I recently encountered fraudulent activity on my eBay account, and eBay assisted me in resetting my password. However, upon returning to my account, I discovered that I had been locked out. I was instructed to click on a link sent to a phone number ending in [redacted], which is not my number as I had previously confirmed. As a result, I am currently unable to access my account and have no means of contacting eBay for further assistance. I have attempted to reach out through messages but have not received a response.

I have a personal email account that I use for selling items. Due to the large number of items I inherited, I set up a separate eBay business account to sell some of them. However, after listing just 5 items on the new business account, it got suspended. I received a message to call eBay for assistance in getting it unsuspended, but the phone system only seems to recognize American and Canadian numbers. Hello team, I recently purchased an item from a seller that came with a 2-year warranty. After the item broke down, I contacted the seller to request a replacement. Initially, the seller asked for 360GBP to send a new item without returning the broken one. Later, the seller changed the amount to 120GBP when I refused. I offered to return the damaged item at a cost of 30GBP for postage, but the seller insisted I pay at least 100GBP for postage, which seems excessive based on my research into postage costs. I am seeking your assistance to either obtain a full refund upon returning the item at my own postage expense or to receive a replacement without any extra charges as promised in the item's description regarding the 2-year warranty. I believe the seller's request for additional money is unjustified, especially considering standard postage rates. I feel frustrated by the seller's demands and hope you can intervene to help resolve this issue as my communication with the seller has reached a standstill. I placed an order on 23rd May [redacted] with an order total of £8.98. The order number is 04-10[redacted]6. A few days ago, I cancelled the order due to the seller's failure to dispatch the item and requested a refund. Unfortunately, I have not received any communication from the seller. Hello, I recently made a purchase on eBay and the item was delivered to a local shop on Wednesday, May 31st. Hello, I recently purchased a gear linkage shift rod for an Alfa Romeo GTV from eBay, but unfortunately, I received a defective item from the seller. I initiated the return process for a full refund. I shipped an item but the buyer claims it was not received. After eBay closed the case, I contacted Royal Mail and confirmed that the tracking number provided does not match my address. I have a reference number - 1/[redacted] - from Royal Mail confirming this. The proof of delivery clearly shows the item was not delivered to me. I believe the case was closed in error, and I am seeking a refund and an apology from the seller.

Order No JJD[redacted][redacted]: I need to report strange behavior by the seller. On June 3rd, the seller notified me that my item was out for delivery. I responded explaining my availability on the 4th and 5th, and if delivery was not possible, the plan was to collect the item at Argos East Ham with a reference provided. However, instead of acknowledging this, the seller directed me to contact Waltham Cross, which is unusual. Additionally, if a delivery attempt was made, a notification should have been left, yet no such notification was found. Please be aware that if the item cannot be collected on June 8th as agreed, it must be cancelled and refunded. I will be away this weekend until September. Best regards, Donatella 2

There is a scammer attempting to deceive people with fake offers for cheap Motorhomes, cars, and campervans. This person is using multiple listings with similar items but different names, like the examples provided. It is evident from the listings that these scammers are causing harm and tarnishing eBay's reputation. Lately, when registering on eBay, users are required to input their name, email, postcode, and phone number, while scammers can hide their contact details and exact locations. To prevent these fraudulent activities, genuine sellers should be obliged to provide their full address and phone numbers, or else they should not be allowed to list any items. This is a concerning issue that needs to be addressed promptly to maintain the integrity of the platform.

I am experiencing difficulties with eBay's verification process. Despite having the correct phone number on file, I am not receiving the verification texts. I am able to log in through the eBay app on my phone and choose the option to receive the verification via email instead of text. However, when eBay attempts to send the text, they are using what appears to be a US format number (7xx-xxx-xx46) instead of my UK number ([redacted]****[redacted]). This discrepancy might explain why I'm not receiving the texts. I have not been able to find a way to speak to a customer service representative directly, and the automated help systems have not resolved my issue. My primary goal is to ensure that the verification texts arrive reliably in the future.

I sold the Ping Irons ID-[redacted]85 on 13/05/23 using Ebay's Packlink to ship via EVRI. Despite tracking indicating out for delivery on 18 May, the package went missing until being updated as delivered on 31 May, causing a discrepancy as the buyer claims non-receipt. The buyer insists the tracking photo shows an address unlike his. I've communicated with Packlink's Victoria, leading to a refund to the buyer on 30 May prior to EVRI's update. Despite the delivery status change, the buyer disputes it, and Packlink closed my insurance claim citing delivered status. The buyer's continued denial, the lengthy delay, and the incorrect address raise suspicions about EVRI's delivery process.
