I signed up for eHarmony 3 days ago and I have encountered 2 concerns. I would like to request a cancellation and refund of my subscription. Firstly, I received an email from GetHuman regarding an issue I never reported, leading me to believe there may be a security breach on my account. Secondly, I received matches immediately, but after deleting some, I still received emails about those matches being new, causing confusion. Compared to other dating platforms I use, the selection seems limited on eHarmony. If these issues cannot be resolved, please cancel my account and refund the $[redacted].49 charged. Thank you, Susan S.

I bought a premium subscription to eHarmony on 11/19/21 at 6 p.m. After reading negative reviews about refund issues and learning of a 3-day cancellation window, I decided to cancel on 11/20/21 at 3 a.m. When I cancelled, a window appeared offering a modified program at $19.99 per month, cancel anytime post-subscription. Uncertain due to conflicting reviews and vague wording, I received an email shortly after stating my subscription had been changed to $19.99/month. The email mentioned continuing benefits after the current period ends but was unclear about potential upfront charges for a 3-month subscription at $39.95/month. I emailed them minutes before the modification offer to request a complete cancellation within my rescission period. The next day, I noticed blurred faces when logging in, presumably indicating account cancellation, although I await official confirmation from eHarmony.

On 11/26, I responded to an offer for a 3-month discounted membership at $14.99. I agreed, thinking it was $15 a month for three months. To my surprise, my credit card was charged $78.49. After reaching out to eHarmony, I learned I had unintentionally signed up for a 12-month membership through my small cell phone without realizing it. I have been discussing this with their customer service, but they insist I signed up for a year. I feel this is unfair as I never intended to commit for a year without trying the service first. I have only used the service for less than a day and now understand why I wanted a trial membership. I want my membership canceled, the $78 refunded, and I do not want to continue with the service. Can someone please help me with this situation?

I acknowledge my oversight for not researching eharmony thoroughly. I used to be a member and was unaware of the change in ownership. On a fixed income with social security, this service does not meet my expectations. Although I recently made the first payment, I understand I won't get a refund. I wish to avoid further charges for the $14 fee every three months for a year. Kindly assist me as this does not align with the eharmony I am familiar with. Thank you.

I am experiencing several issues with my eHarmony account that need urgent attention. Firstly, my billing statement has shown a charge of $[redacted].70 for the past 3 months, even though I only have one account. It appears that my information has been used to open a second account that I am being charged for. Secondly, I have forgotten my password after the computer where it was saved got hacked. Despite attempting to reset my password using my email "[redacted]," I do not receive any communication, making it impossible to log in. Lastly, I have not received any emails from eHarmony in the last 6 months, and I am puzzled by this sudden lack of communication. I am in need of serious assistance to resolve these issues promptly.

I would like to request the cancellation of my subscription as I am not using the site and have no plans of using it again. I originally asked for this subscription to be cancelled two months ago. I simply cannot afford it anymore, so I kindly ask for it to be canceled without any further offers or attempts to resolve the issue. Thank you.

I did not authorize these charges. I was expecting a response before being billed $[redacted].70 per month. I did not authorize recurring charges on eHarmony. I believe it was supposed to be $26.97 per month. Can I please get a refund of $[redacted].40 for the two months I was billed incorrectly? Please let me know. Thank you.

I recently joined eHarmony and purchased a six-month membership. I was disappointed to find that most of the potential matches I received were in their 50s. After adjusting the search criteria, I only got about 5 matches, which were not satisfactory. If I had known this beforehand, I wouldn't have signed up. I would like to cancel my account and receive a full refund promptly.

I am extremely stressed out because this charge is going to overdraft my account, which is the worst timing considering the recent power outages in my area. I have no edible food in my fridge, and I'm left with only $2, unable to even afford a simple meal like Ramen. I barely used the site for an hour before canceling, yet I see this charge. As the sole earner in my household, I cannot afford this mistake. Please prevent this from occurring again as I am already struggling to make ends meet.

On December 10th, [redacted], an unauthorized charge of $[redacted].99 for an EHarmony subscription was processed through Apple Pay on my account. The charge was initially declined twice by my bank, Wells Fargo, but was eventually approved. It is evident to me that my stepson, who was visiting at the time, initiated this charge. In the past, he has made unauthorized purchases totaling over $[redacted] on various websites using my phone. I did not intend to subscribe to EHarmony and am seeking a refund for this transaction.

Hello, I created my eharmony account two weeks ago on a Saturday, but I have been unable to log in since then. I suspect that I may have used the wrong email address during the setup. I have tried contacting your support team without success; the automated message mentioned that a response would be sent to the email associated with my account, to which I received none. I'm asking for assistance with the correct email linked to my account. I am disappointed by the lack of accessibility and would appreciate a refund if the issue persists. I have always been careful with entering my email information, and this experience has made me doubt the reliability of the website.

I have been attempting to contact through the phone numbers provided, but unfortunately, have been unsuccessful. I made a payment of $67.00 for a monthly membership but have been unable to access the service after the first day. Despite my efforts to reset my password due to forgetting the original one, I have not been able to log in after several attempts. I am seeking a refund for the initial month and would like to ensure that I am not being charged for additional months unknowingly. You can reach me via email at [redacted] or by phone at [redacted]. I would appreciate it if you could contact me to address the charges and discuss the difficulties I have faced in logging in. Thank you.

I contacted eHarmony by phone and spoke to a representative to request a one-time payment for a specific 6-month period. Despite paying a higher fee for this arrangement, I was automatically charged for another 6 months without consent. After reaching out to eHarmony, I received a partial refund for the extra charges but not the full amount. Unfortunately, when attempting to follow up, I encountered difficulties as their phone lines were not operational. I am still owed the remaining refund, as I made it clear during the initial call that I did not want a recurring payment setup. Even with guidance from my credit card company, I have struggled to resolve this issue with eHarmony. I would appreciate a prompt response to address this matter. - G. M.

I recently connected with a male user on eH, only to discover he was not who he claimed to be. After hacking my phone and computer, he obtained personal details like my name and location. To my surprise, he confessed in an email written in a different style that his identity was fake. The name "Vic" (58) is associated with the email [redacted], displaying the name Victor Ramirez, who pretends to be in CA but is actually Justin Paul Bacon from Manchester, New Hampshire, reachable at [redacted]. I used Intellius.Com to track him down and obtained information like photos, workplace, age, and even his wife's name, which I reported to my local police after feeling concerned about my safety and that of my family. They advised me to report this to eH for further investigation. Thank you.

Hello,
I signed up for E harmony on 12/31/21 and now want to cancel my subscription. Due to being dissatisfied with the service and losing my job, I cannot continue paying for it. I have received an email from E harmony regarding my account details and future payments. I appreciate your help in canceling my subscription and would like to confirm that the automatic renewal has been turned off. I have no plans to use the service beyond the current subscription period. Thank you.
Best,
Louraine

I have accounts in eHarmony under two emails, one under [redacted] with no personal information, and the other under [redacted] with all my details. The payment was charged to the first email, but my profile is under the second one. I tried to use the premium features from the [redacted] account but realized it was only a basic membership. I stopped the subscription on the first account. I want the two months of premium membership that I paid for transferred to the correct account. I have already disputed the charges with my bank for the erroneous billing. If eHarmony can credit the two months of premium membership to [redacted], I will drop the dispute.

I have already tried to contact you via email but I need to speak to a person. It's frustrating that I've been charged around $[redacted] for the past months when I canceled my subscription months ago. I only signed up for a free account, and you don't have my permission or bank details for automatic withdrawals. This has caused issues with my bank account. If I don't hear back or receive a phone number to talk to someone, I will contact my lawyer. Please respond by the end of today. Thank you.

I believe my eHarmony account was hacked. Someone changed my email and password without my permission. I still have an active subscription until October and would like to regain access to my account without incurring extra charges. The original email on the account is [redacted], and it was changed to [redacted]
Requesting assistance to rectify this matter promptly. Please contact me at the sarhardin email for any communication as the soundheart email is not mine. I'm eager to resume my search for a relationship. Unsure if my phone number [redacted] is linked to my account.
My birthday is August 24, [redacted], and the possibly outdated billing address is [redacted] Mckown Dr, Mansfield, TX [redacted]. Aware that I have moved since creating the account, the accuracy of the billing address may need verification.

Last night, I contacted customer service and had a frustrating experience with a representative who had difficulty communicating due to a strong accent. I called to inquire about canceling my subscription in Edinburgh. Despite expecting a full refund if canceled within three days, I was informed that policy only applies in the USA. I now have to pay £65 for the initial days but can cancel within 14 days to receive the remaining refund. I did not ask for the cancellation during the call, but the representative seemed to have misunderstood my instructions. As a journalist with The Sunday Times, clarity in communication is vital to me. I am dissatisfied with my eharmony experience and seek a full refund as I intended to evaluate the service during the free trial period. Please respond promptly. Feel free to visit my website at www.katiewoodtravel.com to verify my credentials.

I am writing to address the incorrect Collections notice I have received from your company. I have ceased using your service due to medical reasons following surgery. I kindly request you cease the harassment and drop the erroneous charges for services not utilized.
Your contact numbers are inactive, which raises concerns about your accessibility to other customers. The unprofessional billing approach and recent scams have eroded my trust. I urge you to waive these charges considering my health and financial circumstances, avoiding unjustly labeling me a debtor.
Continuing down this path could lead to negative publicity and grievances filed with Consumer Affairs. Please address this matter promptly to prevent legal actions. The neglect of my medical situation and concerns is disappointing. Your company should cease these unwarranted collection attempts and focus on resolving issues effectively to maintain customer satisfaction.
