I won an auction on eBay for a Dell laptop (item #[redacted]63) and was told it would arrive in a week. After waiting for nine days, I contacted the seller, who explained they were away on business and offered a refund, which I declined. Another week went by with no updates, so I suggested options for getting the laptop. Days later, eBay notified me that the seller canceled the sale. I am disappointed as I suspect the seller didn't like the final auction price. I believe sellers should honor their commitments to maintain trust in online auctions. While I have faced delays as a seller, I understand it comes with the territory. Can someone assist me with this situation, please?

I recently ordered 6 liquid lipsticks from a seller, 3 Kat Von D and 3 Anastasia Beverly Hills. The seller contacted me to say they didn't have one of the lipsticks I paid for, which concerned me. Looking at recent reviews, I found complaints about receiving fake products. Today, 5 lipsticks arrived, and I have confirmed they are counterfeit by comparing them to authentic items I own. I am requesting a full refund from eBay due to their policy on counterfeit items. I have photos to provide as evidence if necessary.

I recently bought item [redacted]44, an Edexcel A & AS level politics book, advertised as "very good condition." However, upon receiving it, I discovered that it was filled with green and yellow highlights, rendering it only in "acceptable" condition as per your guidelines. The seller's offer of a £2.00 discount does not adequately address the misrepresentation, which amounts to two levels of description. I requested a refund of £6.78 (50% of the total price) but the seller declined, insisting on a return. She proposed paying £2.50 for postage, which is inadequate. Unfortunately, I cannot return the book urgently as I needed it, and the postage cost is higher than £2.50, as evidenced by her previous postage charge of £3.48. I've initiated a case, but the only option provided is for a return, while I seek a partial refund. The seller's actions seem dishonest, prioritizing profit over honesty and customer satisfaction. I hope for a fair resolution.

Hello, I need assistance with updating my email address on my eBay account. I recently changed my email and removed the old one from my profile. However, I noticed that all [redacted] active and unsold listings still display my old email address under "Payment Options/Email address for receiving payment." Is there a way to efficiently update all these listings with my new email address, or do I have to edit each one individually? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Pete

I received my parcel at Argos Ipswich yesterday morning but haven't received a collection number yet. How long does this process usually take? The tracking number with the post office is JS[redacted]5GB. I contacted eBay, and they informed me that I need to resolve this issue on my own. They provided me with an SP code to take to Argos, but I couldn't find where to enter it online. I will be heading to Argos tomorrow. eBay mentioned that once I provide them with the number, they will send the code once they have organized the parcel. This situation has resulted in four trips to Argos.

I bought an electrical tester and proving unit on eBay on June 10, [redacted]. I won the item through bidding and paid for it immediately, including delivery. The seller mentioned having a reserve price issue and delayed shipping. After a week of back and forth, the seller claimed to send the item via second class mail. It's been four weeks, and I haven't received the product. The seller now promises to send another unit because of the delay, but I want the one I originally paid for. I fear he might send a different unit to compensate for selling it cheaply.

I purchased an item on eBay through the "Buy It Now" option but did not make the payment. Subsequently, an eBay case was opened. The item was relisted on auction, and to my surprise, the same customer, possibly using a new account, won the item. This behavior seems intentional and spiteful as there is no intention to pay for the item. The customer evidently wastes time and may have done this to cause trouble. This should be escalated to ensure they do not engage in such actions again. It is important to note that the customer operates under two account names and should face consequences, such as a lifetime ban from eBay.

I am reaching out about the email reference ID: [#aa403f6b2f104fc[redacted]d68a5bde26#] I received regarding a payment issue on eBay. I updated my account and successfully made the payment using a different card as instructed. However, my bank confirmed that the charges did go through on the initial card despite eBay's notification. The bank advised that eBay needs to release the hold for the funds to be credited back to my account. I kindly request prompt assistance with resolving this issue. The card in question is a Visa ending in ************[redacted] with an expiration date of 05/21. For any further communication, please reach me at +44 (0) [redacted].

The buyer has claimed that the parcel arrived opened, with the bag ripped, and items missing. The bag contained nearly £3,[redacted] worth of clothing which was purchased for just £[redacted], making it a significant bargain. Despite the buyer's request for a refund for the missing items, I am reluctant to issue one. I suspect the buyer might be attempting to profit unfairly. The missing items were not located where the bag was torn, and the bag itself was a sturdy plastic suction bag that typically does not tear easily, usually bursting at the seal instead. Unfortunately, this is now the second instance where I've encountered such issues. It's frustrating that eBay tends to favor buyers over sellers, but I remain firm in my decision not to refund the buyer.

Hello, I encountered an issue with my eBay account that led to its suspension in July [redacted]. Unfortunately, the message I received did not provide a clear explanation for the suspension. My eBay account username is kenbr386. I suspect this may be linked to a situation where I requested a refund for undelivered items. Last July, I had ordered 2 iPod Nano 2nd Gen players to be delivered to my brother's address in the UK. However, they did not arrive during my visit, so I assumed they had not been dispatched and requested a refund through eBay. I later discovered that my mother had brought back four players similar to iPod Nanos, made by Eshaan, from the UK. I now realize that these are the items I ordered. I apologize for the misunderstanding regarding the dispatch status. Living in Mozambique, I can't easily return the players. I am willing to reimburse eBay for the items, as they are still untouched in their packaging. Could my brother potentially handle the return when he visits in January? I would appreciate your assistance with resolving this matter to reinstate my eBay account. Warm regards, Kenneth B.

eBay Seller: *4cfc* Item Number: [redacted]12 I came across a seller offering "vehicles for sale" on eBay, looking for a left-hand drive car registered in Spain. The seller had a LHD vehicle in Germany, promising delivery and registration across Europe, which suited my needs. The seller had excellent feedback, so I contacted them on 29/04/19 through eBay to purchase the car. I sent a 30% deposit of £11,[redacted].00 on 02/05/19 and later paid £5,[redacted].64 for VAT and £25,[redacted].00 more, totaling £42,[redacted].64. Although the seller seemed knowledgeable and offered other vehicles for sale, there have been delays and false promises, culminating in eBay closing the seller's account. I seek advice on resolving this situation, aiming for either delivery of the car or a refund of the funds. Best regards, Steve Williams (user name - SFW636)

I was in the process of purchasing a dress with International postage on eBay from the seller 'hbprice.' As flight crew working in Portugal, I asked the seller via email to hold the dress for a few days until my flying roster allowed me to buy it. Unfortunately, the seller informed me that she wouldn't ship outside the UK, even though her listings include International postage. Despite my concerns, the seller insisted it was too inconvenient to accommodate my request. As this issue concerns my husband's eBay account, I prefer not to file a complaint under his name. I would appreciate it if the seller's practices could be reviewed. Kind regards, Marianne. Please refrain from sharing my email address with any marketing companies.

I recently purchased a pair of shoes from a US seller, but quickly realized I had selected the wrong size. I immediately reached out to the seller before the item was shipped, requesting a larger size. Unfortunately, the seller shipped the shoes in the original size despite my request, and they do not fit. After contacting the seller again on July 11th with no response, I initiated a return and refund request through eBay. While the request was approved, I am dissatisfied that I had to cover the return shipping cost for an item I did not order. I am having difficulty escalating this issue on the eBay website. I simply seek a fair resolution where the seller covers the return shipping, allowing me to return the item promptly and conclude this matter. Your assistance in resolving this situation would be greatly appreciated.

I recently bought a set of six chairs. After about two months, two of them broke at the welded frame. The seller was not helpful, only offering a small refund or replacement legs, which they later admitted they didn't have. I believe the chairs should be replaced, not repaired at my cost. The seller is unresponsive, and my attempts to involve eBay have been confusing and unsuccessful. Can you assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you. Gillian

I bought an electronic cigarette from the seller Product88 on July 5th. I ordered the vape in blue, but received a green one instead. I asked for a refund, returned it to them, but mistakenly used my own postage and tracking instead of the prepaid label sent by eBay. Although they have received and signed for it, I haven't received my refund. The "Return details" still mention a deadline of July 31st for a refund, along with a tracking number I didn't use. I'm concerned about not receiving my £45 refund. I've tried contacting Product88 without any response about the refund timeline. How should I proceed?

I purchased a disability scooter that was supposed to be fully charged to get me home, but it stalled multiple times during my journey and eventually stopped working. I had to ask a local bar to charge it briefly, but it stalled again on my way home. I am unable to afford transportation to return it to the seller, so I requested the seller to arrange the return since the scooter is now stranded at the bar. Despite returning the key, the seller refused to take responsibility, leaving me with no resolution through eBay's return process. The seller should be accountable for ensuring the item was in working condition before selling it.

Hello, I am interested in selling jewelry on eBay. My plan is to sell blocks of 20-25 pieces at a time, totaling a few hundred per month. I am looking for a way to list these items with numbered pictures (e.g., 1-22) that can be zoomed in to show the charms in greater detail. I want buyers to be able to select a product from a drop-down menu and am concerned about what happens if the same item is selected by multiple buyers. I make only one of each product, so I need a system that prevents overselling. I hope to have an "out of stock" symbol appear on the drop-down list as soon as the first buyer selects a product to avoid any issues with multiple buyers. Can anyone advise me on how to set this up effectively? Thank you. Best, George B

Hello. I am not sure if I am reaching the correct department, but I would like to share what happened with my recent purchase. I bought a petrol strimmer from Germany through eBay and made all the payments promptly. I received a notification that the item was shipped. However, today I got an email stating that the DHL courier couldn't locate my address, leading to the cancellation of the order. The refund was issued as well. I find it hard to believe that DHL couldn't find an address in a city as vast as Birmingham. I shop frequently on eBay and other online platforms without facing such delivery issues. Can someone look into this matter as this explanation seems unreasonable to me? Cancellation ID: [redacted] Order number: 18-03[redacted]6 Seller ID: Arbeitswelt24

I, Christine Goulding, purchased a Morgan Silver Dollar coin chest on July 4th. The item did not meet my expectations regarding the value for the price paid, including postage. Although the seller accepted my return request, they did not provide a returns label. Recently, I was informed by the seller via email that I needed to process the return through eBay's policy. When reaching out to eBay, I was informed that I would need to cover the return postage since my reason for return was due to not liking the item. I specifically stated in my original complaint that the product did not meet the described standard. The customer service representative I spoke with was impolite and unhelpful. I am disappointed with this experience and do not plan to use eBay in the future.

I purchased a Nest thermostat scheduled for delivery on 15/7/19. Unfortunately, it did not arrive, and after contacting the seller, I was informed they would ship it on the 18th due to work commitments. The UPS tracking still shows the parcel as pending at their depot. I received conflicting emails from PayPal; one stating a refund was issued and another saying the transaction couldn't be completed. I have tried reaching out to the seller, but have not received a response and fear I may not get one. The seller's eBay name is phibri-7, email [redacted], and the tracking number is UPS 1Z2V7V[redacted]53.
