I am reaching out in need of urgent assistance regarding a recent purchase I made on your platform. I have been an eBay customer for over a decade and have always had positive experiences until now. I recently bought a green [redacted]-liter bin that was advertised as "council standard" on eBay. I am dissatisfied with a recent purchase. The item was advertised as cast iron, but upon arrival, it was made of flimsy metal instead. I requested a refund, and the seller offered to refund only half of the amount. I declined and asked for a full refund, offering to return the item. The seller then suggested keeping the item and receiving a half refund. I declined again. They then promised to send a replacement as advertised, but it has yet to arrive since this issue started in May. Despite sending photos of the item and delivery details as requested, each follow-up results in the same response: the replacement is in transit, please be patient. I made it clear that I no longer want a replacement and just want a full refund. However, the seller keeps asking for more patience. I need my money back to make a purchase elsewhere. I am not wealthy and cannot afford this loss. I have also informed the seller that I will report them to trading standards for false advertising.

I am frustrated with the difficulty in reaching a customer service representative. I recently received an item from Thrift that looks nothing like the photo. I plan to return it and have been trying to get in touch with someone from EBay for assistance. I am hoping they will provide a free return label to avoid paying for return shipping. The delay in response is concerning. The item received does not match the description shown in the photo, as it was supposed to include a vest which I do not like at all. I am writing to report a seller on eBay.co.uk named bizitshopuk, also known as Darren John LADDS, for fraud. After placing an order with order number 05-10[redacted]4, the initial delivery attempt failed, and the package was returned to the seller. I have confirmation from the shipping company supporting this. However, the seller falsely claimed to eBay that they had provided details for a second shipping attempt, even though evidence in eBay message boards shows otherwise. Despite this, eBay closed the non-delivery case without allowing me to appeal. The seller, who has ceased communication with me, appears to be engaging in fraudulent behavior to retain both the money and the item they sold.

Hello, I've been having difficulty updating my bank account on eBay. I've successfully updated my card, but the bank account change isn't going through despite multiple attempts this year. I've been a long-time user of eBay and want to utilize the platform more as I've found great sellers who offer better deals compared to Amazon. However, due to my Parkinson's disease, I tend to be sluggish with certain tasks. If I can't resolve this over the phone, I may have to consider closing my account. A customer purchased an item from me 6 weeks ago but claims she did not receive it. Upon checking the tracking information, it showed that delivery was attempted and the item might be at a post office depot. She reached out 4 weeks ago, and I advised her to collect it. However, she only managed to pick it up yesterday due to her work schedule. Upon rechecking the tracking details, it seems the item was sent to a holding depot since she did not collect it from Royal Mail on time. I took great care in packaging the item securely, indicated it was fragile, and have a history of positive feedback. The customer has been demanding and insistent on lowering the price from the beginning. It feels like there may be some questionable behavior happening.

My daughter bought an item on eBay. We requested to cancel the order, but had already paid for it. Ten minutes later, we realized it wasn't what we expected. We tried to cancel the order because the box and dropper are missing. The item was listed as brand new, but without the box or dropper, it cannot be. I used a guest account to make a purchase on eBay for an Unlocked Apple iPhone 5S on July 20, [redacted]. The delivery by Royal Mail on July 22, [redacted], did not reach me directly and upon investigation, it was discovered that the parcel was delivered to the wrong address by the courier. I received an email from PayPal stating that they are holding £80 of my money until they receive "further instruction" from you regarding an item I attempted to purchase on eBay today. The item in question is a chest expander, for which I made an offer. Shortly after, eBay notified me that the item was no longer available, resulting in no sale occurring.
I am puzzled as to why my funds were captured prior to the purchase being finalized. I have attempted to reach out to PayPal, but their customer service and communication channels seem more challenging to navigate than yours. I am eager to have my £80 refunded promptly and would appreciate your assistance in expediting this process.

I encountered an issue with a delivery from Hermes-evri due to an incomplete address resulting in non-delivery. Despite providing the correct address, the item still did not reach me. After contacting Hermes multiple times, they directed me to the seller. Unfortunately, upon reaching out to the seller, I was informed the case is closed. Now, I am left without my item that is presumably still with Hermes. The customer service experience has been frustrating with automated responses, leading to a feeling of going in circles. In the past, I have received items from eBay without any problems with the addresses being accurate. The tracking number for this particular item from evri is H03TIA[redacted].

I received a message from PayPal stating that I need to return the chair I received. Unfortunately, I haven't been provided with a return label and I'm not sure which carrier to use. The seller sent me a return label for Royal Mail, but the item is 26kg and Royal Mail won't accept it. I need to return the chair to get my refund, but I got rid of my previous recliner in anticipation of this delivery. Due to being registered disabled and having difficulty walking, I am unable to take the item to a depot. eBay indicates that the return is closed, but I can't receive my refund from PayPal until the item is returned.
