Subject: Refund Request for Cancelled United Airlines Flight Dear United Airlines Customer Service Team, I am reaching out regarding a recent flight reservation made under my name, Marc Rodriguez, with MileagePlus number XZH65622. A flight was scheduled from Minneapolis to Barcelona on May 15th, [redacted], which I intended to change to May 18th. Unfortunately, I encountered issues altering the flight and subsequently had to cancel the reservation, anticipating a refund. As a student, purchasing another Barcelona flight at current prices is beyond my financial means. Had I succeeded in changing the date, I would have willingly paid any additional fees. Since that was not feasible, I am formally requesting a refund for the cancelled flight reservation. Attached is the itinerary for your review, showing the cancellation well in advance of the departure time with no usage of the booking. I respectfully ask for your consideration in processing this refund. If this is impossible, I am open to any alternatives you can provide. I tried the chat feature, but the wait was too long. In the past, my late husband and I had United mileage accounts, and one of us received a silver upgrade. I have changed my email and am unsure if my mileage account number RQG50300 is still valid. I am also concerned about my husband's account with number YF529609. I am eligible for TSA Precheck and have Global Entry. I have a code share flight with Lufthansa to Norway in the future.

I am experiencing significant difficulties with the handicap service. Additionally, my reservation was unexpectedly changed, causing my three-hour journey to transform into a 15-hour travel day. When attempting to check in for my 6 AM flight, I was informed that I could not board and was rescheduled for a flight three hours later. I am in need of speaking with a live customer service representative regarding this situation. I recently completed a trip from Missoula to Denver and back for the first time with my mobility scooter. United's staff were incredibly friendly, which helped ease all my initial anxieties. The trip went smoothly thanks to their assistance. A young woman at Denver airport who guided me while pushing another passenger in a wheelchair was a great help. I would have been lost without her. Subject: Issue with Recent Flight Booking I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent service provided by Austrian Airlines during our trip to Austria, booked through United. Upon our arrival in Chicago for our flight to Vienna, my husband and I encountered a troubling incident at the check-in counter. An Austrian Airlines agent made inappropriate comments about me not having the correct visa, displaying unprofessional behavior by singling me out in front of other passengers. Although a supervisor eventually resolved the situation, this experience left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. I believe United should address this matter as they are responsible for booking our flights with Austrian Airlines. We were supposed to take flight UA3532 from Greensboro to Newark, but due to weather conditions, volunteers were needed to stay behind. During the confusion, I am uncertain if we were rebooked for the flight on the 17th. Our confirmation number for today was I8BP16, and I have not received any confirmation email at [redacted] After speaking with a lady at the call center, she had rebooked us for the 17th at 6:08 am. However, due to vouchers being given, this had to be cancelled and rescheduled for tomorrow. I just need to confirm if we are scheduled for the flight.

My brother, Philip E. Segura, has a flight booked on UA576 on 5/31/23, departing from MIA at 3:49. He is a special needs individual with full mobility but limited mental capacity. He is polite and has been a frequent flyer on this route for 20 years. My wife and I would like to assist him to his gate, help him find his seat, and ensure he gets off the plane safely. My flight from Honolulu to Pohnpei, my final destination, has been canceled because of the weather forecast. 1. Am I entitled to accommodation if I get stranded in Hawaii due to the weather? 2. If I've already paid $[redacted] for extra luggage, will I have to pay that fee again for the additional luggage when I check in again in Hawaii? 3. Can the airline reschedule the entire flight for a later date, or do I need to do it myself?

I had a reservation with United from MSP to PUB on 5/10/23, returning on 5/24/23. Unfortunately, I had to cancel due to a norovirus outbreak at my destination. I contacted United on 5/9/23 to cancel and was informed that I could receive a credit for a future flight if I paid $[redacted]. However, I have not received any communication regarding this credit. In order to reschedule my trip, I need this credit to be processed. My booking number is [redacted]7 and the confirmation number is FPRKJO. Can you please assist me with this issue? I traveled from SFO to Chicago ORD in first class and then to Catania, Italy in business class via Brussels. Despite both bags being marked as priority from SFO to Catania, one was mistakenly transferred to a Lufthansa flight to France at ORD. Upon arriving in Catania-Siracusa, Italy, I filed a lost bag claim as my bag was missing for five days. Considering the inconvenience faced despite booking upgraded tickets and priority baggage, I seek compensation. I had to purchase clothing during the wait. We checked in for about 1.5 hours, causing us to miss our Frankfurt-San Francisco flight. We need to rebook our tickets. We arrived at check-in at 15:00 for a 17:30 flight, which actually departs at 18:00, but were not allowed to board. I have a 9-month-old baby who had to sleep on the floor, and Lufthansa claimed it is United Airlines' responsibility as they will be here tomorrow morning. I am extremely unhappy with the service provided by United Airlines staff at Frankfurt Airport. Thank you for your assistance.

1. My name on my United Mileage account is misspelled, and I am unable to correct it online. I had a previous United Mileage account that seems to have disappeared, and I have a flight at 7 am tomorrow morning. 2. I require special assistance due to a recent spinal fusion on Feb 24, [redacted]. Yesterday, I made one reservation on United.com, but ended up with multiple bookings. An agent helped me cancel the extra reservations and rebook my seats on the desired flight using booking reference GQ2XD6. After receiving an email indicating one of my reservations was canceled (GRBSFX) along with being charged twice on my credit card, totaling $2,[redacted].54, I am left confused. One reservation was refunded as flight credit, but I am unsure how to receive a refund for the other one. Additionally, I redeemed 78,[redacted] miles ($[redacted]) for both bookings but haven't received these points back. Despite the tickets showing as open on the website, I am unsure of how to proceed with requesting a refund.

I recently bought additional legroom seats for a different flight and had done the same for my original flight. We were given credit for future travel for the fare difference between the two flights ($[redacted] per person), but it seems the refund for the extra legroom seats wasn't issued. I am requesting a refund for the extra legroom seats on the new flight (totaling $[redacted]). If a refund isn't feasible, a credit for a future flight would be appreciated. The flight experienced a delay of over 8 hours, causing me to miss my connection to United flight [redacted] bound for RSW. Initially, I struggled to locate a gate agent for assistance. Eventually, I was able to rebook for the next day after finding an agent. According to regulations, United should have provided a complimentary hotel room, but the agent stated he lacked the authority to do so. Consequently, I had to stay overnight at the Marriott hotel in the airport. I am seeking compensation for this inconvenience. Despite reaching out to customer service via phone, text, and a formal complaint, I have yet to receive a response regarding this matter. It has taken me more than 24 hours to reach home when it should have been a 6-hour journey due to United rerouting me, flight delays, and cancellations after long hours of waiting at the airport. Now my bags are missing, and I can't seem to get through to a service representative without getting disconnected. I require two things: to locate and deliver my lost bag and to receive a considerable flight credit or a full refund for my trip. This has been my most dreadful flying encounter, despite being a frequent traveler. My United MileagePlus number is TK687205.
