I sold some woodworking clamps on eBay about two years ago for collection only. The buyer, who lives far away, kept canceling pick-up due to various reasons. Before moving, I tried to contact him since he hasn't collected them. Recently, due to COVID, he asked to have them shipped, and I agreed if he covers the cost. He now wants to pick them up on his way to Scotland but eBay won't let me share my address without charging a fee. I want to clarify that this situation is unrelated to the initial sale, and eBay doesn't address this issue in its seller information.

Subject: Appeal for Case # [redacted] Regarding eBay Purchase by Buyer 'Harrisdvd'
I recently received the item back from the buyer without any scratches. It appears the buyer falsely claimed the item wasn't as described, possibly due to overbidding. Upon reviewing photos from a previous buyer who returned the item for different reasons, there were no complaints about scratches. The photos provided by the current buyer seem altered, as the item appears clean in their images.
Considering the buyer's dishonesty and my strict no-refund policy, I am requesting to send the item to eBay for inspection. I am appealing the hasty decision made by eBay regarding this case.
I am disappointed by the presence of dishonest individuals on eBay and appreciate your attention to this matter.
Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with a return case I initiated for an aerobics fitstep I bought. Here are the details:
Item ID: [redacted]06
Return ID: [redacted]
Seller ID: mylogifts
The steps I received were defective, with the non-slip grips on the bottom continually coming loose, resulting in one breaking off after only 5 uses. The seller agreed to the return and furnished a return label. Regrettably, the label they provided does not cover the postage cost due to the weight of the item. Royal Mail is demanding an additional £10 for shipping, which I find excessive compared to the item's price of £26.99.
I have reached out to the seller twice about this matter with no response. If I fail to send the item back, the case may close in favor of the seller. Could you advise me on how to prompt the seller to provide a suitable postage label?
Thank you,
E.

My eBay account is currently suspended due to security concerns arising from recent account activity. I am unable to access or create a new account on eBay. I was in the middle of purchasing a Phonak Charging socket from a seller in the U.S. when my account was suspended abruptly. Unfortunately, I am unsure if the payment was successful. The reason for the suspension was not specified beyond general security issues.
I urgently require the charging socket for my hearing aids. Kindly provide clarification on the account restriction and assist me in resolving this matter promptly.
Thank you. Joseph

I purchased a desk from collcollchoice2018, and one of the planks was incorrect. I informed them, and despite their repeated promises to provide a return label for me to send it back, I am unable to do so as I am disabled and cannot make it to a post office. I shop online due to my mobility issues and have no one who can help me with this. The seller has not been very helpful in understanding my situation, as I have clearly explained my inability to return the desk. I paid £70.99 for a faulty desk that the seller sent, and now I am stuck in this situation. I just want either a refund or a replacement desk with the correct parts. I hope they can assist me soon.
Thank you,
Caitlin S.

I bought 2 extendable bookends from Caosis for a project. Unfortunately, one arrived damaged. Despite my request for a replacement, they insisted on a return for a refund covering the postage as well. The damaged item was returned and confirmed delivered by Hermes to Caosis on August 17th at 12:04 pm. However, Caosis claims they cannot trace the return and keeps asking for another tracking number. I feel they are stalling, as I provided updates throughout. I am currently out of pocket for the bookends (£19.98) and return postage (£9.20), costs they agreed to cover. I have messages confirming this agreement. Resolving this through eBay systems has been unsuccessful. I ask that the seller honors their agreement to reimburse me for the goods and postage. Thank you for addressing this issue. Regards, jaskell45.

I recently received three items ordered from different sellers on eBay. Unfortunately, all the parcels were delivered by Royal Mail and thrown over my garden, where my dogs damaged the items. I contacted the sellers regarding the damaged parcels, attaching photos as evidence. While one seller promptly refunded me, the other two are reluctant to claim from Royal Mail. I reached out to Royal Mail, but they informed me that compensation should be claimed by the sellers, not the buyer. Despite opening a case, it was closed without resolution. I have paid for items that were not delivered in the expected condition. I purchased items from the sellers "k.nbedding" and "bambinoscodurham." My email address is [redacted] Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Hello, I recently received a faulty item and was asked to return it. The seller informed me that they refunded £3.10 to cover the return postage, but I noticed that the return page does not display a return address for the item: Desigual XL Strapless Summer Top XL with eBay item number [redacted]53. The lack of a return address concerns me, and I have not fully agreed to the requested method of returning the item. Could you assist me with these issues? Your help is much appreciated. Thank you.

I recently received a faulty item and was asked to return it. The seller refunded me £3.10 for the return shipping cost and asked me to send it without using couriers. However, on the return item page, there is no return address provided. I have not agreed to this method and find it unprofessional. Can someone assist me with the following:
1. There is no return address on my return page for the Desigual XL Strapless Summer Top XL, eBay item number: [redacted]53.
2. Is the shipping method requested by the seller legitimate?
Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Urgent assistance needed!
I am facing issues with a seller who has my money and returned faulty item. The item is a Sevylor Riviera Inflatable 2-man Kayak with a pump and 2 paddles. The seller's error in the description led to faulty merchandise. Despite being at fault, the seller won't arrange collection, insisting I return the item at my expense. The bulky nature of the item delayed return within the timeframe. Seller is unresponsive post return delivery, holding both the item and funds, even after I covered the return postage. Kindly intervene promptly to resolve this matter. Details of communication are available on Ebay chat portal.
Best regards,
Lewis and Debbie

I recently discovered that I have two eBay UK accounts. One of them, from 10 years ago, is still active but linked to an old email address. When I encountered login issues, a local telecom provider opened a new account to assist me without my knowledge. Now, I am locked out of my old account with all my purchase history. After contacting eBay and hours of communication, they closed the newer account with my updated email. I am struggling to reach eBay UK to reinstate my old account with my current email. Is there a phone number where I can talk to someone at eBay UK?

I ordered the Calvin Klein CK Be 200ml Eau de Toilette Spray for Men or Women, with the order number 20-05[redacted]5. I never received the goods because my account was hacked and the purchase was made without my knowledge. I notified the seller as soon as I found out, but they still sent the goods, which I refused. I need a refund promptly, as I never had possession of the items. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I attempted to sell an item on eBay but ended up not selling it. eBay charged me for the listing. I tried to contact eBay to resolve the issue but ended up paying the fee. However, my account has since been closed. I have been trying for three weeks and have sent several emails requesting to have my account reopened. I hope to receive a reply soon to understand why I am unable to make a purchase on eBay. Thank you. Sandy

I recently sold an item on eBay listed as not working/for parts. However, the buyer claimed the battery was not holding a charge and requested a refund. My listing clearly stated no returns, and I believed the battery issue fell under the item's condition. Despite this, eBay sided with the buyer, and I had to refund the purchase and pay for return postage. The buyer left negative feedback on my account, while I was unable to do the same. The buyer continues to harass me on eBay regarding the feedback I did leave, accusing me of malicious behavior and stalking, which is untrue. I have only responded in self-defense. I feel unsupported as a seller on eBay and have no way to report bullying behavior. Dealing with this situation is overwhelming for me, especially as I am recovering from a recent stroke. I request that eBay takes action against this member and prohibits any further contact from them.

I have an issue with two products not being delivered to me. I paid for a pair of women's shorts and a water ring for my daughter, but even though the system shows they were delivered, I never received them. I emailed the seller, and they joked about it without solving the problem. Please check where my products are. I will provide the tracking numbers and my address: 4 Woodland Avenue, Woodland House, postcode LU31RW, Luton. My flat is located within a laundry service. Please refund me if the products are not found. I also want the worker, mauk903, to face consequences for their behavior towards customers. He is the one who supposedly sold the water ring but it didn't arrive, and the one who sold the shorts goes by the name cameron-take but also failed to deliver the product. Thank you for resolving this issue as I don't know where else to turn.

I purchased item number [redacted]40 from IJInteriors for £[redacted].95 with an additional £10.00 for next day delivery, paid through PayPal. The seller informed me they ran out of the color I wanted, offered alternatives which I declined, and requested a full refund. They only refunded £9.99 out of the £10.00 next day delivery cost. Despite being told the refund of £[redacted].95 would be processed within 1-5 days, it has been 8 days and I have not received it. Attempts to contact the seller through eBay have been unhelpful. I'm now £[redacted].95 short and unable to buy new garden furniture for my mother as planned. eBay has not provided any options for stepping in to resolve the issue.

Hello, I am unable to access my eBay account. The page is displaying strange listings and is unresponsive with large black ticks scattered around. I remember accepting cookies when prompted yesterday. Additionally, I received an email thanking me for account changes, but I only added new listings. Yesterday evening, my account started acting unusual, so I assumed it was a temporary issue and shut down. I am concerned that my account may have been hacked. I attempted to contact support but was unsuccessful. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jayne.

I purchased a Fitbit Ionic from a seller on eBay UK back in February. Initially, it worked fine, but in the past few months, it stopped working. Due to COVID-19, I only recently reached out to Fitbit customer service about the issue. A few weeks ago, they mentioned it might be a connection problem. When I called today, they informed me the Fitbit was locked by the seller, who seems to have scammed me. The replacement given to me is now blocked and useless. The seller's name is Zak Morris, and all the necessary information is on my account. I'd appreciate it if you could contact me about this matter. As someone who is autistic, I find this situation challenging. I can be reached at [redacted]. I'll hold off on involving the police until I hear from you.

Dear Sir,
I am writing about my case number [redacted]96. The seller opened an unpaid item case against me. I provided him with complete information about why I made an offer and why I later cancelled it. The measurements were not clear, specifically the height of the chair was not mentioned. Despite my inquiries, the seller did not provide the measurements and was uncooperative. Instead, they threatened to open a case if I did not pay immediately. Upon further inspection, I discovered discrepancies in the specifications provided and what was actually being sold. I politely explained to the seller that as a grandmother purchasing the item for my grandchild, it was essential for me to have accurate measurements, which were not provided. However, the seller did not accept my explanation. My eBay history since [redacted] shows that I have not had any issues prior to this. I kindly request your understanding and assistance in resolving this matter.
Thank you.

I, Mitch B., chose to return a mattress to the seller, Bed Cloud, using Hermes instead of the Royal Mail label provided by eBay. The seller has confirmed receiving the return, and I have proof of postage. However, the refund process is delayed because the seller cannot inform eBay about the return, which has put the money on hold. I am concerned that canceling the return might affect my eligibility for a refund since it involves a significant amount of money. I was surprised by eBay's new policy requiring the use of their labels for returns, as I had previously returned items without issues using different carriers. Despite my multiple attempts to reach out to eBay for assistance, I have been unable to get a resolution and feel stuck in a frustrating loop of communication.
