I am attempting to purchase the Mannes-Gimpel-Silva trio LP featuring Clara Schumann and Beethoven piano trios from the seller peter-ho-records on Ebay. Upon selecting Paypal as my payment method, I received a message stating that I could not complete the purchase without providing a reason and suggesting I try a different payment method. I then attempted to use Visa, provided accurate details, but still received a message of payment decline multiple times. As the top bidder, it is concerning that the seller is not honoring the sale. I trust that peter-ho-records, with their [redacted]% positive feedback, will address this issue promptly. Thank you, Ebay, for assisting in resolving this matter. Sincerely, David Nalden.

I purchased an item that arrived damaged. After I sent pictures as proof, the seller offered a 25% refund, but I declined and requested a full refund, as I couldn't use the damaged item. Eventually, the seller agreed to the full refund and asked for my PayPal details, which I provided. The seller claimed to have issued the refund, but after waiting for days with no reimbursement, I followed up. The seller mentioned issues with their PayPal and asked for more time. Now, after a month of waiting, the seller seems to have blocked me, leaving me without the product or my money. The damaged item has been disposed of per their instructions, and I find myself at a loss due to the delays and excuses given by the seller.

I bought an item on eBay for $[redacted].80 that was supposed to be ready for home or deck use. However, I received an item that was filthy, dirty, and had a strong musty odor. My son had a reaction to it, so I tried to initiate a return. Due to my emotional state, I mistakenly clicked "did not like" instead of "not as described." The seller then denied the return. After speaking with a rude eBay representative, I contacted another who advised me to call PayPal. Despite assurances from a PayPal team member that I would be refunded, I was later informed that my case was not covered under their policy. It's frustrating to see how difficult it is to get help when needed, especially considering the fees both buyers and sellers pay. Many have already shifted to Letgo and OfferUp due to similar issues. The lack of support from eBay and PayPal in resolving this matter has left me very dissatisfied.

I just received this message from the seller. Is this normal?
Good morning, Betsey! How are you? I wanted to give you an update. I apologize for my delayed response; I have been dealing with various issues. I've just returned from the shipping company, and the RV is ready to go. The title has been notarized. However, eBay has informed me that you need to make an insurance payment. If you can make the insurance payment today, I can release the RV. eBay will contact you soon to discuss this further as it is their standard policy for transactions like this. Once the insurance payment is made, there will be no additional costs, and this amount will be refunded to you in cash upon delivery when you inspect the RV.

I recently purchased a board from you, and unfortunately, it didn't work for me. In the past, I have had over [redacted] boards, and I never encountered any issues like this. I will be returning the board for a full refund. It seems like there may have been a miscommunication about the compatibility of the board with my device. I would appreciate a full refund as the board is of no use to me. I have experience with these boards, and this situation is quite unusual. I hope we can resolve this promptly. Thank you.

I made my account on May 17th, and it got blocked 10 days later. Only when I tried to make my first purchase in October did I find out. eBay says there's a "serious issue" with an 'unpaid item' on my account, but when I check my account page, there's no 'Unpaid Item' listed. I tried to buy a refurbished phone because mine was failing. I reached out to eBay through email for help as I'm disabled and undergoing cancer recovery, explaining that I am unable to call. I even bought a phone as a Guest while waiting. The first phone was defective, and I've had issues with the second one too. I can't access the mailing label to return them or contact the seller, Sean Strichek, due to my blocked account. The frustration is real, and now I can't print the return label or communicate with the seller. It's a mess that's not getting any funnier. I need assistance, but each reply I get from Customer Service tells me to call them, which I can't do. The struggle continues.

Dear eBay Customer Support,
I am reaching out regarding a case I opened three days ago due to an undelivered item. The last expected delivery date was October 25th, and as of October 30th, the item has not even been shipped according to the tracking information provided by the seller. It seems evident that the seller attempted to deceive me. I kindly request your assistance in facilitating a refund for this transaction.
Furthermore, the seller has sent a suspicious message through the private inbox, which appears to be an attempt to delay my response. The message reads: "Hello, you are afraid that the bag can check the local post office! Local telephone: [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] (limited to domestic calls) Check the order number: [redacted]48. Thank you!"
The reference number for this request is Ref #[redacted]. I urge eBay to intervene in this matter promptly and process a refund for my purchase. Thank you for your attention to this issue.
Sincerely,
Marko Z.

Dear eBay Support,
Three days ago, I opened a case regarding an item I have yet to receive. The delivery deadline was October 25th, and even after waiting for an additional 5 days until October 30th, the item has not even entered transit according to the tracking number provided by the seller. It appears the seller attempted to deceive me. I would appreciate your assistance in processing a refund promptly.
Moreover, the seller sent a peculiar message in my private inbox to potentially delay my response. Here is the message quoted: "New message from: interestis (53Blue Star) Hello, you are afraid that the bag can check the local post office! Local telephone: [redacted] [redacted] [redacted] (limited to domestic calls) Check the order number: [redacted]48. Thank you!"
The reference number for this issue is: Ref #[redacted]. In summary, I kindly request your intervention to facilitate the refund process. Thank you for your understanding.
Sincerely,

I made a purchase on eBay and paid through Paypal. After making the payment, I received the following email from eBay:
Item Code No: [redacted]33
The listing for this item has been removed from the site, and I am not required to complete the transaction. If payment has already been sent, the sale should process as usual and there is no need to worry. If there are delivery concerns, I can check the tracking or contact the seller. If any issues arise, eBay is available to assist, and I should visit the Resolution Center for help.
I have tried to cancel the transaction and request a refund but have been unsuccessful. I need assistance with recovering the payment.
Thank you,
Sathappan

I purchased item [redacted]88 from deannaa876 on November 2. The tracking number provided, UQ[redacted]10CN, shows the item was sent from China on October 30, not from Vista, Australia to Baku, Azerbaijan as I was informed. Despite requesting UPS express shipment, my messages to the seller were ignored. Furthermore, the seller has deleted all information regarding the item, avoiding responsibility. I received a message via eBay claiming the seller's account was hacked and the items were not listed by them. Please refund my payment promptly or cancel the transaction due to false information and lack of communication from the seller who has removed all details from their account.

Hello, I placed an order for a table with 6 chairs from furniture-cJ-[redacted]. I made a payment of £[redacted] through PayPal for the items with a promised 3-day delivery. Despite being a regular customer, on the 5th day, I hadn't received my complete order. Upon contacting the seller, I was informed that only the table had been sent as they were out of stock for the chairs.
Despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, I still haven't received my full order after an additional 5 days of follow-up with the delivery company. I no longer wish to receive the parcel if it's not the complete set as advertised. The seller has failed to refund my money, even though they acknowledge not sending the chairs and seem to have sent the table elsewhere without my consent.
Best regards,
S.A.

Hello,

In March [redacted], I bought refrigerator filters from yuanweichu on eBay. Recently, when attempting to use the filters, I encountered issues as they seemed to be causing problems with water flow in the refrigerator. I'm concerned about the quality of these filters and the impact they may have had on the water we consumed. I messaged yuanweichu on Nov. 1, [redacted], through eBay's messaging system to address these issues and request a return and full refund.
Thank you.

Hello, my name is Jonah Michel, and my account is JonahMichel0. I was going through my emails and noticed complaints from customers regarding orders for 'Waterpik Ultra Dental Water Jet Flosser' that I didn't sell. I am confused as I have multiple inquiries about this product despite not listing it on my eBay account. I haven't been active on eBay recently and am unsure why these issues are arising. I don't have a credit card or funds in my PayPal account, so I'm concerned about potential charges for refunds. Please contact me via email, and I can provide screenshots to clarify the situation. Thank you.

Hello, I am a customer with the eBay account e_buyer_e_seller. I encountered an issue with the refrigerator water filters I purchased on March 16, [redacted], and have been attempting to contact the eBay seller 'yuanweichu' without success. I intended to reach out to eBay Customer Service via the Resolution Center, but unfortunately, the order is no longer listed for resolution, likely due to the timeframe of over 6 months. I delayed reporting the problem as I needed time to assess the filters. I initially ordered them to last beyond 6 months, as I have done before with a similar product from eBay in early March [redacted]. Below is a copy of my message to the seller 'yuanweichu' on Nov. 1, [redacted], within the eBay messaging system, where I am seeking a resolution concerning a refund or exchange for the faulty filters. My experience has led me to reconsider purchasing refrigerator water filters in advance from eBay, especially in sets of 2 or more.

Hello. I am experiencing an issue with auction number [redacted]76. I successfully won the auction and promptly made payment. However, shortly after, an error occurred. The message I received states:
"We had to remove this listing from the site and you're not required to complete the transaction. If you've already sent payment, the sale should process as normal and you don't have anything to worry about. If you have any questions about delivery, please check tracking or contact your seller. If you run into any trouble along the way, eBay is here to help. Please visit the Resolution Centre to help resolve any problems you may encounter."
I have reached out to the seller, but was informed that their account has been hacked and they are unable to assist. Kindly process a refund for the amount I paid, which was £63.65.
Thank you,
Lukasz M.

I have encountered this issue multiple times recently. Several Chinese sellers are falsely stating that items are in stock in the U.S., when in reality they are drop shipping them from China with no U.S. inventory. I have paid extra for items assuming they were in U.S. stock, only to have them shipped from China, resulting in long delays. This discrepancy is misleading and frustrating for buyers who are expecting faster delivery. eBay needs to address this practice to prevent further deception. It is unjust and disruptive to rely on a specific delivery date, only to experience unexpected delays due to false location claims by sellers. Monitoring seller data, including inventory location and delivery times, could reveal and prevent this misleading behavior.

I am an eBay member and suspect fraud coming from Craigslist. I had to relocate and currently reside with my parents in Wichita, KS. They are my only support at the moment. The camper is stored at eBay's facility, sealed and prepped for shipping. You will find eBay's team reliable. I have shared your details, so expect an invoice soon from eBay via email with transaction instructions. The trailer will include paperwork: a clean signed title, complete service history, and a signed bill of sale from me. I am excited about our upcoming transaction. Email [redacted]

I am an online seller who offers various DVDs on eBay, including items acquired from library book sales. Recently, I have encountered buyers who purchase new sealed DVDs, only to claim that they are scratched or skipping once opened, requesting refunds. This issue raises concerns about potential misuse where customers could view or duplicate the content then return the item claiming it is defective, resulting in loss for me. Furthermore, this impacts my return ratings on eBay. I am seeking advice on how to handle this situation, whether I can refuse returns, what actions I can take, and what incentives there are to continue selling DVDs on this platform. Your insights or recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
