. I proposed a video date, but she felt it wouldn't be productive. I'm considering asking for the address, if she arranged a timeshare swap, and details on the broker she used. She wasn't aware of the city I would choose, although there was an obvious midpoint. How can I verify the validity of this without tipping her off, possibly by checking with the broker about our planned dates?
Thank you.

I would like eharmony to cancel my upcoming auto-renewal and notify me once it's been done. I no longer wish to be charged for another year, starting from December. I am discontinuing my subscription with this dating site. I have been trying to reach out via phone without success, so please handle this request promptly. If any additional charges appear, I will involve my credit card company to address the issue. Rest assured, I keep records of all my communication attempts with your customer service.

I have submitted 2 inquiries through the EH platform but have not received any response within the promised 48 hours, as indicated in the confirmation email from the customer care team. My concern is regarding a subscription I signed up for during a recent monthly promotion at a reduced price. I was under the assumption that the charges would be applied monthly, but to my surprise, $[redacted] was deducted from my account. This has caused me significant financial distress. I have not utilized the platform and I am requesting a refund or a partial refund. Thank you, Dom.

I unintentionally sent too many messages on eharmony. Consequently, I am unable to respond to chat requests as the platform restricts me to five messages until the match responds first. Despite receiving chat requests, some matches may not realize they need to initiate the conversation. This situation hinders my chance to interact with potential matches. It would be beneficial if eharmony could communicate to matches the requirement to start a chat to facilitate better communication.

I am disappointed I did not receive the correct requested age group I asked for today. It seems my details were not considered. The photos provided are of women from the 70s, which does not meet my request. If you cannot fulfill my requests, I prefer a full refund of today's fees paid. I find the $2 charge for Just Answer to be a waste of time with no helpful response. I would like an Australian telephone number to address my concerns. At this point, I am canceling all plans and request a full refund.
