I've noticed many Cisco EE Signal Box Boosters for sale on eBay, even though they are no longer supported on the network since last year. I'm concerned this might be a form of fraud since these items won't work anymore due to the shut down of the old PTSN network. Could it be against eBay's policy to allow the sale of items that are no longer functional?
It seems misleading to sell items that are obsolete and won't work. When exactly did the Signal Box service close down? The 3G Signal Box service was discontinued in Summer [redacted], rendering the devices obsolete. It's recommended to recycle the Signal Box by returning it to an EE Store or a local recycling centre. I informed them of my intention to retract my bid before the auction concluded, as is permitted by UK law. The seller failed to disclose clearly that the car had a prior history of being written off, a crucial detail that should have been prominently mentioned in the item description. Furthermore, the seller engaged in shill bidding during the initial auction, later presenting it to me as a second chance offer which I declined. Subsequently, the item was relisted. Once I discovered the extent of the damage to the car, I immediately sought to withdraw my bid.
