Hello, I was a bit confused about the auto-hosting "feature." I mistakenly thought that when I wasn't streaming, a favorite host's stream would show up on my channel. I have learned that this was originally how auto-hosting was supposed to function. Now, it seems that auto-hosting has been made less effective by only displaying "hosted" channels as favorites on the streamer's homepage, tucked away out of view. Whose brilliant idea was this? If I am mistaken about how auto-hosting works, please clarify. Otherwise, consider this email as my feedback: Twitch seems to lack or not fully support auto-hosting and should possibly rename the function to "unexciting shoutouts to my fellow streamers on my homepage" or something similar.
