Any unused funds from the $68.25 will be retained, potentially for family use. I am concerned about the additional wait charge that the driver applied to my ride from San Antonio Airport to my home on 8 June. I was present in the designated ride-share zone in front of terminal 1 when I requested the ride, so there was no waiting time on my part. I observed through the app that the driver appeared to stall on the route to pick us up, remaining stationary for an unusually long time. The transaction ID for this ride is 7y513186lt912034a.

I took a ride from City Stars Mall to Isis 2 Hotel. The driver, Mohamed, arrived promptly. Upon entry, he assumed we were headed to the airport instead of the hotel. Despite my explanation, another Uber was sent, resulting in a cancellation fee. Upon arriving at the hotel, Mohamed insisted on a higher fare of [redacted] Egyptian Pound even though the actual cost should have been 92 Egyptian Pound. He persisted, offering a reduced rate of [redacted] Egyptian Pound, which I still found unacceptable. Refusing to pay the inflated amount, I informed him I would contact Uber to resolve the issue. He grew aggressive, demanding payment. I proposed [redacted] Egyptian Pound, he demanded [redacted], and, feeling threatened, I mentioned involving the police. Reluctantly, I gave him the money. Mohamed drives a gray BYD with license plate number [redacted]. The trip doesn't appear in my app, a distressing experience overall.

I'd like to report an incident involving a driver named Africa. After completing a trip from Hudson to 2nd Street, everything was fine until the driver agreed to take someone else to a corner store without my consent. Upon return, the driver demanded more money, claiming it was for a cash tip. Despite giving $20 initially, the driver wanted an additional $10 or a cash app payment. Feeling pressured, I gave a $5 tip to end the situation. I suspect the alleged cleaning charge was exaggerated, possibly with just water depicted in the photo provided. The driver overstepped by involving me in an arrangement I was unaware of. This led to unauthorized charges on my card, forcing me to cancel it. Unfortunately, my attempts to reach out for clarification were unsuccessful, as I was redirected to a sales pitch for paid Uber expert chat services. I urge Uber to investigate this matter promptly as I was misled into unnecessary expenses.

I rented a car through the UberX marketplace on Saturday, and I am experiencing issues trying to turn on rides. Every time I attempt to do so, I am redirected to the marketplace to rent a car again. This is not related to my workflow or any UberX documents. Despite removing and re-adding the rental multiple times, the problem seems to be a software issue on Uber's end. I have contacted 33 support agents, including supervisors, spending nearly 6 hours on the phone. I paid $[redacted] to rent the car through the Uber app, and I am losing money by the hour due to this unresolved situation. It has been two days with a rental car that I cannot use for rides. I have been transferred between accounts, vehicles, and supervisors, only to end up starting over each time or getting disconnected. My legal advisor suggested requesting a refund for the rental and lost earning time. This experience has been frustrating as only a few out of the 33 agents were helpful; the majority just redirected me without resolving the issue. This level of service is unacceptable.

I experienced a frustrating situation with my driver from McDonald's. Despite being told they were on their way three times, they remained stationary in a different area for over 15 minutes according to the app. I eventually had to cancel the $28.44 order due to the lack of progress. However, I was still charged for this order, which I never received. I believe it is unfair that I have been charged for a service that was not provided, and I would like a refund for the order.

I noticed that Uber has deducted payments from my account for the second time even though I haven't used their services since February. Uber is not available in my location, and there is no activity on my Uber account. I have not shared my card details with anyone, and I am concerned as this is the second occurrence. I took the step of canceling my card last time and obtaining a new one. I would appreciate your help in resolving this issue and preventing it from happening in the future.

I hired an Uber for a quick trip to the grocery store and back. I needed to pick up medication before my surgery tomorrow. However, when I came out of the store, my initial driver had left, leaving me stranded. The second driver who arrived didn't speak English, causing confusion and making the journey home difficult. Please be mindful of hiring drivers who speak the language of the region they are working in. Clear communication is essential for the safety of both drivers and passengers. Dear Sir, I am writing to report an incident with an Uber driver. Yesterday, I booked a ride for my friend who was leaving town, but there was a location issue which the driver requested to fix. Unfortunately, I was unable to correct it in time, causing a delay for my friend catching their train. I eventually used an auto-rickshaw to send them off. Last night, I was in Washington DC and took an Uber to two locations. The first stop was at [redacted] Water St and then we went to [redacted] Tracy Pl NW. We were initially at La Chaumiere Restaurant at M and 28th St. The driver seemed unfamiliar with the locations. I had to guide him to [redacted] Water St, which was only 5 minutes away, and was charged $17.00. For the second location, Tracy Place, which was another brief 5-minute ride, the driver also needed guidance. I directed him, and I was charged over $20. I believe I was overcharged considering the short distances involved - they were just a short distance apart, with the first stop being only half a mile from our original pick-up spot.

Good morning, I am reaching out about my Sunday trip on June 18th, [redacted], which cost $8.98 with driver Ramon. The reason for my dispute is that the driver mistakenly went to South Park Hallandale Beach instead of the correct location at [redacted] S Ocean Drive, The Hemispheres, Bay South Entrance. Only after I messaged him did he arrive at my pickup point. Additionally, he was not wearing his seat belt, causing a delay in departure. Communication was challenging as he did not speak English, and upon reaching my destination, I missed my bus to work. I find it unacceptable to be charged $8.98 for such a short distance, especially considering the inconvenience caused by the driver's errors. I am requesting a refund or a discount for this trip. Hello, my name is Georgina. I scheduled a ride yesterday at 3:37 with Brian, whose licensed plate number is HTP3320. I had two stops planned. However, when I got into the car and notified the driver that someone else was coming, he seemed impatient to leave. I placed my belongings in the car and explained that I needed to grab the other person. Despite my quick return, Brian drove off with all my possessions and canceled the trip. My coat contained my IDs, keys, wallet, and money - everything. I am extremely upset as I made numerous attempts yesterday and last night to recover my belongings but received no assistance. I now feel like I have been robbed and, at this point, I am considering filing a report because this situation is unjust.

I recently rented a car through Uber, but I didn't realize that I needed a major credit card instead of a checking account card. My reservation was canceled without a cancellation fee refund, which has been frustrating. I've been trying to resolve this issue through multiple chats and transfers to specialists but haven't received any emails with a resolution. When I contacted Payless, they mentioned it's through Car Ruler, but I couldn't find any contact information for them. I'm feeling overwhelmed with the runaround and lack of communication.

Hello, I need assistance with installing the Uber app on my iPhone. I had it installed a few years ago before [redacted], but switched devices. Now, when I try to reinstall it, I am having trouble with the verification process. After entering my phone number, I am prompted with a question asking if it's me. When I confirm, it directs me to send an SMS to the phone number [redacted]3 with the message "START" to receive another verification code. Unfortunately, the SMS messages are not going through successfully. I have also tried logging in with my Google and Apple accounts, but I keep getting stuck at the SMS instructions that are not coming through. I really need the Uber app fully installed on my device for an upcoming business trip next week. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

On the 18th, I took an Uber from Eendrachtskade Zuidzijde [redacted] to Nieuwe Markt, Groningen. The trip was supposed to cost 8,99€. However, the driver continued driving after dropping me off and ended up at Boterdiep Oostzijde 8, charging me [redacted],28€. I was not in the car for that additional distance of 40km. Although the receipt states the final destination as Boterdiep Oostzijde 8, the app shows it as Nieuwe Markt. I am asking for a full refund of the overcharged amount from my account.

Yesterday, I used Uber twice. In the morning, I paid $10 for a ride to work. In the afternoon, I attempted to book a ride home for $10, but I mistakenly missed some required prompts in the app. When I realized the issue and rebooked the ride at 3:30, the price had increased to $40, despite no traffic delays during the trip. Two days ago, on June 22nd around 5:30 pm, I attempted to request a ride from the Farmer’s Market to my apartment in Los Angeles. Despite providing clear directions while waiting at the intersection of Fairfax Ave and 3rd street near the USA bank building, the first two drivers had trouble locating me and ended the calls abruptly. After a frustrating experience, the third driver managed to find me and took me to my destination. Despite being quoted $8.69, I was eventually charged $16.04 for the ride, along with $5 x 2 for the canceled rides. The drivers' inability to locate me timely caused delays and frustration.
