Hello. I am trying to access my Yahoo email account that I haven't used in a few months, but I'm unable to log in. Although I know the password, it prompts me to send an email to an old address I no longer have access to. I recall setting up security questions and know the answers, but I'm not given the option to proceed with them. The email account was created a few years back, and I've been inactive for only a few months. It doesn't indicate that the account is deleted, but I can't reach the security questions. I really need to access this email. Is there a way to retrieve it? The help center hasn't been useful. Thank you for your assistance and apologies for any language errors.

I recently received an email notifying me that my Yahoo email account was scheduled to be deactivated due to some unauthorized activity that occurred overnight, which I did not initiate. The email requested personal information to prevent this deactivation, but I hesitated as I was unsure of the source. Unfortunately, I have been unable to find a way to contact a live customer service representative at Yahoo without having to purchase a contract. I am seeking assistance in resolving this matter without having to navigate through various online channels.

I have had a Yahoo account since around [redacted]. Today, when I tried to log in using my usual login information, it asked for my email address instead of accepting [redacted] When I followed instructions for troubleshooting, it displayed my name and login information but still didn't let me in. Even though I entered the correct login information, it asked for my password, which it then rejected. I am very frustrated and need assistance promptly. Please reach out to me at my email address just below (and my phone is [redacted]/[redacted]).
Thank you.

Hello, I opened a Yahoo email account back in December [redacted] to set up my iPad Mini, and later used it for a rose gold iPhone 6s and another gold iPhone 6s. Two of my devices are still linked to the Yahoo email, but the rose gold iPhone was lost a year and a half ago. Recently, I received a message asking for verification due to suspicious activity on my Yahoo account, but I can't access the phone number associated with it. I know the password and have only tried to log in on Apple devices linked to the email, so I'm confused about the suspicious activity prompt. This email is crucial as it's linked to many of my social media accounts. If I don't hear back, I may have to contact support.

When attempting to log into my email, a security prompt popped up asking for verification due to multiple password attempts. Unfortunately, I cannot access my secondary email or recall the security question. Could someone assist me in this matter? Additionally, the forum mentions my username "mattsebr" is addressing the issue, but I am unable to respond to my own query.
There is a note below stating, "You did not yet indicate what you hope Yahoo will do to make this right and come up with a fair resolution."

Dear Yahoo Support Team,
I am David M. from Switzerland contacting you about my mother, Silvia K., residing in Spain. We are facing issues with her Yahoo accounts after several changes due to her father's passing and losing access to her email. We managed to recover her first account, but she is unhappy with it. Our request is to recover her current account, transfer emails from the old account, and permanently close the initial one. We understand the need for identity verification. You can contact us at the provided phone numbers and email addresses. We appreciate your assistance in resolving this matter.
Thank you,
David M.

While traveling far from home, I unfortunately lost both my phone and wallet, leaving me in a challenging situation. In order to regain access to my accounts, I decided to purchase an iPad and a basic Nokia phone for SMS communication, both of which are new to me. Despite entering the correct username and password for my Yahoo account on these devices, I was not prompted to update my phone or email information for verification. This lack of two-step verification is concerning for my security, especially given my current vulnerability. With limited funds remaining, I may need to reach out to my embassy for assistance. I can be contacted via SMS on my new phone at 30 [redacted].

Dear Sir/Ma'am,
I had an account named [redacted] around 10 years ago, but now I found some of my old information on a website linked to this account. Yahoo cannot locate the email, and I can't recall the recovery email. However, I can confirm I am the original owner with the name Stefen Cruthirds associated with it. The last activity on this email was in [redacted], and I am unable to remember the password. I kindly request assistance in recovering this email to remove any linked accounts. Your prompt help is greatly appreciated.

My iMac computer was hacked, and I contacted Apple for assistance with emails going to spam. After a two-hour call with Apple, they suggested the issue might be related to Yahoo and provided me with this number: [redacted]. When I reached out to Yahoo, I discovered my computer had been accessed from various locations, including Russia, California, and Florida. This correlated with unauthorized charges on my Visa. To address this, I was advised to install a "security lock" on my computer for a one-time fee of $[redacted].99 by Dycine Global. I'm unsure if this is correct. Does Yahoo work with Dycine regarding security breaches? I felt uneasy contacting Dycine at the number they provided and am anxious about the situation. I thought it was safe since Apple referred me to them on September 1, [redacted]. Please provide guidance promptly. Thank you.

I recently had a chat session on 31/8/18 with two representatives, Shilpi and Piyush. Unfortunately, I encountered difficulty as they were unable to provide me with clear answers to my inquiries. Their unhelpful attitude left me feeling frustrated and my issue unresolved. When I requested to speak with a supervisor, they abruptly ended the chat without addressing my concerns. I urge the Yahoo team to review my case and kindly reach out to me at [redacted] All I seek is assistance to regain access to my Yahoo account under the username [redacted]

I have received an email with the subject "Security Info Update for [redacted]" from what seems to be a service provider. It states that if my account is not renewed by September 12, [redacted], I will lose access to my email and its features. The email urges me to renew my account for a better experience. The message is signed off by Customer Member Service, Copyright [redacted] Inc.

I'm experiencing the same issue with the email login process. Whenever I enter my email address, I'm redirected to an "uh oh" page indicating that Yahoo will send a verification code to another email of mine. Despite receiving many emails with codes, none of them seem to work. This has been ongoing for about a week now, and it's frustrating as I've received around 50 emails with codes that are ineffective. I hope this can be resolved soon so I can proceed with my tasks. Thank you for your assistance and understanding.

Every time I log into Yahoo Fantasy Football, I encounter a "Congratulations Amazon User" screen that prevents me from accessing my account. This issue has persisted from last year into this year, consistently disrupting my experience when navigating the league and team screens. It appears as if it's spam and exclusively targets Yahoo Fantasy Sports Football, not affecting other Yahoo sections like news. I kindly request assistance in resolving this matter promptly, as it hinders my ability to manage my teams. Despite clearing my browsing history, cookies, and all Amazon-related data on my iPhone, the problem persists. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I had two email IDs during university over 25 years ago and have forgotten the passwords for both, leading to them being locked due to unsuccessful login attempts. I am unable to access these accounts where I have important information stored. To make matters worse, the recovery email I provided is also unfamiliar to me, creating a frustrating loop. I have been struggling with this issue for many years and am feeling exhausted. Losing access to these accounts is not an option as creating new ones is not feasible for me. I kindly seek assistance or guidance on how to proceed.

There have been issues with posting videos about Hillary Clinton's "basket of deplorables" comment on Yahoo News. When sharing the links, they mysteriously redirect to different web pages instead of playing the correct video. The original YouTube links in Word Pad lead to the correct videos, but when posted on Yahoo, they display unrelated content. This has caused confusion and frustration for users trying to share these specific videos. Here are the links to the original videos for reference:

I have two email accounts with Yahoo. The first one is "[redacted]," which I created a long time ago while in California. The second one, "[redacted]," was opened about five years ago while I was in Tehran, Iran. Yahoo has recently blocked my second account "[redacted]" Since I am currently in Iran, the phone number on file ([redacted]) is inactive. However, my home phone number in Los Angeles ([redacted]) is active, and my wife is available there. Despite providing correct security answers, the system rejects them. This issue happened before while I was in Iran, but it was resolved when I visited L.A. and spoke to a Yahoo representative. I've shared my contact details and additional information to confirm my identity. Please unblock my account and reach me at "[redacted]" for further communication. Thank you for your assistance.

I cannot recall the password for [redacted] I have attempted to answer the security questions, but I am unable to gain access. This account dates back to my early 20s, and it holds sentimental value for me. Could Yahoo possibly provide me with at least the first letter of my password? Alternatively, could they assist me by verifying with my social security number or location of origin? This email address is significant to me as it is from my childhood. For contact, my alternate email is [redacted]

I need help with my Yahoo email account. I attempted to update the recovery phone number, but it keeps redirecting me to log back into my email account with the password. The email address and password are accurate. Even when I click on "Go to the Yahoo Account security page," it just takes me to the email login page where I struggle to access my account after entering the password. It keeps asking me to verify the phone number repeatedly. I am trying to change the phone number to an email address instead.

I am determined to find out who is behind this and tampering with my accounts. I believe you must have some records or IP addresses that could assist in tracking them. My email address is [redacted]

Hello,
I am reaching out on behalf of the company I work for. A former employee created an account with your service using the email address [redacted] to establish an Instagram account. Unfortunately, the employee has left the company, and we are unable to access the passwords for both the Instagram and Yahoo accounts. We would like to reset the password for this account, but we no longer have access to the linked phone number. Is it possible to update the phone number to mine at +48 [redacted]25 or allow me to reset the password?
I am willing to provide any necessary information to verify my identity or affiliation with the company.
Thank you,
