Hello, my name is Nancy Walter. I am Captain Ronald D. Boogren's daughter, and I am reaching out because my father has recently passed away. I need to arrange a flight from Oklahoma City (OKC) to Los Angeles (LAX) for his funeral. Unfortunately, I am facing financial constraints and could really use some assistance. My father retired from United Airlines after dedicating over 40 years to the company. I am hoping that there might be a discounted rate or some form of support available to help me attend my father's funeral, which is scheduled for the 23rd of this month. I am disappointed in the way my issue was handled. I left my iPhone on a flight from Newark to Munich on May 27, arriving in Munich on May 28 at 7:35 am. I was in business class in seat 5L. The booking number was NY6ML2. I followed the protocol provided by United and was informed on May 28 that my phone was found and would be sent to my home address at 7 Decker Court, Mahwah, NJ. However, upon returning home, my phone was not there. I spoke with a United representative on June 12 who mentioned my phone was located, and I would receive an email with further instructions and costs to have it shipped to me, but I have not received any communication yet. My daughter, Kasey, left ANC yesterday (6/12/23) on Alaska Airlines Flight [redacted], which was ticketed by American Airlines due to a prior cancellation. Her two duffel bags were tagged by Alaska Airlines with numbers AS 23-28-47 and AS 23-28-48, indicating the routing from SEA to DEN to MSN. Upon her departure from Anchorage, American Airlines rerouted her onto United Flights [redacted] and [redacted] to reach her final destination of Madison, WI, for the next part of her journey. However, upon arrival in Seattle, she was again rerouted by American Airlines to flights AA [redacted] and AA [redacted] (SEA-DFW-MSN). Despite arriving at MSN at approximately 23:00 on 6/12/23, her bags did not arrive. She promptly filed a claim with American Airlines at MSN, but as of now, there have been no updates on the claim site. We suspect her bags may have been mistakenly routed to United Airlines due to the initial tagging and subsequent rerouting. We urgently need confirmation from either United Airlines that the bags are en route to MSN or confirmation that they were never scanned into their system. This is crucial as Kasey has upcoming travel plans to Vienna and Tbilisi on Thursday and requires her belongings for a month of work. I need help getting a refund from United Airlines for a flight I couldn't use a month ago due to a personal emergency. I accidentally left my black Bose sunglasses in Seat 3-C on Flight [redacted] to IND this morning. This flight was initially scheduled for 7:34 am but departed around 11 am. My sunglasses were in a black case located on the inside of the seat near the center divider. The plane unexpectedly returned to Houston before I noticed the glasses were missing, as I had already picked up my luggage. Please check Seat 3-C when the plane returns from IND to IAH, as it promptly turned around. Kindly update me on their status.

I work for a travel agency in Spain. On June 10th, we encountered an issue where two customers were unable to board their flight from Malaga to Newark (and then to Miami) due to an ESTA problem with one of them. I am seeking clarification on which passenger on the reservation had the issue, as the client is falsely claiming refund from us. Any assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated. We are currently on our way to Reykjavik, Iceland from Boston today and attempting to complete the check-in process. Our confirmation number is CJ263F. When I made the reservations, they were under my name, Erika Calais, and my husband's name, Doug Calais. Regrettably, my husband's passport displays his name as Douglas Calais, which is causing a mismatch between his reservation and passport. This discrepancy is hindering our ability to check in online. Is there a solution available that would enable us to check in smoothly from our home? In addition, I have concerns regarding the flight being overbooked. Thank you for your assistance.

Hello, I flew on UA [redacted] this morning with one checked luggage and a carry-on bag. At check-in, an agent advised me to check the carry-on bag, mentioning no charge if done at that moment, but a fee would apply if done later at the gates. When I returned to the check-in machine, it charged me an additional $45. Unfortunately, I was running late and couldn't visit customer service. I would appreciate it if you could process a refund. I purchased a first-class ticket for a family member, and your airline first canceled their flight, then downgraded them to coach. They were not even assigned a preferred seat. This situation is entirely unacceptable. We had a brief family reunion planned, and now we have lost a day due to the flight cancellation and the downgrade to coach. Given their back issues and height, sitting in coach will make this trip extremely uncomfortable for them. United confirmation code: BMX4LH Please arrange for them to have a first-class seat. Hello United Airlines, I recently flew from Chicago O'Hare to Portland, Oregon, from June 22 to June 26, [redacted]. Upon my arrival at O'Hare, I discovered that I had a basic ticket without carry-on allowance, resulting in a $35 fee, which left me quite disappointed. The ticket was booked by a United Airlines representative on May 8, [redacted]. The supervisor mentioned some reference to an "OLD LADY" in my reservation, which I found to be offensive and discriminatory. Despite my previous Economy Plus flights with Confirmation PCKHHG and AE4NKR earlier this year, I ended up having to pay extra for an upgrade to avoid another carry-on fee. After contacting United Airlines and spending a total of 2-1/2 hours on the phone with various representatives before speaking to a supervisor, I am left feeling unsatisfied with the service provided. I am requesting a refund for the $35 fee and the $49.50 upgrade due to the oversight by the representative who did not accurately review my information. Flight UA2634 on June 26, [redacted], was canceled, leaving us stranded with no available flights the next day to Raleigh. With all rental cars booked, we had to resort to a $[redacted] Limo Van for our group of 11, traveling from 2:00 am to 6:30 am to ensure everyone could make it to work. While Raleigh was not our final stop, some continued on to other destinations. We are seeking a refund for the unused flight leg and the van expenses. Our luggage was delayed until June 27, [redacted], arriving after we had already left. We now face the inconvenience of returning to Raleigh to collect our bags. My flight from Chicago O'Hare International Airport (ORD) to Portland International Airport (PDX) was delayed multiple times, ending in a cancellation. Despite trying to contact customer service, I have had no luck reaching an agent after being on hold for over 90 minutes. I was advised by the gate agent to call customer service, but have been struggling to do so as the app and website are not providing consistent instructions. We had to gate check our bags on the initial flight, which we now can't access due to the cancellation. Our attempts to resolve this through the Customer Care form have been unsuccessful. Our rebooking for a flight home in 36 hours was impractical, leading us to book a different airline at our own expense. We have not received meal vouchers or accommodation, and our refund request has been denied. I am seeking information on the refund status and further actions United Airlines plans to take to address this issue.

I needed to change my flight on my existing reservation. Unfortunately, after being left on hold for five hours, I was told there were no flights available. Ironically, when I checked the United website, the exact flight I wanted was available with four open seats. Frustratingly, I'm still on hold after calling back. I urgently need to speak to a live person before all the remaining seats get booked up. This flight change is crucial for an important family event in Italy, and missing it would be devastating for our family.

I require a refund for two flights that were cancelled, compensation for time missed at work, reimbursement for the Uber ride to my final destination, and a voucher for purchasing clothing and toiletries since the airline did not return my baggage. I am seeking a full refund for the flights, reimbursement for the expenses incurred due to the missing luggage, compensation for the significant delay on the tarmac leading to the cancellation, reimbursement for lost wages, and coverage for the Uber ride to work.

I made a flight reservation with United, but it's being operated by Air Canada. When I tried to check in through United, I was redirected to Air Canada. Following check-in, my boarding pass indicates that I'm on standby status. I don't understand why I've been put on standby after booking this flight well in advance and checking in 20 hours ahead of time. I wasn't given the option to buy a seat during the process, and when I contacted Air Canada, they couldn't help me secure a seat either. It's important for me to be on the flight I originally booked since I have other commitments to attend to afterwards.

I scheduled a flight from SFO to Dallas for June 25th, only to receive a message on the same day informing me of its cancellation and a rebooking to an inconvenient red-eye flight with long layovers, which was unacceptable. Despite numerous attempts, I couldn't reach customer care as the call waiting time exceeded 2 hours with no response. This has been an incredibly frustrating experience. I was forced to change my flight to a different destination, incurring additional costs. Managing accommodation and food expenses while missing work has been challenging, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss. My flight from LaGuardia to Denver was canceled, and despite receiving a rebooking notice, the app still shows me on the canceled flight with no available alternatives to Denver. My end destination is Santa Fe, not Denver. I've been on hold for more than two hours now. I'm attempting to confirm if I've truly been rebooked or if there's a possibility of being rerouted. Unfortunately, the app only displays flights to Denver and doesn't allow me to explore rerouting through another city.

We recently decided to cancel our flight with Allegiant using confirmation number HENJFH that was booked on 02-06-[redacted]. We attempted to utilize the flight credits this week for a trip from Kalispell, Montana, to LAX and then to LAS, only to find out that our Allegiant flight got canceled. To our disappointment, we were unable to apply the existing flight credit and had to pay for the new booking instead. We have now realized that the travel for the new trip must be completed by 02-06-[redacted]. We believe it is unfair that we were not allowed to use the credit as anticipated. She aims to board the June 28, [redacted], Flight 90 to Tel Aviv, which seems full. I wonder if United can accommodate her on El Al Flight on June 28, [redacted], from Miami to Tel Aviv at 12:50 PM.
