I received a notification about a fee for an Uber ride that I didn't request. No one else has access to my card information, and the ride wasn't made from my Uber account. I live in Cape Town, but when I checked my banking app, it said "Uber Johannesburg" - I don't live there! Can someone help me figure out who requested this ride, and if I can get a refund, please? I turned off my internet banking as soon as I saw this.

On March 17th, I took an Uber ride in Pompano Beach, Florida for approximately $15. During the journey, there was an accident that forced us to find an alternate route. The driver struggled to navigate, so I used Google Maps to guide us to the destination. The next day, I noticed two charges on my account: the initial $15 and an additional $52.43. Uber explained via email that a hold charge would be removed in 3 to 5 days, but it has not been resolved yet. I'm seeking advice on how to proceed. Thank you for your assistance.

I arranged an Uber ride to the airport, relying on the estimated time of arrival provided by the app. Despite multiple attempts to contact my first driver, Anel, he did not move or pick me up. I had to cancel and order a new ride. The second driver also took a while to reach me after messages and calls but eventually apologized and picked me up. I'm currently en route to the airport but may miss my flight due to these delays. Despite being a Uber One subscriber, I am unable to get assistance from Uber's support team.

I have noticed unauthorized charges on my account from your company. I had instructed my bank to block these charges in January after the initial payment was deducted. However, you proceeded to charge me twice more in February and again in March, each time amounting to 5.99. I am uncertain how you obtained my information, but I kindly request that you remove it from your records and reimburse me for the charges as I have not utilized your services. On July 9, [redacted], I availed Uber services from Belapur to Kalyan when my UPI was not working. I paid the driver in cash, which he accepted before leaving. However, the trip is showing as unpaid in the system. I refrained from using Uber due to having a car in Kalyan but now use it regularly outside the area. 1. I need a quote for transportation from Orlando International Airport to Hyatt downtown Tampa on June 19, [redacted]. Our flight lands at Orlando International Airport at 1:00pm. My name is Janice Bullock. My card was charged $17.42 for a canceled ride that was scheduled too early, around 3 or 4 hours in advance. I attempted to stop the ride but accidentally canceled it. As a result, no driver arrived to pick me up. I would like the amount refunded to my card, which is linked to my account under [redacted]-[redacted]. Hello, I created an Uber account on June 29, [redacted], using a $[redacted] Visa gift card. Due to medical reasons, I haven't been able to use Uber, and my account remained inactive. On March 21, [redacted], I requested a refund. I was initially informed by a customer representative that the $[redacted] had been refunded to the used card, which I no longer possess. Subsequent interactions revealed conflicting information about the refund going to MetaBank (now Global Cash) requiring certain card numbers. Despite efforts with Uber and MetaBank, I have faced challenges in obtaining the necessary information for a refund from Wisely Pay. Despite providing personal details, Wisely Pay refuses the refund due to corporate verification issues. The process has been frustrating and confusing, with promises of resolution unmet. I am seeking Uber's assistance in providing the missing card numbers for a replacement card. I have attempted three times to cancel the account that you believe I have. I do not use Uber and I am confused by what your website is indicating I should be receiving for $9.99 per month. Last month, when I sent a similar message, you charged me $9.99 and then credited the same amount back to my bill. I am requesting a refund back to at least January [redacted] for the $9.99 payments that I observed. As an 82-year-old, I have no interest or need for Uber and wish to resolve this issue before escalating it to the BBB and other relevant agencies. I would like to report an incident regarding my recent car rental experience. Today at 4:30 pm, I hired a car from Sharad Bahar Restaurant to Bhavani Market, Sigra, Varanasi. Despite requesting the driver to turn on the air conditioning due to my health condition, he refused and insisted that I travel without it. When I suggested he go home and rest, he responded disrespectfully, making inappropriate remarks about feeding his family. When I threatened to report his behavior to the company, he showed no concern. This is the first time I have encountered such unprofessional conduct. As a loyal customer, I expect appropriate action to be taken against the driver, Aftab Ahmad. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

I have noticed several unauthorized charges on my card recently. These seem to be fraudulent and possibly related to hackers. I would appreciate it if Uber could confirm whether these charges are legitimate. The transactions appear to be from Uber in California, but I suspect they are not. I urge Uber to address this issue as many customers online are facing similar problems and seeking clarity. It is evident that this issue is being avoided, and I hope Uber can provide an explanation or acknowledge the problem. I attempted to book a ride using $40 of Uber cash, but was unsuccessful. My sister is currently stranded due to this issue. She had to escape a domestic violence situation and is back with her abuser as a result. I am deeply troubled by this and seek a prompt resolution to help her. Can you assist me in quickly addressing this matter? It would be greatly appreciated if I could receive Uber ride credit for the inconvenience and challenges we have faced trying to book a ride. During our trip to Rome, we had a disappointing experience with a taxi we booked through Uber. The driver refused to honor the price displayed on the app and charged us extra for the pickup location. This unexpected situation resulted in us missing our reservation and ultimately ruining our last day of vacation. We were left feeling frustrated and believe that we deserve some form of compensation for the driver's behavior. Moving forward, we hope Uber will improve their vetting process for drivers to prevent similar incidents from happening to others.

Hello, good day. I requested an Uber this afternoon for a pick-up at the Tri Rail Station near the Golden Glades Station. Unfortunately, all four drivers canceled as they couldn't locate the station behind the garage near the bus station. I would appreciate knowing the correct pick-up spot after disembarking the train to avoid any confusion for future rides. It seems one driver couldn't understand English well, which made it challenging to communicate the exact location. I found myself stranded for over an hour waiting for transportation.

I have been working as an Uber driver for over 5 years, completing more than 10,[redacted] trips. There is an issue with passengers making false accusations against me simply because I, as a driver, refuse to comply with their unlawful demands. Some passengers become annoyed by my refusal and start to verbally abuse me. In response, I stay silent, pull over in a safe location, and end the trip. These incidents have been increasing, so I decided to install a dash camera that records the entire ride. I reported the problem to Uber, but the staff member did not want to objectively investigate and blocked me permanently, accusing me of breaking the rules. I pay taxes in the Czech Republic and Uber fees, yet I have been unfairly deprived of the opportunity to work based solely on a passenger's complaint. I cannot be held responsible for the behavior of disrespectful passengers. I urge for a thorough review of this matter. I have recordings of the trips that clearly capture all conversations and the entire ride, including speed limits.

I was surprised to see that my Uber ride cost 4.5 times more than a taxi would have charged. The fare appeared to be $58.00, but I mistakenly thought it was in Pesos due to my previous experience with Uber in Mexico. To my disappointment, I was actually charged $58.07 for a short 1.9-mile trip. I decided to tip the driver 20% through the app, resulting in an additional charge of $11.61. In comparison, a regular taxi would have only cost $13.00 for the same ride. Despite reaching out to Uber via email, their response was unsatisfactory as they were unwilling to address the charges. Their lack of flexibility has led me to conclude that I will no longer be using Uber and will opt for traditional taxis instead.

I recently had to update my credit card information, but encountered an issue when I couldn't remember my password. Customer support helped me create a new account since we couldn't resolve the password problem. However, my phone number is still associated with the deleted account, preventing me from starting afresh. I am unable to log in and establish a new account now. I might have to delete and reinstall the Uber app on my phone to proceed. Any assistance would be appreciated.

I recently needed to update my credit card information on file, but encountered issues due to forgetting my password. With the help of customer support, we decided to delete my old account and set up a new one with the updated credit card details. However, my phone number remains linked to the old account which is causing difficulty in signing in to the new account.
