I had sold a jewellery lot for £[redacted]. The buyer initially claimed not to have received it, citing a tracking number error. I followed eBay's advice to provide the correct tracking number, proving delivery. Subsequently, the buyer changed their complaint, alleging the item was defective. It was 9-carat gold jewellery worth £[redacted]. Despite providing tracking information confirming delivery, eBay issued a refund, resulting in PayPal blockage for outstanding fees. The buyer retains the gold without returning it, having received a full refund. I have experienced similar issues with this buyer before. I urgently request a call at ([redacted]) [redacted] to address this unresolved matter. Attempts to contact eBay's chat and customer service were unproductive, as the conversation abruptly ended. I will escalate this matter to the appropriate regulatory body if not promptly resolved. I seek either a full refund or the return of the items, with an explanation for these operational challenges. It is unacceptable to handle business in this manner.

I have been experiencing a frustrating issue with a seller since April. I purchased a pair of earphones from the seller Prettywell on eBay. The package arrived ten days late due to the pandemic, and when I opened it, I found the items to be faulty. After contacting the seller, they agreed to provide a refund or replacement. Opting for a replacement, I waited for five weeks but did not receive it. Despite multiple follow-ups, the seller kept asking me to wait longer or check with my neighbors for the missing package. Frustrated by the delay, I finally informed them that I would involve eBay in the matter. The seller then promised to refund my money within 48 hours but has not done so after two weeks. I am seeking advice on how to proceed and wish to share my email correspondence with the seller for further review to prevent other buyers from facing similar issues. Thank you, M.

I purchased a front seatbelt for my Saab Aero, but unfortunately, it was faulty as it wouldn't pull out. I contacted eBay to initiate a return, and they informed the seller who agreed to the return. When I tried to obtain a return label and address on eBay's site, I encountered an error preventing access. Despite sending the item back via tracked parcel within the 48-hour return window, Royal Mail was unable to deliver it due to the recipient's absence. eBay advised me to wait for their update within 48 hours, but I have not received any communication since. I would appreciate it if someone could assist me in resolving this matter. Thank you, Jim R.

I am looking to pay seller fees of £16.04. PayPal seems like the easiest option, but I encountered issues when trying to use it. The next option is credit card, but only Visa or Mastercard are accepted, and I don't have these cards. I attempted to use AMEX, but it didn't work. Setting up automated payments also wasn't successful. I am willing to make the payment, but I need a more convenient method. I propose accepting PayPal, as it could simplify the process. It's frustrating when you want to make a payment, but the options provided make it challenging to do so.

Dear Sir,
I received an email on July 28th and promptly submitted the required documents, which were acknowledged by Kris from eBay customer support on July 29th. However, I have not received any further updates or information since then.
Could someone please provide me with an update on the status of the verification process for my account and documents so that I can resume my selling activities?
On another note, I encountered an issue where my debit card payment for outstanding dues was declined when I attempted to set up automatic payments using the same card. I would appreciate it if you could address these concerns and offer a solution.
Thank you,
Harris

I purchased an Android tablet on eBay from seller hw_247, with order number 09-04[redacted]0. Despite ordering in March and being told a replacement was sent in May, I have not received either tablet. The order is no longer showing in my history, and the seller has not provided a solution despite my request for a refund. When I contact them, they only respond with "I will check again." I seek advice on how to proceed with this issue. Thank you. - Margaret

I am experiencing an issue with eBay's Global Shipping Service. Being in France, my purchases are consistently shipped through this service, labeled as "expedited delivery to France." As a buyer, I have no say in the shipping method. The package gets sent to a third party, Pitney Bowles in Tamworth, incurring additional time and costs. Subsequently, I receive an email from WinDirect, informing me of an impending delivery, though the tracking shows otherwise. Eventually, the package arrives via regular mail without a signature, taking around 10 days at a cost of £10-14, whereas Royal Mail International Tracked takes about 4 days at £6. For neighboring countries, this service seems unnecessary. I am questioning the purpose of this service for EU nations, suggesting eBay revert to the postal system or consider alternatives like Hermes.

I recently sold an item to a buyer, and everything was in perfect condition when I shipped it. However, the buyer claimed that the item arrived broken in transit. Initially, she agreed to accept a £20 refund to have the item repaired. Now, she is requesting a full refund of £45 plus £10 for postage. I am concerned that this might be a scam, especially since she initially agreed to a lesser refund. I am also upset that a decision was made regarding a full refund without consulting me first. I do not have enough funds in my account to issue a full refund. I am considering seeking legal advice from my solicitor and taking further action. I am also planning to report this to Watchdog as I believe this situation is unfair, and I sold the item in good faith.

I recently purchased an armchair from Sleepkings, unfortunately, it was significantly lower in height compared to my sofa. Due to being disabled, I couldn't use it, so they agreed to let me return it. A courier was arranged for collection, which cost me £60. The armchair was collected on August 3rd, but when trying to wrap it for return, we noticed a small tear on the bottom. Despite informing them immediately and providing photos, Sleepkings is now offering only £[redacted] instead of a full refund of £[redacted], claiming damage. They haven't sent pictures of the tear and are not acknowledging receipt of the chair back. I am upset and considering legal action. I called them but was told to sort it out via messages. Your assistance would be appreciated.

Good morning, I have purchased items from eBay but have not received all 7 items. The sellers keep telling me to check with my friends, family, and neighbors. It's unclear why that is related to my order. When I miss a delivery, the usual procedure is to leave a note for me to collect it. I have been receiving packages at my address for 2 years without issues, so I don't understand why this time is different. I feel the sellers are not helping, despite me already paying for the items. I shop on eBay due to my busy schedule and would appreciate if someone could assist me with this situation. Thank you. - Yasin Seif

Hi, this is a follow-up from my previous post. I forgot to mention what I wanted to be done. I've tried calling several times but haven't had the option to speak with anyone. This issue will be reported to Fraud UK and the police. Santander is currently collaborating with Barclays on this matter. The person in question needs to be removed from eBay as she is a scammer. Could you please confirm receipt of both emails and let me know what the next steps will be? A phone call would also be appreciated. Thank you.

I received a very forceful and demanding message from the seller regarding my review. I found the message to be rude and was compelled to keep my review up as it's my personal opinion on the product. Despite the damage shown in the photo, I managed to get a similar product on eBay for a much lower price. The seller, 'adelec', contacted me about my review on order number 01-05[redacted]5. Here is the message they sent me:
"Please remove the feedback you left on my eBay. It’s highly unfair to leave a review saying “overpriced” when you willingly accepted to buy it for the agreed amount. Also, in regards to the condition, this was highlighted in the description and photos. The price is very reasonable and clearly reflects its state. If you wanted to buy this brand new, nothing was stopping you."

I inadvertently listed my Nintendo Switch Lite twice on eBay, resulting in the item being sold to two different buyers. Although I promptly refunded the second buyer, I was still charged an exit fee for both sales. I kindly request a refund of the duplicate fee amounting to £16.49. My eBay ID is cas160769. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello,
I need assistance with an order I placed on eBay that has not been delivered. I made the purchase without registering for an account, but I received an email confirming the shipment with a tracking number. The tracking information stopped updating after the package arrived in my country with no carrier details provided. I then created an account using the same email address but was given a different username, causing a loss of access to my purchase history. I am unable to contact eBay directly and feel frustrated without a resolution or refund for my undelivered package. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thank you and have a great week!
Best,
Ana

I am seeking to challenge a refund decision. I was informed that the case is ongoing, yet the buyer has already been refunded. I listed a used saddle for sale at a low price of £73, significantly less than its typical value of over £[redacted]. After the buyer purchased it, she requested a refund which I granted. Shockingly, she later confessed to intentionally damaging the saddle beyond repair. Despite this, Customer Services sided with her and issued a full refund without considering the facts. During a live chat, an adviser suggested offering a partial repayment, indicating the case was still open. The buyer falsely claimed the item was inaccurately described, which is untrue. I am frustrated by this unjust treatment. It is clear that the buyer has manipulated the system through deceit, undermining its integrity.

Hello,
I'm facing a challenging issue here. I acquired two Koi Carps on June 21st, about 53 days ago. Upon arrival, I introduced them to my pond after letting them adjust to the water temperature. One fish immediately began gulping at the surface continuously, while the other settled in harmoniously with my other 16 koi fish. I promptly reached out to the seller, who unfortunately has been unresponsive. Despite treating the pond for a potential gill infection, the problematic fish continues to struggle. It's evident that this Koi has an underlying issue unrelated to my care, and I am seeking a refund and for the fish to be collected.

I bought a Fujitsu FI-6230LA FI [redacted] A4 USB Duplex Dual Feed Document Scanner + Warranty for £[redacted].99. However, upon receiving the item, I discovered that the scanner was not functional. I promptly returned it to the seller on June 30, [redacted].
Following the return, the Royal Mail lost the scanner, and I am now seeking a refund of £[redacted].99. While I attempted to address this issue with Paypal, I encountered difficulties due to their staff's lack of understanding. Despite explaining that the scanner had been returned to the seller, Paypal closed the case erroneously.
Given that Ebay facilitated the return postage, I believe they should handle the resolution. My Order no. is 13-05[redacted]4, and the Postage Tracking number is PBUH[redacted]. I have been in communication with the seller regarding this matter.
Having used Ebay and Paypal without incident for several years, this situation has been distressing. I request assistance in reclaiming my £[redacted].99 loss.

I received the following notification from eBay about my selling account. I am unsure why this occurred as the email does not specify the reason for the restriction. It requests a reply for an appeal, but I cannot find an option to respond. I need assistance with this promptly.
Notifying the account owner, they mention my account has certain concerns not aligned with eBay's guidelines. Consequently, they have placed restrictions on my selling privileges temporarily. This includes being unable to list new items and prohibited from opening a new account. Removed listings will not be refunded.
While these actions are precautionary and not necessarily a reflection of my account’s activities, I aim to comply with eBay's User Agreement.
To understand more about the User Agreement or appeal the restriction, you can visit the provided link. I must follow the guidelines and reply to initiate the appeal process. Additional information may also be required. Your prompt help is greatly appreciated in resolving this matter promptly. Looking forward to your support.
Best regards,

I recently purchased a pair of Adidas New Mens Originals Haiwee Grey Casual Trainers in UK Size 10 on eBay, but received a pair of pure white shoes of poor quality instead. The seller seems suspicious as the feedback option disappeared after I purchased the item, preventing me from leaving feedback. I contacted the seller to express my disappointment but am unsure if I will receive a refund due to the questionable nature of the transaction. I have initiated the returns process but have my doubts. This experience has made me wary of future purchases on eBay, and I believe it would be beneficial for eBay to investigate this seller, whose Seller ID is top-target-trading.
