Hello, my name is Fatoumata. Recently, I placed an order on Uber Eats at The Star Grill. Initially, I requested the restaurant to cancel the order by phone, but they proceeded with it. The delivery was scheduled between 5:30 to 6:00 pm, but it never arrived. Upon contacting the restaurant at 7:00 pm, they claimed the order had been delivered, which was untrue as I was home all day. The restaurant mentioned they were solely responsible for preparing the food, not the delivery. Frustrated, I asked for a refund of £15. When my mother called, they gave conflicting information about the order status. I feel the service was unprofessional, and I paid a total of £15.95 for the order. The restaurant's address is The Star Grill at 95 Old Market St, Manchester M9 8DX. Can someone assist me in obtaining a refund?

I recently received an order that was missing some items. When I called the restaurant to inquire about my options, the owner responded with verbal abuse. Despite the missing item being minor and me just seeking information, he accused my driver and began yelling at me. I suggested they might have forgotten the items, which further incited his anger. As the yelling escalated, I expressed my decision not to order from them again. The owner then hurled insults at me and abruptly ended the call with a derogatory remark. Given this experience, perhaps UberEats should reconsider partnering with this restaurant to avoid customers being mistreated for simple inquiries. I maintained a respectful tone throughout the conversation and was met with unwarranted hostility.

I ordered 2 club sandwiches from Jubilee Junction. Immediately after placing the order, I decided to cancel it. Despite canceling within seconds, I was charged $17.22. I did not have a driver assigned, and the food likely wasn't being prepared yet. I am requesting a refund of $17.22 since I won't be receiving the food and paid for nothing.

I am requesting a full refund instead of just $5 for the terrible service I received from your company. My order was 30 minutes late, the food arrived cold without any condiments, and items were missing that I had paid for. Even the food I did receive was cold. I couldn't reach the driver, the store, or anyone during the entire transaction. I paid $5 each for milkshakes and $2.25 for sodas, but didn't receive either. It's frustrating that these platforms can exploit customers who rely on them. This experience was both awful and unacceptable.

I received the completely wrong order: missing large drinks, large fries, and anything related to my meal. As someone with celiac disease, having a wheat bun on my burger was extremely disappointing. Additionally, the drink I received was a frappuccino instead of what I ordered. To top it off, they tried to make up for the mistake by giving us cookies and other items. I made a purchase from Eggroll Factory at [redacted] Centrepointe Dr, Nepean, ON K2G 6E8 at 8:45PM PST on October 6, [redacted]. I ordered 3 eggrolls for $5.25 CAD each and 1 Singapore noodles for $13.00 CAD. Including service fees and a tip, the total was $25.63 CAD. The delivery was assigned to Himidi, driving a Kia Forte with license plate CFNB510, through Uber Eats. Despite the latest arrival time stated as 9:35PM, Himidi delayed the pickup excessively. Currently, it is 2:00AM, the restaurant is closed, and my order remains uncollected, making it impossible to contact him. I am extremely frustrated as my order has not been fulfilled, and I am seeking a resolution to this matter promptly. Thank you.

This morning, I made a purchase from Suprabhat Tiffins for Rs. [redacted] with order number BBD22. Following my order, my phone experienced network issues, causing me to miss the call from the Uber Eats delivery person. After restarting my phone, I discovered that my order had been canceled due to technical difficulties. When attempting to place the same order again, I was prompted to clear the previous bill. I had a terrible experience with Uber Eats today. My order ID was E1166, and I paid Rs. [redacted] through Paytm. Unfortunately, my order never arrived, and the delivery partner did not contact me. When I checked the app, I discovered that the delivery partner tried to contact someone named Mr. Dhaval whose phone number ends with [redacted], which is not me. I believe the delivery partner made a mistake, so I am requesting a refund of my payment. I have screenshots of the messages from Uber Eats customer care.

This is my first experience ordering food from your service. I frequently use Uber for transportation. However, I encountered an issue with the ordering process on your site. I placed an order at Itsu, received confirmation that it was on its way, but then communication stopped. When I tried to check my order status, it seemed to reorder itself. I attempted to cancel the duplicate order, but I was charged £7.96. The original order I wanted got canceled, and now I am still waiting for my food. Could someone please reach out to me? I have an Uber Eats account with the number [redacted]. Today at 10:37 p.m., I tried to order Dal Butter Fry from my account. I added it to the cart for Rs. 97 and proceeded to place the order. My card details were saved, and I entered the CVV, which redirected me to the SBI page for OTP confirmation. I entered the OTP, the payment of Rs. [redacted].89 was processed. However, I noticed that the transaction amount was higher than my order total and the order was not placed; my cart was empty. I am confused as to where my money went, as Rs. [redacted] was deducted from my account. Please assist me with this issue.

I placed a food delivery order last night. The restaurant informed me of an out-of-stock item, and I promptly adjusted my order within the 10-minute window allowed. However, after 45 minutes with no further communication, the restaurant canceled the order, yet I was still charged. The app support claimed they could not assist as I allegedly canceled the order after the initial 5-minute period. I am requesting a complete refund for the order and also compensation for the extensive time I spent during my workday attempting to address this matter with them.

I received an email stating I could use the OURTREAT promo code for a free £10 on my first order with free delivery. I tried using it on Saturday and Sunday night but was unable to apply it on the platform using my mobile. The email did not mention any restrictions related to using a mobile device. Can you please provide me with a new promo code so I can try out your service? I have screenshots of the error if needed.

I initiated an order but had to cancel it within a minute due to an incorrect address. I was unexpectedly charged even though delivery isn't available to my location, just one minute outside the service area. The app setup requires a work address for access, making profile management challenging with an out-of-delivery-area address. I ended up driving to the store myself and making a food purchase as delivery wasn't an option. Had I known I'd be charged, I would have opted to pick up the order. Given my upcoming move and the need to save funds, a refund or a voucher for the amount charged would be greatly appreciated as I had budgeted for a $30 meal shared with my dad, not a $60 one. It's disappointing that the store doesn't allow for custom orders like a steak.

On Friday, October 4, [redacted], I placed an $83.56 order for food from Sake Bar Kushi. Unfortunately, there was an issue with the app, which automatically cancelled my order. I was unsure why this occurred, but I speculated that the restaurant might have been closing and unable to fulfill a large order at that hour. The next day, I received an email invoice showing that the full amount had been charged to my account. Since no food was received due to a technical app glitch, I am requesting a complete refund for the order.

I have recently changed my phone number and am having trouble creating a new Uber Eats account. Despite my frustration, back in March [redacted], I used a friend's phone number in Montreal to access Uber. Due to some complications, we can no longer access that account. Fast forward to now, I wish to order food from Uber Eats but don't know the email associated with the previous phone number I used. The previous owner's name was Dishita. I would greatly appreciate any assistance in creating a new account with my current phone number and email. Thank you.

Dear Sir/Madam, I am a new user of UberEats and I am requesting a refund. On October 3, [redacted], I ordered food from a poke restaurant near my town of Wenham, Massachusetts. After ordering my food, I remembered a promotion I wanted to use and cancelled my order just 10 seconds later, resulting in an $18 cancellation fee. Unfortunately, I was unable to use the promotion, so I had to reorder my food and pay an additional $25. I kindly ask for a $18 refund as I was unaware that the promotion could not be used and I cancelled very quickly, likely before the food was prepared. Thank you and God Bless, Jeremy

I ordered $50.00 worth of food from Fazoli's three weeks ago, but they only delivered half the order, leaving two people without a meal. It took me 30 minutes to reach someone, who only agreed to refund $7.00. After calling back, the manager promised a $26.00 refund for the missing items, yet now, three weeks later, I still haven't received the money. No effort was made to redeliver the missing food that Saturday night. It seems they are happy to take my money but reluctant to refund what they didn't deliver. I am extremely unhappy after spending three hours on the phone trying to resolve this issue.

I placed an order at Fazolis three weeks ago on a Saturday. My order was worth fifty dollars. When the delivery arrived, only half of the food was included. They did not offer to return with the missing sandwich, meatballs, or bacon. Initially, they only offered $7 in compensation. After speaking with the manager, they agreed to refund only half of the amount. However, after spending multiple hours on the phone over three weeks, the money has still not been returned to my account. It seems they are happy to take my money but reluctant to refund it when they failed to deliver the complete order. I am very dissatisfied with this experience.

I spent $52 on Mediterranean food to be delivered due to a sprained foot, but I am disappointed with the quality. Unfortunately, my order was missing the $6 baklava that I paid for. Additionally, the portion sizes of my $17 entree were small, the rice was soggy, the salad overdressed, and my soup was lacking broth. I understand that mistakes happen, but missing an item and receiving subpar food is disappointing, especially at such a high price. I placed an order at Little Delhi and received a notification that Thalia was on her way to pick it up on a bicycle. Despite being at the pick-up spot, I didn't see anyone arrive. Even after checking with the hotel desk, the food wasn't delivered. The pick-up location was accurate since I had recently used it for an Uber drop-off.
