I subscribed for 6 months and disabled auto-renewal. I was charged $[redacted].00 on Nov 20 & 25, despite minimal usage as evidenced by my login history. I attempted to stop the Nov 20 charge and filed a dispute through PayPal. Unfortunately, eharmony was unable to assist since I couldn't access my account.
PayPal has been billed $[redacted].00 for a service I only used for 1 or 2 months out of the 6 I paid for. I am seeking a refund for everything except the initial $[redacted].00 payment.

While signing up for a membership, I mistakenly switched my payment method midway through the process from my First Choice Community Credit Union Debit Card to my Mastercard which caused issues. Subsequently, five transactions on my debit card were declined, but the payment for the 6-month membership did go through using my Mastercard as originally planned. I have no intention of making any further payments through my First Choice Community Debit Card, and I will be cancelling my eharmony membership before it renews in June to avoid any future charges on my Mastercard. Kindly confirm that future billing will not occur on my debit card. Thank you.

I recently attempted to update the name on my account from Christine to Sweet and Sassy. Many users seem to use nicknames for safety and comfort reasons. Although I successfully changed the name, I noticed a red dot next to it. The pictures I added initially had a similar red dot, but that issue was resolved. I am still receiving messages that incorrectly address me as Christine. To address this, I have temporarily hidden my profile. I would appreciate any assistance in ensuring my updated name is accurately reflected across my account. Thank you.

Hello! My name is Sandor Mailath. I am requesting a full refund for my account. I tried to delete my profile and have not used the service for over a year. Another full year's subscription has been charged to me. Please refund the payment promptly. I urge you to stop deducting my hard-earned money. The email linked to my account is [redacted] Please reverse the payment and reimburse me in full. Thank you for your cooperation. Sincerely, Sandor Mailath.

Hello, I'm James Tilley, and I recently noticed a charge of $[redacted].48 on my PayPal account on December 28th, [redacted], for a two-year membership on E Harmony. Despite my attempts to cancel the subscription before payment was processed, I was informed that refunds are not possible once payment is made, especially in certain states and in Canada where I reside. I terminated my account two days after signing up and before any payment was made. I'm a 68-year-old retired individual living on a fixed pension, and this unexpected charge has put a strain on my finances. I am requesting a refund as I stopped the subscription before the payment was processed. It is important for me to resolve this matter because the amount deducted significantly impacts my monthly budget. Your assistance in addressing this issue promptly would be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, James M. Tilley. [Redacted], Windsor, Ontario, Canada, N8T 3A2. Profile ID: EHY28XY7.

I am James Tilley, and my Profile ID is EHY28XY7. I noticed a payment of $[redacted].48 was taken from my PayPal account on December 28th, [redacted]. Despite reaching out multiple times, I was informed that in certain States and in Canada, where I reside, refunds are not possible after a payment is processed. When I canceled my account before any payment was made, I expected no charges. However, the payment was deducted only two days after I quit the service. It's crucial to emphasize that I terminated my account and canceled all services prior to any payment being processed, as your website mandates. As a 68-year-old retiree living on a fixed pension, this amount is significant to me, especially for a subscription I ended swiftly. I seek a refund as the funds were taken after I had canceled everything in time. I would appreciate your prompt attention to rectify this situation, as this financial error impacts me greatly. Thank you, James M. Tilley.

Hello, my name is James Tilley, and my Profile ID is EHY28XY7. I observed that a payment of $[redacted].48 was deducted from my PayPal account on December 28th, [redacted], for a two-year membership with E Harmony, which I mistakenly signed up for. Despite contacting your support team multiple times, I was informed that refunds are not possible in certain states and in my location, Canada. When I canceled my account upon realizing the error, no payment had been processed; only recently, the payment was processed by PayPal. Prior to this payment, I managed to cancel all subscriptions and payments on the E Harmony website, indicating that payments can only be canceled before they are processed. As my payment was processed on December 28th, [redacted], I had not requested a refund as no payment was made at the time of cancellation. Following the termination of my account two days after signing up, I find myself short of $[redacted].48, a significant amount considering my limited fixed pension as a 68-year-old retired individual. I would like a refund as the payment should not have been deducted since I had terminated my account and canceled all payments before the transaction took place. I am confused by the situation and hope for a prompt resolution. Thank you, James M. Tilley.

To whom it may concern,
I am writing to share my recent experience with e-Harmony. As a 73-year-old widow who recently lost her husband, I turned to this platform in hopes of finding companionship during the holidays. Despite paying for a one-month subscription, I encountered difficulties navigating the site and was unable to access any profiles or upload my own information.
I attempted to cancel my subscription to avoid automatic renewal but faced challenges in doing so. Unfortunately, I was charged for another month, causing unexpected financial strain as I try to manage on my own after handling my late husband's expenses.
I kindly request your understanding and ask for assistance in resolving this matter. I am sincerely hoping for a resolution that considers my circumstances and the challenges I faced while using the service.
Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
C.D.

I am requesting contact information for eHarmony's Human Resources or another suitable department or individual I could speak with regarding the potential need for a scam scout at eHarmony. I have been using various dating sites, including eHarmony, for several years and unfortunately have fallen victim to scams. I strongly believe that I could provide valuable assistance in identifying potential scammers on your platform to prevent them from targeting other users. Despite being a paying eHarmony subscriber for the past few weeks, I have encountered at least two suspicious profiles that I believe to be fake. Your consideration of my offer to help enhance safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on eHarmony is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I recently expressed my concerns regarding my Eharmony membership, but I feel like my feedback is not being acknowledged, and it seems like the quality of service is not a priority. I appreciate the efforts of customer service to extend my membership by three months, but it doesn't address my main issue. I have shared that I am dissatisfied with the quality of matches on the site and find it challenging to find suitable candidates. Initially, I believed I could cancel within 72 hours, but upon reading the terms, I discovered this was not possible. I politely requested to terminate my contract due to the service not meeting my expectations. Customer service advised removing all filters to broaden my options, which I interpret as settling for less while paying a substantial amount. Despite adjusting my profile and removing a photo, my interactions are minimal, with only occasional likes, often from unsuitable matches. Some individuals who reach out are not a match either, leading to disappointing experiences.

I have recently communicated my concerns to Eharmony about my membership, but I feel like my feedback is not being acknowledged. Despite the additional months added to my service by customer service, my main point remains unaddressed. I have expressed my disappointment in the quality of candidates available on the site, making it difficult for me to see the value in continuing my search. Initially, I believed I could cancel within ** hours, only to find out later that this was not the case. Despite my efforts, I have been unable to cancel my subscription. I am disappointed that customer service advised me to remove all filters to make a connection, essentially asking me to settle for less. After modifying my profile and pictures, I still receive minimal engagement, often from unsuitable matches. I am requesting a refund and cancellation of my subscription.

In an alarming update, an individual warned back in [redacted] about Mauro Emilio Pennini, who is currently active under various aliases like Vincent Mercer, Vincent Ashcroft, Solo, and Luca Rossi. Residing in Harrow, UK, he deceives people on dating sites by claiming to be ex-MI6 or UK Special Forces. This con artist is a hacker and professional swindler, using different personas to manipulate individuals. Another person expressed gratitude for a post on GetHuman that prevented them from falling victim to this conman on eHarmony last January. He now operates from the Sunshine Coast in Queensland, Australia, misleading others by posing as an ex-SAS officer or working for the Australian Federal Police. Renowned as Vincent Mercer, his real identity traces back to Mauro Emilio Pennini, known for illegal activities leading to imprisonment and subsequent deportation from the USA. This warning seeks to protect other women from his deceitful schemes and urges caution to anyone who might encounter him online.

I have additional information to share about an individual named Vincent Lewis Mercer, also known as Vincent Ashcroft, Luca Rossi, and Vincent Solo, who is actively using dating sites in the UK, specifically Match.com, as of February [redacted]. I can confirm that he is a professional con artist and hacker. During my year-long relationship with him, I discovered through various sources that his real name is Mauro Emilio Pennini, with firearms records in the US and Australia. He currently resides in Harrow. Beware of his false claims of being ex-UK Special Forces, MI6, or working in security industries. It's essential to warn other women about him to prevent falling for his deceitful ways.
I recently came across a post on GetHuman warning about Vincent Mercer, and it was eye-opening. This conman was active on eHarmony in January **** and now resides in Queensland, Australia, on the Sunshine Coast. He fabricates stories about being ex-SAS and working for the Australian Federal Police on terrorism threats. Please be cautious and steer clear of him if you encounter him online.
Regarding his legal history, Mauro Emilio Pennini has a troubling past, including imprisonment in the US for firearms violations and subsequent deportation. His name change to Mercer can be verified by searching the Australian ABN ** *** *** ***. While in a relationship with me, he deceitfully obtained a significant sum of money and engaged with other women online simultaneously. I urge any platform he may be using to close his account and warn other women who may have interacted with him. Let's prevent more women from falling victim to his deceptive tactics.

Greetings, I am Angela T. I signed up on your website to find friends, but I did not subscribe, purchase anything, or provide my bank details for withdrawals. I checked my bank statements and noticed withdrawals of €29.43 in January, €29.24, and €14.18. Please take action to stop these charges and refund the money deducted over these months. If this is not resolved, I will report your company to the authorities. Thank you. My email is [redacted] if you wish to respond.

I canceled my subscription three days ago, yet I noticed I was still charged on 3/22/[redacted]. I am also worried about the monthly fee of $[redacted], which I did not agree to. I feel like I am being taken advantage of and I would like the charges to be examined and refunded back to me. I have informed my bank to stop any payments to eHarmony moving forward.
I intend to file a complaint with the BBB to look into the issues of false advertisement. Signed, Ronald T. Morrison.

I urgently need to access my account to cancel some subscriptions due to incorrect charges on my bank account. If the team can assist in canceling subscriptions, I would appreciate a confirmation email. Thank you.

I canceled my Eharmony subscription a month ago, effective on 3/3/[redacted]. Yesterday, however, I noticed a pending charge of $77.70 from Eharmony. Despite attempting to resolve this issue online, I was informed that Eharmony will not issue a refund but will only end my subscription in June [redacted]. All the phone numbers I found online to contact Eharmony have been ineffective. I plan to dispute the charge once it is no longer pending since I canceled my subscription a month ago. I kindly request a phone call from a Eharmony customer service representative at my number [redacted] to address and resolve this matter promptly. I prefer to handle this over the phone rather than through emails.

Upon signing up, the $95 monthly renewal fee was unexpected to me. I have not utilized the service to reach out to anyone and recently discovered I am being charged monthly, not every six months or annually. I kindly request a refund since I have not made use of the service during my subscription. If there has been an error in the pricing, and the actual cost is not $95 per month, I would greatly appreciate a refund if feasible. I was unaware of the monthly charge and find it to be quite expensive.
Thank you,

Hello eHarmony Team,
I am reaching out as a user of your platform. Three days ago, I subscribed to your website. Today at 4:46 pm, I purchased a premium membership for the first month at $57, with three additional months of $57 each to follow. Shortly after using the eHarmony app for about 10 minutes to chat, a close friend emailed me a screenshot revealing that my profile had been suspended on eHarmony due to suspicious activity.
After making the payment, I received a message suspending my profile, which I believe is an unfair practice. I am requesting a refund for the full cost of my six-month membership due to this incident that occurred on April 11, [redacted]. This was my first time using the app and website, and the experience left me feeling embarrassed and violated.
I expect a response from your team regarding this issue. It's not only important for me to cancel my subscription but also to receive a refund for the unfortunate events that transpired on your platform.
