I am extremely frustrated with the customer service experience I have had. I have been sending messages on the app, but it seems like the agent named Koppisetti K is having trouble understanding English, and no one else has been responding to my continuous messages.
I made a payment of Rs 70 through Mobikwik to uber@axisbank to clear a pending amount, but even after paying, I am unable to book a ride. The app is still prompting me to pay for a previous trip that I have already paid for.
This level of unprofessionalism from Uber is unacceptable. I will inform my friends and family to avoid using Uber, and I will not be using your services again. I intend to raise this issue on various social media platforms. The lack of a direct contact number for customer service adds to the frustration.
Please address my problem promptly or issue a refund for the amount paid.

I have an account with Uber that I haven't used in years. I'm now trying to log in with my old email but a new phone number. The security check is asking for details from my outdated credit card, which I don't have. I cancelled the card long ago and no longer have the card number or CVV. I'm stuck in a loop! I've tried filling out a form on my laptop twice without any response. When I try on my phone, it asks for a screenshot from my phone settings, which I can't seem to get to work. I'm incredibly frustrated and need a way to access my old account with my existing email.

I requested an Uber from LAX airport with my destination. The driver, 'Marahlisa Kia Optima 8KPX239,' messaged me for my location, which was unacceptable. I provided my address but the ride was canceled. I was charged a $13 cancellation fee and faced a surge price of 2.0x when rebooking. The second driver ran out of gas, adding to the inconvenience and costs. I am requesting a full refund for the current ride, cancellation fee, and additional compensation. I also expect to see action taken against the named driver for this poor service. Thank you, Adam F.

I have sent approximately six photos of my driver's license using various devices, including my camera, phone camera, and your application. Unfortunately, none of them have been accepted yet, and I have not received any feedback on what the issue might be. The most recent photo was submitted on August 30th and has been pending approval for a week now. I tried contacting the driver support line but received a message instructing me to email support @uber.com, which I did. However, I received an automated email stating that the email is not monitored without providing an alternative. Could you please advise me on how to proceed to resolve this matter?

I lost my Samsung J7 mobile phone while taking a cab from Golf Course, Noida, to Shri Radha Sky Garden near Ek Murti, Greater Noida West. I believe I left it on the seat by accident. I am desperately trying to reach the driver. I received a missed call from someone who identified as being from Uber, but the call got disconnected. I need the driver to return my phone promptly before I involve the police or Uber in the matter. The driver can contact me at my alternate number, 0[redacted]. This issue is urgent and I would appreciate any help in locating my missing phone.

I was overcharged for a ride to downtown yesterday. I paid $17 when it should have only been a $10 trip. I had no choice but to take the ride as I was stuck. The driver even had to use his own Google Maps to get me to the right place. It's not fair that I had to pay so much just to go downtown, especially when the driver was also upset about it. He mentioned he would contact the company to complain. I would appreciate getting half of my money back. If I wasn't in a tough spot, I wouldn't have taken the ride. Please contact me via phone or email at [redacted].

Hello, I am experiencing issues connecting to my Uber account because my phone was thrown out of the window by the Uber driver named Wilmar. After dropping me and my friend off, he drove erratically and was rude. Despite me being too intoxicated to notice his reckless driving at the time, my friend was frightened by his behavior. I left my phone in his car, which I later found down the street, turned off. I am upset that this driver, who displayed such unacceptable behavior, is associated with Uber. Although I doubt I will receive compensation for my lost phone, I believe appropriate disciplinary action should be taken. I have a screenshot of the driver for your reference. Thank you for addressing this matter promptly.
Best, Roxy.

Upon landing at LaGuardia airport from Denver on a Delta flight on 9/8/19 around 10:30 PM, my wife and I requested an Uber, a routine we often rely on. Being elderly and using wheelchairs and canes, we rely on assistance. Despite the Uber app stating our driver, Ahmeet, would arrive at location M3 in 10 minutes, confusion arose. A traffic agent redirected us to location N1 where Ahmeet was waiting impatiently after 15 minutes. The driver appeared disoriented, leading us on a roundabout route to Scarsdale via Queens, Manhattan, and the FDR Drive, disregarding my suggestion of the Whitestone Bridge into the Bronx. This prolonged journey was exacerbated by unexpected fees, including a waiting charge and a surge fee of 1.2, not disclosed during booking, in addition to a Manhattan congestion fee that could have been avoided using the Whitestone Bridge. The final cost exceeded the initially confirmed $83.40, causing frustration.

On Monday, September 9th, the Uber driver mistakenly took me across the George Washington Bridge instead of heading to my office in Westwood, NJ as I had requested. I provided him with the correct address, but he followed the previous Uber trip log that led to NYC and crossed the bridge into Manhattan. Despite my objections, he insisted on crossing the bridge before turning back.
I am unable to locate the driver's name on my Uber App, but I would like Uber's assistance in resolving the charges for this incorrect trip. Thank you.

On Monday at around 12:30 AM, we arranged for "Frankie" to pick us up at the designated area on the second level of LAX for ride-sharing services such as Uber and Lyft. Despite being informed that he would arrive in seven minutes, we waited for nearly 15 minutes before attempting to contact him using the [redacted] area code provided. We observed several Uber drivers stopping, including one who turned out to be "Frankie". Upon questioning him, it became apparent he was not waiting for us. When he eventually called to inform us he was at the far end of the pick-up zone, we were frustrated wondering why he didn't slow down earlier to confirm. He claimed he couldn't stop there, although the signage indicated otherwise. Despite his tardiness, we were on time, not him. I am disputing the late fee and will not be choosing this driver for future rides. - George

I am locked out of my Uber account and have been unable to resolve it with the online account team. Despite reporting fraud on my account on 7/14/19, the issue remains unresolved, and I am unable to use my account. I used to rely on Uber daily in NYC, and my family also depends on the service. I feel disappointed by the lack of assistance and would appreciate any help in rectifying this situation. Thank you.

I frequently take the same route from home to work using Uber. Normally, the fare is around $8-9. However, yesterday I had a disappointing experience with a driver. Despite my suggestions for a quicker route, he ignored them and drove far past my destination. When questioned, he was rude and insisted on completing the longer journey. To my surprise, he increased the fare from $8 to $18 due to the extended trip. I promptly reported the incident to Uber, attaching a screenshot of the excessive route taken. Unfortunately, Uber responded at the end of the day, refusing to refund the difference and expecting me to pay the higher amount. This uncomfortable ride occurred on September 12 at 7:00 a.m. with a Toyota Camry T708373C.

I had a promo for 2 free $15 rides, but when I used the promo code, it only took $2 off each ride. I referred a friend who also used the promo code but ended up getting charged too. I sent pictures of the promo code and details of the charges, but the money was never refunded. Even though I logged out of the account, I'm still worried about extra charges. I submitted all the information to support, assuming it would be resolved. I'm disappointed that the promo didn't work as expected, and I hope to get the correct discounts applied or receive a better promotion for future rides.

Hello Team,
I had booked a cab for the 15th of September from 2 am to 3 am. I received a confirmation message, but the driver did not answer my calls. I had to cancel and rebook another cab, but faced the same issue with different details. Eventually, I opted for an Uber Go ride, which cost me an additional Rs. 42. This was not my fault but due to your drivers. Then, around 3:15 pm, I booked an Uber Auto, which initially showed a total of Rs. 33 but upon reaching my destination, the driver claimed it was Rs. 64 due to an old balance. This has been a very disappointing service experience for me. I kindly request a refund for the extra charges.
Best regards,
Surest S.

While riding along with my friends in an Uber, I accidentally left my phone in the car after the driver had already left. I managed to track down the driver to his apartment where I notified him about my phone left in the back seat. He promptly retrieved it for me. Surprisingly, I was charged $15 for the return of my phone, which I understand is the Uber policy for returning items. However, in this case, the driver did not actually return the phone to me; I had to approach him to get it back. Given he did not have to go out of his way or spend more than a few moments to hand me my phone back, I believe the $15 charge is unfair. I would like to request a refund of this charge as the driver did not need to make any additional effort to return my phone to me. Your assistance in resolving this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Dear Uber South Africa Durban,
I am writing to report an incident involving one of your drivers, Thembelihle, who was sent by Shaun from Crown Auto Repairs to pick up my Samsung S7 with VR Gear Oculus. I sold this to Shaun for R2500. After Shaun transferred the money using a Standard Bank instant money voucher, he claimed that the transfer did not go through and requested my fiancé Bobby's banking details to make an EFT payment from his business account. Shaun assured us the money would reflect at midnight due to it being a business account transfer. The next day, Thembelihle, the Uber driver, contacted me demanding money and threatening to sell my items to cover fuel costs. The driver's behavior has escalated to harassment. I have reported this fraudulent activity to the local police and provided evidence of the driver's threats for monetary gain after taking possession of my phone and VR gear.
Thank you,
D. Naidu

I am having trouble logging into the Uber app. I used to have an account with the email [redacted] and the phone number [redacted]. Later, I switched to my current number [redacted] but forgot my password after reinstalling the app. Despite entering the OTP, I can't login. I contacted support months ago and received a call back and email but was not satisfied with the help provided. I was asked to send ID and address proof via email, but after doing so, I never heard back. I believe this is happening because I no longer use my old number [redacted]. Hoping for a proper solution this time. Thank you in advance.

I am a Canadian visitor in Egypt and I have been using Uber Egypt during my stay. Although my first experiences were satisfactory, my recent encounter was disappointing. I had booked a ride from 34 Gamet Al Dowal al Arabia Street to Gezira Sporting Club in Cairo. Despite the driver's confirmation of arrival, the Uber app on my phone malfunctioned, preventing me from identifying the car or contacting the driver. After unsuccessful attempts to locate the vehicle, the driver canceled the ride, and I was charged a cancellation fee of 12 EGP. I believe I am not responsible for the cancellation and consider the fee unjustified. I seek your assistance and insights on this matter.
Sincerely,
Hazem T.
