I forgot my PIN number for my WhatsApp account, which is set up with two-step verification. I also can't remember if I added my email address, [redacted], when I installed WhatsApp on my Moto G 3 phone with the number +[redacted]16. After uninstalling the account, I am unable to retrieve the PIN, as I didn't receive any link in my email to reset it. Since yesterday, I've been encountering another issue where, after entering my phone number, the app keeps buffering and never connects. Hello, I am facing an issue with WhatsApp. I recently switched my mobile number from Jio to Vi, but I have retained the same number. Although my SIM card is from Vi now, I am not receiving OTP verification codes via SMS or calls for WhatsApp. This has been going on for 15 days. For the past few weeks, I have been experiencing issues with my WhatsApp. An error message keeps popping up, stating that my number is no longer in use. I disabled two-step verification, but it still prompts me for the verification PIN. After waiting for 7 days to reset my account, the problem persists. Dear WhatsApp Team, I have two phones with two WhatsApp accounts due to using another SIM card. When trying to merge both accounts, I encountered an issue. Changing the WhatsApp number on my new phone did not load all the data from the other account, leading me to reverify my old phone. Unfortunately, I could not keep both accounts active, and one was shut down. Since the number on my new phone is no longer active, I am unable to reopen my second account to save the contacts. I received a call from an unknown number instructing me to confirm a meeting code, after complying I noticed I couldn't access my WhatsApp account anymore. It's apparent that someone else has taken over despite my profile picture still being displayed. I kindly request WhatsApp to block the account associated with the number [redacted]0. I have now registered a new number on WhatsApp, and I urge for the old account to be blocked to prevent the hacker from misusing my image and number for fraudulent activities.

I previously had a WhatsApp account, but I deleted it over 12 months ago for security reasons. Currently, I do not have an active WhatsApp account. Despite this, my friends inform me that my number still appears to have a WhatsApp account linked to it. When my friends send me messages on WhatsApp, they are being received and read by someone else, even though I do not have the app installed on my phone or desktop. I have now tried to download WhatsApp again to address this issue, but I am unable to access the app as I need to enter a one-time password (OTP) to switch to my current phone. Unfortunately, the OTP is being sent to the hacker who is currently using my account and mobile number.

Yesterday, on 23/10/[redacted], my WhatsApp account with phone number [redacted]8 got hacked. A lady called me and asked for the 6-digit code sent by WhatsApp, which she used to access my account on another phone. I have been trying to recover it since then but have had no success.
