Since the recent update, my Xbox has encountered two significant issues. Firstly, when I press the upward direction on the D-pad, the controller enters 'sync' mode, which persists until I power off the Xbox or remove the controller batteries. This glitch disrupts my gaming experience, particularly during intense moments, leading to frustration. Secondly, there is an issue with party and game chat audio. Although it might be related to the headset I am using, before the update, the chat overlay worked fine. Now, when joining a new party, reconnection of the controller (due to syncing from pressing the D-pad upward), or switching between game and party chat, individual voices echo like robots. If any assistance or suggestions can be provided, it would be greatly appreciated.

I tried to sign up for Gamepass, entered my billing information, but each time I tried to subscribe, it just redirected me back to the main Gamepass screen without the option to install a game. I attempted this multiple times with no success, even trying with my PayPal details but encountering the same issue. I was advised on Reddit to reboot my console, and after doing so, I was finally able to install a game. However, I noticed that I have been charged for each unsuccessful attempt on both my bank and PayPal accounts. I am hoping to have these erroneous charges refunded.

I mistakenly redeemed my Xbox card on my little brother's account. I'm hoping to transfer it from his Savagekantus445 account to my AtomicDesert745 account. I have all the necessary information for both accounts. The error occurred because I was signed into his account on my Xbox app without realizing. Roughly 10 minutes later, I discovered my mistake and I wish I had double-checked before redeeming the card.

In early February [redacted], I had three Xbox consoles stolen from me in Mill Spring, North Carolina, including two [redacted] limited edition consoles and one Xbox One. The consoles had my account and billing details, and now I am receiving achievements for games I don't play. I changed my passwords immediately after the theft. I haven't noticed any unauthorized sign-ins to my account, and I'm concerned about the security of the billing associated with the stolen consoles. I've been trying to contact support for two days without success. My plan is to speak with Xbox support to resolve this issue. If I don't reach a resolution, my next step will be to contact cybersecurity. I can be reached by phone at ([redacted])-[redacted] or via email at [redacted] Thank you for looking into this matter.

I received an Xbox One controller as a Christmas gift from my brother, which I've taken great care of. Unfortunately, the controller has stopped functioning properly within a year despite being well-maintained. This $80 customized controller is now malfunctioning, and I'm quite frustrated by this situation. I have not mishandled it, yet it is giving random inputs making it impossible to use without disruptions. This is the third controller that has failed me in just two years, and I'm beginning to think they are purposely designed to have a short lifespan to make customers purchase replacements frequently. As a long-time Xbox user, I am deeply disappointed in the product's quality and reliability.

Since the recent billing update, I have noticed that my Xbox Gold subscription hasn't been billed. I only realized this last night when I tried to pay my past due amount. However, I encountered an issue when I tried to update my payment method. Despite re-entering my card details multiple times on both my Xbox and laptop, I keep receiving an error message stating there's an issue with my card. I even contacted my bank, who confirmed there are no blocks on my card and there are sufficient funds available. I have been attempting to reach a live person for assistance, but Xbox only offers an AI chat and a looped phone number that hasn't been helpful. I am looking to understand why the payment isn't going through, if there's a way to cancel and restart the process, and why there isn't a direct phone line for customer support.

I recently chatted with Xbox support to recover my account. After verifying my information, I changed my password. However, when trying to recover it, I received a message about pending security info changes. It asks me to verify my email but I can't remember the password for the email I used to register. I have no way to recall a password from over 10 years ago. I've been a loyal Xbox user since the beginning and would appreciate some assistance in regaining access to my account.

I recently purchased the standard edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 for my Xbox One from Walmart on the release date. However, after installation, I noticed that I am missing certain options on screen such as different character skins and operator mod slots. I have tried to reach out to the game developers for support, but have not been able to get in contact with a human to assist me with this issue. I have bought the same game from the same place for others who have access to these options on their systems. It is frustrating for me to not have these features like character customization and gestures available to me, and I would appreciate an explanation as to why this is the case. I'm hoping to find a way to access this content without any additional costs.

I need help recovering my Xbox account. I played on Xbox [redacted] and now want to access it on Xbox1. I forgot the password I made when I was 12. I contacted Xbox support, answered security questions, and reset the password, but I still can't recover my account. I want someone to call me or chat with me directly for assistance. It's frustrating to wait for days without resolution. I've been a loyal Xbox player since the original console and never experienced such difficulty. The current support system is not effective, and I hope they can help me regain access soon.

Hello Microsoft, I am Jacob Grabow. After the recent OS update, I noticed that all my owned DLC content disappeared from my Xbox, including games like Oblivion, Rage, Mass Effect 2 and 3, and Dragon Age Origins/Awakening. This has affected my gameplay and saved progress. Additionally, I realized my Xbox Live Membership purchased with a prepaid card in August is also missing. It's quite puzzling, and I seek assistance from Microsoft to restore my DLC content, saved games from their servers, and my Xbox Live Membership. Thank you.

I recently updated my Xbox One and encountered an issue where it keeps signing me out of my account shortly after signing back in. To resolve this, I followed suggestions to reset the Xbox, which unfortunately resulted in my account being erased. I am now unable to recall my password and no longer have access to the phone number associated with the account. The Xbox account name is SkipThaTrip376 with the email [redacted] The phone number linked to the account may be [redacted]. Additionally, my bank card is linked to the account if that information is required. Recovering this account is crucial to me as I have invested time, effort, and money into it, purchasing games and making progress that I do not want to lose.

I am having trouble logging into my Xbox account. Every time I try, I receive the following error message: "we can't sign you in. Try again in a few minutes or check service status in Xbox assist. My account name is BadgerStabber, and the email associated with the account (which I cannot figure out how to update) is [redacted] I would like to update it to my new email, [redacted] Recently, I purchased and installed BlackOps 4 and 12 months of Xbox Live, which worked well for over 48 hours. The code used was: 6tngy-y76w3-jpqpr-vb8p2-rvvqr. I have been experiencing this issue for over 24 hours now. I have a question regarding connecting my Xbox [redacted] to the internet. I've been experiencing difficulties with the connection; it seems to stop and not load. Is it still feasible to connect the Xbox [redacted] to the internet? If so, I would appreciate some guidance on troubleshooting this issue. In case connecting wirelessly continues to pose problems, I am also considering using a wired network connection.

Hello,
I am reaching out regarding the service request number [redacted].
I would like to address the recurring charges on order no. [redacted] for the Xbox Game Pass, which was supposed to be free. My son has been unknowingly charged monthly for over a year, totaling £[redacted].00 from his personal bank account. He never received any emails notifying him of these charges when he initially signed up for the Xbox Game Pass.
I am deeply concerned about the way this subscription was set up without proper communication. It feels like taking advantage of children's innocence to secure monthly payments without their awareness.
Could you please share all the relevant information on how this subscription was established? I urge you to respond promptly as I have previously reached out without receiving a reply.
Sincerely,
M.N.

I need assistance with a recent unauthorized transaction on my account. There seems to be a charge of $29.98 made to the Microsoft Corporation via PayPal, which I did not authorize. I have not linked my PayPal account to my Xbox One and Microsoft account for the past 6 months. I kindly request a refund for this amount.

I am requesting a refund for this month's Xbox Live fee. I was suspended due to another player messaging me and causing offense. I believe this suspension was unfair as I simply play the game as intended. I ask for the $11 refund for this month's Xbox Live fee to be processed promptly.

Case #[redacted] is the original case number for my preorder of Red Dead Redemption 2. Due to the unclear digital preorder procedure, I was under the impression that the game was already paid for. Unfortunately, the funds were not available, and I am unable to play the game even though it's downloaded. Recently, I purchased Assassins Creed Odyssey without realizing I needed money for RDR2. I inquired about returning Odyssey for store credit to buy RDR2, but the response was unhelpful, implying my transaction history is unavailable. As a loyal customer for many years, I feel frustrated and misled due to the lack of clarity in the preorder payment process. Your assistance in resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated.

My name is Joseph Accardo and you can reach me at [redacted] I have been in communication with agents through phone and online regarding a recent suspension. I am determined not to let this issue go. As an employee of the Department of Defense, I am prepared to use my connections, seek legal advice, and explore all options even after the suspension is lifted. The recent incident where my son and his friends accessed my account during my absence at work and sent a message with inappropriate language came to my attention. I was unaware of any prior suspensions on my account. I am troubled by the enforcement's stance of holding me accountable simply because it's my account. I subscribe to Xbox Live and hold two other memberships, investing in skins and add-ons. I am willing to own up to my mistakes, but the enforcement process seems unreasonable. It is crucial to inform a person before enforcing a suspension. I believe I am a victim in this scenario and as a dedicated paying customer, I expect prompt assistance from your company, which I have been trying to reach without success.

My brother and I share our Xbox so we can enjoy games together using the "Game Share" feature. I had a live chat with a Microsoft customer service rep yesterday who informed me that Red Dead Redemption 2 should be available for game sharing at midnight. Despite this, when I tried to download it from both the Xbox store on my console and PC, I only saw the option to purchase. My brother pre-ordered the Ultimate Edition in September and downloaded it yesterday using the pre-order feature. I attempted to call Xbox support but only received automated responses directing me to their website. I followed the steps to speak to a live person three times without success. Before seeking help, I checked that both accounts are shared, there are no internet problems, and other shared games work properly. I even researched the issue on the RS Games support site, but they redirected me back to Xbox support.

Hi, my name is Tyler Dobransky, and I use the Xbox gamertag Tdobes22. My email associated with it is [redacted] I encountered an issue while trying to renew my Xbox Live Gold membership. The message "The payment option on an existing subscription was declined, blocking this purchase" directed me to the Microsoft website. Upon signing in, I discovered a different gamertag, Aagatecrib288011, that I didn't create. I need assistance in syncing my actual gamertag, Tdobes22, with my account and resolving the payment problem. I suspect the issue may be related to using a new credit card. Despite being able to buy games and make in-app purchases, I'm unable to resolve this issue. For a quick resolution, I prefer to be contacted by email or phone ([redacted]) tomorrow around 10 AM EST. I've been a loyal Xbox member since the [redacted] days and also face trouble accessing my EA Access. I look forward to a prompt response. Thank you.
